Ankita Lokhande
, who is currently seen in Laughter Chefs season 2, is one of the beautiful actresses of Indian television. The actress has radiant skin and has maintained a fit body despite erratic shooting hours.
Ankita, known for her radiant complexion and flawless skin, recently revealed the secret behind her natural glow. The actress appeared as a guest on Rubina Diliak's podcast and during a candid skincare confession, she shared that her daily routine includes drinking what she calls 'magic water' and taking a Vitamin C capsule.
While speaking with
Rubina Dilaik
, Ankita Lokhande opened up about her morning routine. She mentioned that every day, she sets up a large tray containing all the important ingredients and drinks she takes before eating her breakfast.
She shared, "After I wake up, I start my day by consuming soaked methi seeds and dalchini water. Then I take a spoonful of a homemade mix made from ajwain, jeera, and saunf. Along with that, I take aloe vera, a clove of garlic, saffron-infused water, shilajeet water, and a Vitamin C capsule as part of my morning intake.
I actually started consuming this after I woke up and this has brought a lot of changes in me."
Ankita shared that she begins her day by drinking around 1.5 to 2 liters of water.

She noted that ever since she added these habits to her daily routine, she has noticed a remarkable improvement in her overall well-being.
She added, "After this I have a juice which consists of Beetroot, coconut water, different types of seeds soaked overnight which I consume and I make sure Vicky also has it. This is very important because even if you are not able to follow everything throughout the day, your morning routine helps you.
This has helped my skin and health a lot. My sleep cycle has also improved because of these practices. You start feeling good about yourself.
"
Ankita went on to talk about spiritual well-being and about her special "magic water" ritual. The actress stores water with saffron in a silver glass and places it in sunlight while standing on her balcony, allowing the water to absorb natural energy. She revealed, "I give energy to that water.
I talk just positively and then I drink it. That's how I start my day. It's amazing. You have to do nothing. Just talk to that water.
Give thanks to the universe. It's such an amazing feeling, I'm getting goosebumps."
Rubina was quite impressed by Ankita's unique approach and the wellness ritual she follows. She even mentioned that she's considering adopting it as part of her own daily routine.
Ankita further spoke about how she dedicates half an hour every morning to prayer. During this time, she recites the Ram Raksha Stotra, Hanuman Chalisa, Sankatmochan, and Bajrang Baan as part of her spiritual practice. She says, "I go for my shower, after I come back, half an hour is dedicated to my god. That half an hour is just me and my god. I recite the Ram Raksha Stotra, Hanuman Chalisa, Sankatmochan, and Bajrang Baan.
I keep water there as well and charge that water by keeping it near the temple and I drink that water throughout the day."

My Oxford Year movie review: Netflix's Saiyaara-coded weepy is no better than a Mohit Suri movie

What begins like an In the Heights-style story about upward mobility and female ambition turns into what can only be described as a Mohit Suri movie. Saiyaara won't leave you alone no matter how hard you try. The sappy tone of Suri's films, borrowed from the cinema of more countries than the average Indian will ever visit in their lifetime, has swung all the way back around and influenced the likes of My Oxford Year. It's perhaps the most algorithmic film that Netflix has released in recent memory. Starring two of the streamer's newest alums — Sofia Carson from The Life List and Corey Mylchreest from Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story — the film makes you wonder if it was produced only because the filmmakers gained no-holds-barred access to the University of Oxford. This backwards way of functioning used to be quite common in Bollywood, when 'briefcase producers' would 'sign' movie stars first, and only then concoct vague stories around song-and-dance numbers and random set pieces. My Oxford Year is based on a novel by Julia Whelan, and has been produced by the same company behind the Twilight movies; you can almost imagine the producers dusting off piles of film rights to books from up-and-coming authors, and pitching them one after another to Netflix. Always in the market for something that can be watched while filing your taxes, the streamer would've lapped My Oxford Year up hungrily. Also read – The Idea of You movie review: Anne Hathaway is spectacularly good in Prime Video's steamy romantic drama For around 45 minutes, it seems like the most risqué thing that My Oxford Year can do is to get you to root for a relationship between a brilliant American student and her (admittedly young) professor. They two might be in the same age bracket, but there's something obviously very scandalous about such an arrangement. As the quintessential rom-com heroine, Anna is plucky, individualistic, and driven. Her transition into subservience feels entirely rushed, and bizarrely regressive. But this happens only after her professor, Jamie, reveals a dark secret about himself. This was the reason behind his reluctance to fully commit to her after a breezy courtship across the Oxford grounds, while the movie allowed you to assume that he was just being a rake. It wouldn't be fair to reveal the plot twist here, but anybody who has ever slept through a Nicholas Sparks film can probably tell what happens. My Oxford Year's tone changes almost instantly after the big reveal, which practically pushes director Iain Morris into a narrative corner. He isn't the first person you'd think of to direct a film like My Oxford Year; Morris is best known as the creator of the very incel-coded British sitcom The Inbetweeners — the franchise, which spawned two hit films, has aged rather poorly. And although My Oxford Year is primarily presented through a woman's perspective, the male entitlement of Morris' cinema seeps through. Read more – One Day review: The perfect Netflix series, a tear-jerker of Titanic proportions Carson is perfectly fine in the lead role, which was perhaps first offered to a more established Netflix star such as Millie Bobby Brown, who last appeared in the Russo Brothers' The Electric State. She wasn't exactly hurt by that film's disastrous performance, and Carson will likely escape unscathed as well. This is the beauty of streaming films; most of them are so terrible, they're forgotten within days of release. It's a win-win situation for the young actors headlining them; by next week, it will almost be as if My Oxford Year never happened. Certainly, that's what Mylchreest would hope. He can learn from his fellow Bridgerton breakout Rege-Jean Page, who also took the Russo Brothers route to movie stardom and barely survived, unlike Jonathan Bailey, who chose to play a supporting role in the theatrical hits Wicked and Jurassic World Rebirth instead. The one thing going for My Oxford Year is that it has been filmed on location, inside several landmark buildings. This gives the movie a distinct whiff of Hogwarts. Plus, Anna immediately makes a couple of Ron and Hermione-adjacent new friends, who come and go as they please. In one scene, Jamie takes Anna to the Bodleian Library, which has to be one of the most romantic date spots ever. It does the trick for their relationship. They also frequent a local gyro cart and make friends with the owner, Dimitri. But all of this happens in the first half. Like a Hindi movie, My Oxford Year transforms after an hour into a different beast altogether; not necessarily one that you'd signed up for. Only romance completists will be able to tolerate its treacly sentimentality, because My Oxford Year is the kind of movie that makes you want to go on a detox immediately afterwards. Director Francis Ford Coppola doing fine after medical procedure in Rome

(Corrects to drop extraneous word in paragraph 5; corrects typo in doctor's name, paragraph 6) Filmmaker says on social media he "is fine" Coppola was promoting latest film "Megalopolis" in Italy Representative says procedure was scheduled, not emergency LOS ANGELES, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Francis Ford Coppola, the acclaimed American director of "The Godfather" movies and "Apocalypse Now," underwent a non-emergency medical procedure by appointment at a hospital in Rome and is doing fine, he and a U.S.-based representative said on Tuesday. "Mr. Coppola went in for a scheduled update procedure with acclaimed Dr. Andrea Natale, his doctor of over 30 years, and is resting nicely," the representative said in response to Italian media reports that the director was hospitalized. "All is well." The 86-year-old filmmaker was admitted on Tuesday to the Policlinico Tor Vergata, a public hospital in the Italian capital, news agency ANSA reported. The U.S. based representative declined to give any details about the nature of Coppola's medical procedure, but said: "There was not an emergency. He went to the hospital in a car." Coppola posted a photograph of himself on Instagram appearing relaxed and smiling with a message reassuring fans, "I am well." "Da Dada (what my kids call me) is fine, taking an opportunity while in Rome to do the update of my 30-year-old afib procedure with its inventor, a great Italian doctor - Dr. Andrea Natale," it said. He did not elaborate further. His U.S. representative specifically disputed as "not true" a report from the Italian website that Coppola had suffered atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heartbeat, before entering the operating room for what was to have been a long-planned surgical procedure. A spokesperson for the hospital did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment. Coppola was in Italy to promote his latest movie, the sci-fi epic "Megalopolis," a $120 million self-funded production about a visionary architect's quest to transform a fictional future version of New York City called New Rome into a utopian community. The film, which has drawn mixed reviews and struggled at the box office following its 2024 debut at the Cannes Film Festival, was reported to have received a special screening at the Magna Graecia Film Festival in Catanzaro, Italy. The Italian-American director, who has won five Academy Awards, four of them for his work on the first two films in "The Godfather" trilogy, widely considered by cinema buffs to rank among the greatest movies of all time.
