Nani worked as an assistant director and wanted to become a filmmaker before he debuted as an actor in the 2008 film Ashta Chamma. He revealed in the interview that he once feared that fame would change him. 'It has taught me that I don't need to worry much that fame will change me. A lot of people say that, right? That's also been my fear when I started out. That the fame will change how I think or who I am. Will it take away me from myself?'
The actor says the fear was only amplified due to the people around him, 'I saw it happen to people around me sometimes. But now, over the years, it has taught me it has nothing to do with fame. It's you who'll change. Fame doesn't do that to you. You were just controlling it, and now you let it out. Some people say he used to be very good before he was famous. No, he was just acting good; he was always this. Fame will not change anything, actually. That's what I've understood.'
Nani both stars and produces HIT: The Third Case under his banner, Wall Poster Cinema. The film directed by Sailesh Kolanu is the third in his HIT franchise. The first and second parts saw Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh play cops solving mysterious murders. The third part will see Nani go undercover to rescue a baby and solve a series of murders. The film has been rated A and will be released in theatres on May 1.

Sonali Bendre Says She Didn't Get Her Due In SRK's Duplicate: 'I Was Supposed To Have An Equal…'

Sonali Bendre recalls her role in Duplicate with Shah Rukh Khan, saying it lost its edge over time. Sonali Bendre has been a familiar face in Hindi cinema for decades, winning hearts with her performances across a variety of genres. But not every film journey has been fulfilling. While revisiting her 1998 movie Duplicate, where she starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan, the actress shared that the experience left her feeling creatively shortchanged. In a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sonali reacted to an old picture from Duplicate and admitted the film is still remembered fondly, especially the songs. However, she felt the character she played didn't evolve as promised. 'This was—I mean, you know—because it's Shah Rukh, and because that song was so popular. It was a film that a lot of people talk about. But this is one of those films that really helped shape the way I wanted my character to be. The idea was to have beautiful grey shades in this character, but it kind of started becoming… my character started becoming very one-dimensional, you know? I think it became more of a secondary character when I got onto it," she said. Looking back at her choices, Sonali compared her experience in Duplicate to her part in Zakhm. While she knew Zakhm featured Pooja Bhatt in the lead, she took on her role with full awareness because of her admiration for director Mahesh Bhatt and the strength of the story. She added, 'See, when I did Zakhm, I knew it wasn't the main character—I knew Pooja had that role. But it was a beautiful story with Bhatt Sahab, and I just wanted to be a part of it, so I did it. But when Duplicate was concerned, I was supposed to have had an equal amount, you know? And at that point, it started to feel like it wasn't the same kind of role anymore. So at that time, I did start to feel like I wasn't getting my due. But I think eventually, it all evened out, and you know—I did get my due." Sonali Bendre reveals Salman Khan made faces at her during Hum Saath Saath Hain shoot: 'We were fighting all the time...'

Sonali Bendre Behl, a prominent face in 1990s and early 2000s Hindi cinema, recently shared amusing anecdotes from the set of Sooraj Barjatya 's 1999 family drama, Hum Saath Saath Hain. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Bendre specifically recalled co-star making faces at her during filming, alongside other candid memories. Amusing behind-the-scenes banter with Salman Khan When shown a nostalgic photo with Salman Khan from the Hum Saath Saath Hain shoot, Sonali Bendre joked about her pose, wondering aloud if she was pouring tea or milk in the scene. The moment turned into a playful discussion about her cooking skills—specifically, her ability to make halwa. Sonali admitted she doesn't cook it herself but confidently added that she's perfectly capable of instructing someone on how it should be made, from getting the sweetness right to whether it's properly roasted. The interview took a light-hearted turn as Sonali Bendre reflected on her on-set equation with Salman Khan during Hum Saath Saath Hain. She recalled that the two often clashed playfully, with Salman frequently making faces during her close-up shots, much to her annoyance. Though initially frustrated, Sonali eventually came to understand his layered personality. Behind his tough and sometimes mischievous exterior, she discovered a softer, more genuine side to him—something that took her time to recognize but ultimately left a lasting impression. The iconic costume's weight Sonali also shared a striking memory from the set of Hum Saath Saath Hain, revealing that the golden ghagra she wore in the film weighed nearly 20 kilos due to its intricate zari work. The elaborate costume wasn't easy to handle—it even caused her skin allergies and rashes because of the artificial jewellery she had to wear. She also mentioned that the heavy outfit affected the choreography, as simply turning in it required extra beats. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film continues to be cherished for its portrayal of traditional Indian family values.
