Speaking at the Platinum VIP Style Awards, Rosanna told The Irish Sun: "It was a big shock and a big cry. She's the healthiest person in the world, really health conscious.
"It just goes to show it can happen no matter how healthy your lifestyle is. It takes no prisoners. It can happen to anyone."
After about a year of treatment, Diane fortunately got the good news that she was in "complete remission".

Rosanna said her mum is doing "great" now and added: "She's absolutely living her best life. Which is amazing to see. She had a rough couple of years.
"She fought it early because of a routine check. The reason why I spoke about it is because of the importance of routine checks.
"I'm due to go in the next couple of weeks for an annual blood check. It's just to keep you on top of your health checks.
"Whether it's smears or mammograms or blood tests, that kind of thing. Just to keep you on top of your health.

Speaking about her dad, Rosanna said: "He just did a tour of Australia. He kind of kept it low key. He was like, 'Me and your mum popping off to Australia'.
"And then he did the Opera House in Sydney one of the nights. So he did like a six or eight day tour in two weeks.

"I don't know how! They were getting flights in between from coast to coast. He's 76. There's no sign of him stopping.
"My granny though is about to turn 99. So there's something in the genes there."

The 41-year-old revealed how being a mum actually helps her stay so fit.

She told The Irish Sun: "I go to a trainer three times a week. Apart from that I don't do cardio or anything. I'm just quite active.
"Once I pick up the kids from school we go to the playground. Even the steps I do around the house getting them food and getting them dressed and bathed and everything.
"I wear a hoop normally. It's always detects me showering the kids as an activity because I'm just constantly moving.
"I'm not a big partier. I get up too early for that. They're all in school. Just staying active and being conscious of dieting.

"Sleep is such a big part of it. I'm a 9 o'clock bedtime person these days. The boys rock in at 5.30 every morning. Tomorrow morning I'll be up at 5.30."
