EXCLUSIVE Kathy Griffin shows off VERY taut face as she tames her wild-hair look

Daily Maila day ago
Kathy Griffin changed up her appearance again this week after debuting a shockingly new look the week before.
Earlier this month, the 64-year-old comedian was spotted out in LA without her standard bangs and with a mostly makeup-free visage as her red hair fluttered wildly in the breeze.
Griffin almost looked like a different person on the outing, but she bore a stronger resemblance to her usual self on her latest sighting as she took a walk with her service dog.
Despite that, her face looked particularly taut as she got some exercise around town.
The outing comes in the wake of Griffin undergoing a hysterectomy in early April.
The actress — who sparked outrage after sharing a shocking anti-Trump video — boasted a fully made-up face and covered up her long red locks with a wide-brimmed straw hat as she tried to steer clear of the piercing sun.

She was dressed casually in a gray T-shirt repping The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
She paired it with baggy gray pants, matching Nike trainers and a small brown patterned handbag.
Kathy's choice of shirt was shocking, unless she meant it to be ironic, as she recently called Colbert a 'd***' over what she described as an ambush interview from 2018.
In May, she said on her YouTube show Talk You Head Off that her appearance on The Late Show went awry when the host pressured her to discuss a controversial photo she posted the previous year of herself holding a mask of Donald Trump that was covered in fake blood.
Some critics claimed that the bloodied mask resembled a severed head, and Griffin was subsequently investigated by the Secret Service over the display, which she said concluded with her being 'completely exonerated.'
Griffin slammed Colbert for nearly bringing her to tears during the interview, and she accused him and his producer of reneging on the terms of the interview after she initially said she didn't want to discuss the photo controversy.
She said she thought the controversy had been thoroughly covered and was already behind her after the investigation wrapped up with no charges, but Colbert's insistence on discussing it despite regularly 'mak[ing] fun of Donald Trump' led her to feel an 'undercurrent of misogyny' to the interview.
'I just remember thinking, "He would not talk down to the guys like this. He just wouldn't. I don't think I've ever seen him treat any of the guy comics like this,"' Griffin said of Colbert.

Griffin admitted that she felt tears welling up as Colbert grilled her, but she managed to keep them at bay until she had stepped off the stage.
When she confronted the show's executive producer about the change of topic, they defended his line of questioning with an apparent non sequitur.
'He just can't get over [the photo],' Griffin recalled the EP saying, before they explained, 'Stephen's really Catholic.'
'And I go, "What? What does that have to do with anything? I was raised Catholic too!" Griffin recalled. 'And he said, "I think that's what it is." I just said, "Oh, OK, I can't make any sense of that."'
Griffin reprised the controversy over the bloody Trump mask photo — which got her booted from co-hosting CNN's New Year's Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper — when she shared a video of four fiber-art portraits of the severed heads of billionaires Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and the current president.
All four heads, which were made of a carpet-like material, had red yarn dangling from them to simulate blood and flesh.
'For the first time ever… no comment,' she captioned the clip.
Although she was lambasted in the comments on TikTok, the controversy had a smaller tail than in 2017, and its unclear if Griffin made the bloody portraits or was simply sharing another artist's work.

She revealed in April that she had undergone surgery to remove her uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries to prevent a possible recurrence of cancer.
The surgery followed an earlier cancer scare in 2021, when she was diagnosed with stage one lung cancer.
The My Life On The D-list star required surgery to remove half of her left lung, but she revealed months later that she was free of cancer.
However, she revealed the following year that she needed vocal cord surgery to save her voice after it was severely impacted in the wake of her cancer surgery.

Tinder co-founder continues to build his empire with $120M project

By El Encanto looks over the Pacific Ocean and charges guests over $1,000 a night for a luxury experience in one of its 92 rooms across the seven-acre estate. It boasts a 'serene and quiet' atmosphere situated on the Riviera. Forbes called it 'an elegant Santa Barbara hideaway.' Guests can enjoy sweeping views from an array of Riviera-inspired bungalows and villas. Mateen purchased the hotel from Belmond, the hospitality company of retailer LVMH. El Encanto was their only hotel in the United States. He embarked on this project alongside his brother Tyler Mateen and Culver Capital, an investment banking and business consulting firm. He told Robb Report: 'We will be pouring love and resources into this iconic property to continue that legacy and ensure that it remains a top destination for visitors from around the world and down the block.' The property was originally purchased in the 1870s and became a hotel in 1918. It has been visited by many of Old Hollywood's dazzling elites like Clark Gable and Carole Lombard. Even 100 years later, the glamorous hotel continues to serve stars like Gwen Stefani, Barbra Streisand, and Leonardo DiCaprio. The hotel will remain open during renovations, which are set to take approximately three years. The first order of business is a complete makeover of the grounds with the help of LA architect Mark Rios. The plan is to turn the property into a 'mystical garden.' They also plan on replacing a few of the rooms with coffee shops and membership clubs but want to keep its original character and charm. Over the past few years, the brothers have been dedicated to purchasing high-profile real estate properties in Southern California. The area's real estate scene is notoriously difficult to break into, but Mateen seems to have had no problem building his empire. In June, the duo spent $69 million on a retail property near the famous TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. They acquired the Hollywood Galaxy shopping center and the historic Peterson building, which sits next door and once housed a Cadillac dealership. In 2024, in partnership with Pouya Abdi, the brothers spent millions on a five-story office building called the Wilshire Rodeo Plaza in LA, which they hoped to fill with retailers and a rooftop restaurant. The same year, the brothers acquired HHLA entertainment center in Westchester near Playa Vista. They're refurbishing it to house the immersive entertainment company Meow Wolf, among other retail tenants. Mateen and his brother are strategically spending money on their hometown of Los Angeles. The commercial real estate market in the region is currently on a downswing, but the brothers are confident their investments will pay off when it bounces back in the next few years. El Encanto is just one of their many ventures that will help transform their beloved hometown. Under its new leadership, the hotel will operate as a boutique, untethered by any hospitality chain or company. Tyler Mateen said: 'We want to control what's on the menu and how the staff are working.' With hotel sales on the decline in California, coastal properties are looking to sell to affluent buyers who intend on hanging onto the hotel for years to come. That makes the Mateens' $120 million total investment worthwhile. Justin Mateen said the resort 'is something that we're going to hold in our families forever.' Daily Mail reached out to Justin Mateen for comment.

Amon-Ra St. Brown's dad leaves fans furious with racially-charged comment about sleeping with white women

The father of NFL stars Amon-Ra and Equanimeous St. Brown has sparked controversy after telling his sons to avoid sleeping with white women in order to breed better athletes. John Brown - a former bodybuilder - is the father of three Division 1 athletes and claims he is regularly asked how he managed to produce such talented athletes. In a resurfaced clip from last summer that has gone viral this week, Brown tells his sons: 'I believe in breeding. Look at you, good athlete, I'm black, mom is white. 'I've done stepped on it once, you can't keep stepping on it because you're going to mess it up. You're going to weaken it.' To that, Lions receiver Amon-Ra asks: 'You can't keep cutting it?' to which John replies: 'Can't keep cutting it. You and Brooklyn [Adams, his fiancee], because Brooklyn's half and half, you've got a chance. 'You've got to be careful, you've got to think about that. I'm black, I've got the black gold running through my veins, I'm excited and just going to find the right person to mate with. John Brown keeps it real when people ask him about raising three boys that got a D1 scholarship, two of which made it to the NFL 🗣️ — St. Brown Podcast (@StBrownPodcast) July 12, 2025 'If I'm white, I'm saying "let me get one of those brothers around here", if you want to have athletes. If you don't want to have athletes, then go and spread your seed whenever.' John was then asked why he opted to breed with a white woman - a German named Miriam - to which he replied: 'I knew I could cut it once, because I've got that black gold in me. 'Mama got that big chin and big toes. Ain't nothing wrong with a big-toed woman. You've gotta think of this stuff, some guys don't think about it til later.' On social media, fans quickly jumped on the comments and argued back against what they perceived to be a 'racist' point of view. In fact, one X user claimed: 'That's the most racist thing I've ever heard.' Another added: 'What an idiot. There are literally more white athletes than black athletes. It's like, "son it's okay for me to marry a white woman but you better not".' Others, though, sided with John Brown and claimed he is correct with his beliefs. 'He's saying it in the most inflammatory way possible, but if you hit the genetic jackpot and possess elite athleticism, who you have kids with matters a lot,' one claimed. 'Especially if you want your kids to have a chance at being a top professional athlete.' One more added: 'I'm not gone lie, I think about this sometimes. A child's athletic abilities come from their mother. Gotta choose right.' John Brown has three sons, with Amon-Ra the most accomplished athlete, currently playing for the Detroit Lions. He is a three-time Pro Bowler over the last three seasons. Equanimeous, meanwhile, has played five seasons in the NFL but is currently without a team after being released by the New Orleans Saints at the end of 2024. Osiris, the youngest of the three brothers, played for Stanford at college - and graduated - but decided against pursuing a professional career due to injuries.
