Chris Hemsorth's A-list Ibiza birthday bash

Don't miss out on the headlines from Entertainment. Followed categories will be added to My News. Aussie movie star Chris Hemsworth celebrated his 42nd birthday this week with a celeb-filled party on a yacht Ibiza – while wife Elsa Pataky stayed home in Byron Bay to do the grocery shopping. Hemsworth had assembled an A-list crew of family and friends to mark his birthday on Monday, including his fellow actor brothers Luke and Liam, Oscar winner Matt Damon, actor / director Taika Waititi and his wife, pop star Rita Ora. Thanks for always being such a wonderful legend. Never change. I hope I have abs like you when I grow up. Love you.' Little bro Liam in holiday mode. Picture: 'I'll take the abs, the boat invite, and maybe just 10% of the Hemsworth genetics,' one fan quipped. Another declared it 'just not fair to all the other men on the planet.' This pic from the birthday celebrations sent fans into overdrive yesterday. Meanwhile, Chris' wife Elsa may not have been there to celebrate with him in person, but the 49-year-old Spanish actress did share a sweet message on social media in honour of her husband and father to her three children. 'Happy birthday to my Rocky Balboa,' Pataky wrote alongside a video post with several photos. Elsa stayed home, but she did share a sweet birthday tribute to her husband on social media. Chris has been spending much of his time in the UK of late, with production on Marvel's hugely anticipated Avengers film currently underway. He's set to reprise his role of Thor, which he debuted in 2011, alongside fellow MCU great Robert Downey Jr. in Avengers: Doomsday, which hits cinemas next year. Russo brothers Joe and Anthony are directing the movie and its follow-up, Avengers: Secret Wars, the latter of which is set to be released in May 2027. Global music icon Snoop Dogg will headline the AFL grand final entertainment.

Global music icon Snoop Dogg wants to make the 2025 AFL grand final 'unforgettable' after being confirmed as the entertainment headliner for the MCG decider in September. The AFL confirmed the rap mogul would follow Katy Perry, Kiss and Robbie Williams who have been massive grand final day hits in recent seasons. 'It's an absolute honour to be hitting the stage at the AFL Grand Final — it's one of the biggest events on the Aussie calendar,' the music megastar said. ' Can't wait to bring the energy and celebrate with the fans. Let's make it unforgettable.' Snoop Dogg has been a sensation for more than three decades and in recent years has taken his talents to the NFL Super Bowl and the Paris Olympics. 'The AFL Grand Final is the biggest event on the Australian sporting calendar — and this year, it just got a whole lot bigger,' AFL CEO Andrew Dillon said. 'Snoop Dogg is a pioneer, a performer, and a true entertainer. He's played to packed stadiums around the world — but we think 100,000 fans at the MCG might just be his most iconic crowd yet. 'We want Grand Final Day to be an unforgettable celebration of footy — and beyond the four quarters of the match, a celebration of culture, energy, and entertainment. Snoop fits that brief better than anyone. 'From Long Beach to the biggest stage in Australian sport — Snoop Dogg is coming to the MCG for the Telstra Pre-Game Entertainment, and we're ready to make history.'
