Sir Tom Jones cancels show at last minute after contracting infection
Posting the news on his Instagram account, Sir Tom said: 'Hello to all the fans in Bremen. Unfortunately, I must postpone my show this evening, as I've contracted an upper respiratory infection that needs treatment and rest.
'I know this is really disappointing and will cause inconvenience to you all, and I'm very sorry about that.
'But the show will now go ahead on Monday 28th July, so I look forward to seeing you then.
'All tickets will remain valid for the re-scheduled date. Until then, thank you for your understanding. Love, Tom.'
The comment section was full of messages from fans, wishing the singer a speedy recovery.
Sir Tom is midway through is UK and Europe summer tour which began on June 13 at Hampton Court Palace in Surrey with concerts scheduled in Dundee, Marbella, and Colchester.

The tour is due to end in Wales with two performances scheduled at Cardiff Castle at the end of August.
The Grammy-award winning artist was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006 and is also the recipient of the 2003 Outstanding Contribution to Music Brit Award and the Silver Clef Lifetime achievement Award in 2014.
Sir Tom is also a voice coach on the singing competition series The Voice UK alongside Will.i.am, McFly's joint judges Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones and former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland who is set to join the coaching line-up for the 2025 series.

The podcast, which is co-hosted by Travis' older brother and former NFL star Jason Kelce, has played a pivotal role over the last two years giving rare insight into the relationship between the Kansas City Chiefs star and the 'Anti-Hero' singer. Kelce has attempted to strike a balance between keeping information about their A-list romance under wraps, while also acknowledging a major part of his life. As time has gone on, Kelce has felt more comfortable sharing details of his love life and all-things Swift, with the happy couple roaring past two years of the first time their names were connected. How it all started During a July 2023 episode, a single Kelce talked about Swift's 'Eras Tour' concert at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, which he attended. Kelce did not interact with Swift at the concert and mentioned on 'New Heights' how he wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. It's safe to say Swift got it not too soon after the shoutout from Kelce, with their romance beginning a short time after. That led to Swift's first appearance in a luxury suite for one of Kelce's games in September 2023, sat next to Donna Kelce, Jason and Travis' mother. The hard launch The final episode in September 2023 did not veer from re-capping each brother's gridiron game from the previous weekend. The Chiefs victory over the Bears drew massive interest due to Swift's appearance, with Kelce speaking about his new relationship for the first time. 'Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up,' Kelce said. It was the first instance of Jason bringing up his brother's girlfriend, with Jason known to be just as bombastic as Travis. The elder Kelce mentioned how Swift liked a social-media post about Travis becoming the fastest tight end in NFL history to reach 11,000 yards. 'Thanks Tay,' Travis replied. 'I appreciate you on the Chiefs page supporting the Yeti.' Globe-trotting tight end Travis went to his second 'Eras Tour' concert in November 2023, where he was just off the stage with Scott Swift, Taylor's dad, enjoying the music. It was the same concert where Swift changed the lyrics of one of her most-famous songs, 'Karma', to show love to her man. Kelce said, adding he knows someone with the same lucky number. Jason interjected that 13 used to be his favorite number and he wore it as a hockey player. The brothers also recapped the concert with Travis getting on stage to perform with Swift as a backup dancer during 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart'. 'It's cool to come over to London and support her and have a few beers while she absolutely killed it on stage,' Travis added. Here comes Sandler In August 2024, Travis' 'Happy Gilmore 2' co-star Adam Sandler was a guest on the podcast, with the world-famous actor bringing up Swift. 'By the way, what a girl,' Sandler said. 'Best performer out here,' Kelce replied. Sandler admitted his daughters were huge fans of Swift, with Kelce making sure the actor knew the respect was mutual. Recapping a New York trip Last September, the Kelce brothers talked about a few Swift-relayed topics, including releasing the episode on the day of MTV's Video Music Awards, with the ceremony on Long Island. 'Hopefully, Taylor can walk away with a few. She's nominated for about 10 of those things tonight,' Travis said. 'Hopefully, she can walk away with some Moonmen. Those are always one of the cooler trophies.' Kelce also mentioned his trip to the US Open with Swift with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, with the former being Travis' teammate. The final mention of that episode came when talking about Jason's debut, post-retirement, as an analyst for ESPN, where he had a wardrobe issue, mainly with the 't***' of his dress shirt. During an episode from this January, Travis revealed that Swift listens to 'New Heights' every week. Harry and Meghan have given the streaming giant first options on their output from Archewell Productions. Here is what to expect from the couple on Netflix in the coming months: – With Love, Meghan – Season 2 The second instalment of Meghan's lifestyle show will debut later in August. Netflix said: 'Meghan returns with a fun and heartwarming new season, welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists, and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery.' It promises 'playful cooking challenges' and 'DIY projects', adding: 'Meghan and her guests explore bold flavours, experiment with new techniques, and discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life.' The show, Netflix says, is 'all about embracing playfulness over perfection and finding joy in creating together'. Season one was not, however, well received by critics and the show has a 3.2 rating out of 10 on – With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration The special holiday episode of With Love, Meghan will air in December. Netflix invites viewers to 'join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration'. No date has been announced for the project – news of which first emerged two years ago. The story deals with mental health, postnatal depression and childhood trauma over losing a parent in a car crash, with some of the themes said to have similarities with Harry and Meghan's own experience. – Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within The new documentary short, by Campfire Studios in Association with Wontanara Productions and Archewell Productions, will focus on a tiny orphanage in Uganda which was borne out of the HIV/Aids crisis. Harry and Meghan are listed among the producers and the documentary will be released later this year. The duke only recently stepped down from Sentebale, the charity he founded nearly 20 years ago to help children orphaned by Aids in Lesotho, following a boardroom battle with its chairwoman. It is not known whether Harry and Meghan will feature in the documentary. – Future projects Archewell Productions says it is 'in active development on additional projects with Netflix that span a variety of content genres'. The Sussexes' contract has been described as a 'multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects'.
