In an interview with Fariddon Shahryar, the actor shared that he did the film just because he wanted to work with Tamil star Suriya. Bobby called the latter "a great actor."
In the movie, Deol played the role of the antagonist named Udhiran. In the same interview, addressing the low performance of the film at the box office, he said, "What can you do when the script doesn't work out? Sometimes I just want to be happy while shooting for a film."
The 'Animal' star concluded, saying that he wants to do projects because he is an actor and so that he "can grow."
