Two males wanted for road rage incident in Mount Forest
Two persons of interest in a road rage incident in Mount Forest on Aug. 8. (Source: OPP) Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public's help to identify two males who were involved in a violent road rage incident in Mount Forest. They said the physical confrontation happened on Main Street at around 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 8. The victim's injuries were described as minor. The other people involved in the incident fled before officers arrived on scene. On Monday, police shared photos of two people of interest, as well as one of the vehicles involved. The first suspect was described as an East Indian male, with tanned skin, short black hair, and an average build. He was wearing a white sleeveless shift, grey pants and black shoes. The second suspect was also an East Indian male, with tanned skin, short black hair, and an average build. He was wearing a dark-coloured shirt, black pants, a ball cap and white shoes. Human remains found on Bruce Peninsula
An investigation is underway in a remote area of the Bruce Peninsula after human remains were found. According to police, officers were notified on Aug. 14 that remains were found by archaeologists working in the area. The remains have since been collected and taken for further analysis. Police said the case has been deemed a coroner's investigation and remains ongoing under the direction of the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OFPS), with support from the Grey Bruce OPP Crime Unit. Police did a search of the surrounding area and no additional remains were found.

Elderly woman killed in Highway 1 crash near Chilliwack, B.C.: police
An elderly woman has died following a single-vehicle crash that shut down Highway 1 in Chilliwack, B.C., for much of Sunday, according to B.C. Highway Patrol. Police say the crash happened around 12:50 p.m. PT on Sunday, when a grey Ford Focus travelling eastbound approaching Prest Road veered off the highway and rolled into a ditch. The driver, a 74-year-old woman from Agassiz was the lone occupant of the vehicle, police said. She died at the scene. "At this early stage of the investigation, there are no indications of overt criminality," Cpl. Michael McLaughlin with B.C. Highway Patrol said in a statement Monday morning.
