Report – Inter Milan Vying For Talented Parma & Valencia Center-Backs To Reinforce Defensive Line But Must Sell First
Inter Milan have taken a concrete interest in Parma youngster Giovanni Leoni and Valencia starlet Cristhian Mosquera.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, sporting director Piero Ausilio has recently accelerated talks for the latter.

Giovanni Leoni is Inter's long-term target.
However, the idea gained momentum after the club appointed Cristian Chivu as Simone Inzaghi's heir.
Indeed, the 2010 treble winner established the 18-year-old as a first-team regular at Parma last season.
Therefore, a reunion is seemingly on the cards.

In addition to Leoni, the San Siro giants are working on luring Cristhian Mosquera to Serie A.
The 20-year-old's contract at Estadio de Mestalla runs out next summer.
With renewal talks hitting a stalemate, Inter have spotted a window of opportunity and could soon seize it.

As such, Ausilio has already struck a 'verbal agreement' with the Spanish prospect and may soon open discussions with Valencia.
Mosquera won't come cheap, considering Los Che could ask for up to €20 million to sanction the deal.
However, Inter must sell first.
Therefore, they're bracing themselves for offers for Yann Bisseck, while Francesco Acerbi could also make room.

CBS Sports grades Texas A&M HC Bucky McMillan's 2025 roster
CBS Sports grades Texas A&M HC Bucky McMillan's 2025 roster Texas A&M's best coaching move in several years came this spring, as Athletic Director Trev Alberts took a gamble that has already paid off after hiring former Samford head coach Bucky McMillan to take over the basketball program after Buzz Williams departed for Maryland after six years at the helm. So far, McMillan has completely rebuilt his first 2025 roster, adding 12 players from the transfer portal, while his latest addition, Spanish guard Rubèn Domíguez, could be one of the most impactful players due to his vast international experience and elite 3-point shooting skillset. However, signing former Indiana forward Mackenzie Mgbako, shooting guard Rylan Griffen and Creighton transfer guard Pop Issacs deserved the headlines as potential stars who should lead the Aggies in several categories next season. With all this movement that has made a once-fringe NCAA Tournament team a potential contender during McMillan's inaugural season, CBS Sports's David Cobb provided his roster grades for every first-year head coach, and to no surprise, Texas A&M received an A- based on the talent and experience on the 2025 roster. Here's what Dodd had to say regarding his grade: "How would McMillan fare recruiting at a big-boy job after arriving from Samford with exactly zero high-major experience of any sort on his resume? The answer, as it turns out, is just fine. The Aggies have assembled a competitive roster highlighted by three top-80 transfers and plenty of outside shooting. Pop Isaacs (Creighton/Texas Tech) and Jacari Lane (North Alabama) are serious bucket-getters in the backcourt, while Rylan Griffen (Kansas/Alabama) and Mackenzie Mgbako (Indiana) can pop it from the wing." "The question will be whether the roster is deep enough for McMillan to employ the breakneck pace and deep rotation that defines "Buckyball." But his first wave is certainly not hurting for SEC-caliber talent, and the early June addition of 22-year old Spanish shooter Ruben Dominguez helps alleviate that concern." Ahead of his first season with Maryland, Buzz Williams' 2025 roster received a B+, while new Texas coach Arch Miller received the same grade. Dodd is 100% correct in questioning if A&M's roster is deep enough to master McMillan's intense system, but the shooting is there, and he still has two roster spots available to reach the 15-player roster maximum. Defensive Carousel – Valencia & Parma Stars Picked To Replace Two Outgoing Inter Milan Center-Backs
Francesco Acerbi and Yann Bisseck could make way for Giovanni Leoni and Cristhian Mosquera at Stadio San Siro. According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, Inter Milan could make several defensive changes this summer. Advertisement Yann Bisseck could be the subject of a big-money move to the Premier League. Indeed, Manchester United and West Ham United have set their sights on the German star. Meanwhile, Inter could terminate Acerbi's contract in the coming weeks. Though his deal runs out next summer, the Nerazzurri are considering activating a termination clause. If that's the case, they'll add at least two new defenders to Cristian Chivu's squad. Advertisement Despite the 20-year-old's expiring contract, Valencia won't let him for less than €20 million. Therefore, Bisseck's sale is the first prerequisite for the Nerazzurri to launch a concrete bid for the Spaniard. Meanwhile, Giovanni Leoni fits the club's new transfer policy and would be one for the future. At 18, he's one of the hottest Serie A prospects but still lacks experience on the grandest stage. However, he worked with Chivu at Ennio Tardini, meaning the new Inter boss has firsthand insight into his potential.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Italian giants have already identified four potential replacements for the German. Despite his rise to prominence at San Siro, the 24-year-old could fall victim to Inter's need for cash. Indeed, his sale may pour around €40 million into the club's bank accounts, allowing Cristian Chivu to reinforce his squad.
