Loxley man accused of sexually abusing 2 girls: BCSO

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Loxley man was arrested Wednesday and is accused of sexually abusing a child less than 12 years old.
Baldwin County Sheriff's Office officials said they received a report of child sex abuse involving a 9-year-old girl. Further investigation identified another victim, a 10-year-old girl, and a juvenile witness.

Both victims told investigators the abuse occurred over the last two years.
Richard Larry Teal, 55, of Loxley, was identified as the suspect.
BCSO investigators interviewed Teal on Wednesday, and he was arrested and accused of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old. He was then taken to the Robertsdale Jail. He was booked into the Baldwin County Jail Thursday morning.
Although Teal has the same name as Loxley Mayor Richard Teal, we want to make clear that this is not the same person.

According to the sheriff's office, additional charges and counts are pending presentation to the Baldwin County Grand Jury.

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Two Decatur men accused of child sex crimes were arrested after a child predator operation took place. On April 26, 2024, authorities conducted an operation focused on Child Sex Trafficking. The purpose of the operation was to identify, investigate, and arrest predators seeking children for sexual acts. During the operation, investigators arrested Corey DeWayne Wynn, 50 of Decatur and Daytron Shawntrell Tolliver, 38, of Decatur. Wynn and Tolliver were both charged with Electronic Solicitation of a Child, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act. MCSO said the charges stem from the incident that took place in April. The Morgan County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division, Morgan County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit, Morgan County District Attorney's Office, US Army Cyber Special Agents and Limestone County Sheriff's Office all assisted during the investigation. Additionally, The Morgan County Sheriff's Fugitive Unit executed Grand Jury Arrests warrants for Human Trafficking for both men. The driver and a passenger had to be cut out of the vehicle by Mobile Fire-Rescue and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.' A spokesperson said speed could have been a factor as they continue to investigate. MOBILE, Ala (WKRG) – Two people are hurt after an SUV crashes in downtown Mobile before dawn Sunday morning. A vehicle crashed into two utility poles and a lamp post Sunday morning at the intersection of Church and South Lawrence Streets. DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A child is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Harrison Township. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the area of Marlay Road and Briar Place on reports of a child struck by a vehicle. The call came in around 7:45 p.m. Kettering Health resumes normal operations: Update Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 6-year-old child with serious injuries. Witnesses on scene told authorities the child emerged from behind a stopped vehicle and ran into the path of a vehicle traveling west on Marlay Road.
