Tennis legend Andre Agassi visits popular local restaurant ahead of 2025 Cincinnati Open

A world-renowned tennis player recently visited a popular Queen City restaurant. Andre Agassi, a three-time Cincinnati Open champion and a 1996 Olympic gold medalist, stopped at The Precinct by Jeff Ruby on Saturday, Aug. 2, according to a tweet/X post from the local restaurateur. Ruby posted a photo of Agassi, a former world No. 1 in men's singles, along with an unnamed employee of the restaurant, writing, "Thank you ⁦[Andre Agassi] for once again dining at The Precinct when you visit Cincinnati. Your graciousness and kindness is appreciated by our entire restaurant team." The reason for Agassi's Cincinnati visit remains unknown. However, the 2025 Cincinnati Open is slated to kick off on Tuesday, Aug. 5, with the main draw running Aug. 7-18. Although he is not competing in the Cincinnati Open, Agassi may be in town to attend the two-week tournament, which features some of the world's top tennis talent. Last year, Agassi participated in an exhibition doubles match with John Isner. The duo faced off against Andy Roddick and Tommy Paul during Community Day at the Cincinnati Open. Agassi also attended the Cincinnati Open's 125th Anniversary Gala last year at Music Hall. Tournament organizers have yet to announce whether Agassi will be participating in another exhibition match or any other events.
