In a post on X, he said after India's worst-ever defeat in May confrontation and global embarrassment over tariffs, the US has declared India-sponsored BLA and Majeed Brigade as global terrorist organizations thanks to the efforts of the field marshal.
"If only Pakistan had a democratic leader like the field marshal. There was no such leader before, there isn't one today, and none can be seen in the future," he added.

Pakistan blocks over 500 terrorist-linked social media accounts
The Government of Pakistan has blocked over 850 social media accounts linked to banned militant groups after reporting them on different platforms in a nationwide crackdown. The accounts, allegedly linked to proscribed groups such as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) — all banned by the United Nations, United States and the United Kingdom as well — had a combined following of over two million. The newly formed National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) coordinated the action, reporting accounts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Telegram and WhatsApp. Read: New Pak-US front against terror trains sights on BLA, TTP Federal IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja secured direct cooperation from Telegram officials as well despite the app being banned in Pakistan. The government has also appealed for international cooperation to prevent extremist propaganda online. Facebook and TikTok acted on over 90% of the removal requests, while X and WhatsApp showed 30% compliance. Officials warned that while mainstream Pakistani media remains free of extremist content, militant groups are still using online platforms for recruitment and incitement. Islamabad urged global platforms to permanently block terrorist-linked accounts, deploy AI-based removal systems, and maintain direct contact with Pakistani authorities.

India and China eye border trade resumption
NEW DELHI: India and China are discussing resuming border trade five years after it was halted, foreign ministry officials on both sides have said, as US tariffs disrupt the global trade order. Past trade across the icy and high-altitude Himalayan border passes between the neighbours was usually small in volume, but any resumption is significant for its symbolism. The two major economic powers have long competed for strategic influence across South Asia. But caught in global trade and geopolitical turbulence triggered by US President Donald Trump's tariff regime, the countries have moved to mend ties. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is expected for talks in New Delhi on Monday, according to Indian media, after his counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar visited Beijing in July. LAHORE: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar said on Wednesday that Pakistan is making rapid progress and will achieve greater strength, prosperity and dignity in the international community. Under the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's leadership and guidance, his team is working diligently to advance quickly on economic, diplomatic and developmental fronts, Ishaq Dar said while talking to the media after inaugurating the 982nd Urs of Hazrat Ali Hajveri, known as Data Ganj Bakhsh. He added that Pakistan's focus must remain on effectively managing its affairs and journey of moving forward. He added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is fully focused on economic development. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan and Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin were also present on the occasion. Dar maintained that, by the grace of Allah Almighty, the journey of progress will continue until the country emerges as a strong fortress of Islam on the world map. He stated that development is a long process but stressed that Pakistan's progress has already begun. He expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty for bestowing honour upon Pakistan and guiding it toward economic stability and diplomatic success. Regarding counter-terrorism, he revealed that on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted an extensive dialogue with a high-level US delegation comprising two dozen officials from both countries. He said Islamabad had been providing Washington with irrefutable evidence for the last year that the Majeed Brigade is part of the BLA and was involved in the Jaffar Express attack.
