Hunt for cattle rustlers after calves stolen from WA farm
The two calves are believed to have been stolen between August 14 and August 17 from a property on Porongurup Road, Porongurup.
Mt Barker office-in-charge Sgt. David Swaine said the abscence of the two calves was noticed and reported to police on August 17.
He said the calves belonged to a small hobby farm in Porongorup.
'We're just seeking information from the public in relation (to the calves),' Sgt Swaine said.
'They can't exactly just sit on the back of a ute, it's going to be a truck or a trailer or some sort of vehicle that would have had to remove the animals.'
It is not known how much the calves are worth or what type of cross breed they are.
