A man visited what he said has been dubbed as the "worst seaside town in the UK", and he couldn't believe it's located in Wales. Zac Jones, from Liverpool, recently travelled to the area to see what it was like after discovering it had been labelled as one of the worst seaside spots in the country.
He shared a video of his experience on TikTok, as he wanted to see if the rating was a bit "harsh", and he quickly made a few discoveries. In a previous article, the Telegraph listed the town as "one of the worst" to visit if you like relaxing by the beach, and he wanted to see if he agreed.
Zac admitted his first impression wasn't actually that bad, as he looked at what shops and restaurants were around. He then went onto explore the delights Rhyl has to offer a little more.
In the clip exploring Rhyl, Zac said: "I mean, there's not an awful lot of people here. Let's see some of the prices in The Piazza. The big brunch will be £6.95. Cod, chips, peas, bread and butter - £8.80, and we have a Wetherspoon.
"Honestly, I think it's quite nice here to be honest, maybe it's just because the sun's out. I mean at least there's a nice building."
When he asked a passerby what the best part about Rhyl is, he replied: "The weather." Maybe that's one thing people are keen to celebrate.

However, not long after this, disaster struck, and Zac added: "I take it back - everything nice I said about this place." As he walked along the street, he stepped in dog muck, which seemed to hinder his experience a little.
Zac continued: "Well I think Rhyl, for me, gets an 'it's ok'. The best thing about Rhyl, in my opinion, is the beach and the coast. It's beautiful."
Since the video was shared, it's been viewed over 1,000 times, and people were quick to comment and share their thoughts about Rhyl. Some people had a lot to say.
One quipped: "Best thing about Rhyl is the way out." Another added: "Such a shame. Used to be so good."
A third replied: "Spent many holidays there as a child, as it was all we could afford. It's not always about the location - it's about making memories as best you can."

Some people had different ideas though, as a fourth commented: "That's harsh. Although the town centre isn't up to to much, there is plenty going on further down the prom at Kite Surf Cafe and the other end - The Bike Hub and Harbour Hwb.
"Marine Lake is brilliant for crabbing and walks, runs and sunsets. The people of Rhyl are some of the kindest most down to earth people."
Someone else also wrote: "I haven't been there since I was a kid. Is it the worst place in the UK? It looks nicer than Blackpool by a long shot, apart from the dog muck. That's unfortunate."

Kerry Katona compares herself to Britney Spears after sharing fears for singer
Celebs Go Dating star Kerry Katona was told she looked like Britney Spears during an Instagram live and compared herself to the legendary pop singer Kerry Katona compared herself to Britney Spears during an Instagram Live on Saturday afternoon. The Celebs Go Dating star, 44, has just jetted off abroad with her children for her family holiday, and gave fans a glimpse into her luxury getaway, Opting for a pink two-piece, Kerry lay down on a sofa and while one fan claimed she resembled former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, another told her she looked like pop star Britney. In response, Kerry said: "I look like Britney Spears? Am I acting like her as well? I used to get called the British version of Britney Spears." As fans of the pop megastar will know, Britney regained control of her multimillion dollar fortune and various aspects of her life when a conservatorship that had been governed by her immediate family was terminated in November 2021. Since then, she has admitted that she has no plans to return to the music industry but has become known for sharing her sultry snaps to her millions of Instagram followers. It comes after pictures emerged of inside Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's luxurious £30k family holiday at 'second home'. READ MORE: Kerry Katona 'moves in with new boyfriend' just months after Celebs Go Dating romance Kerry, who shot to fame around the same time as Britney, 43, when she joined the girl group Atomic Kitten in the late 1990s, has previously been vocal about the Baby One More Time songstress. She noted in her new! magazine column: "I think it's awful what's going on with Britney Spears. I wish we wouldn't make people like her fall further after what they've been through. Saying that, she is quite erratic and it's hard to tell what is actually going on. I think she is really struggling." Just months later, Britney went viral when she danced around with knives on Instagram, and Kerry shared her concern for the pop legend then, as she said: "The Instagram videos she's been posting recently are worrying, especially as she did one dancing with knives last month. I'm not one to judge, but it is concerning. I see all these conspiracy theories on TikTok and they make me wonder if it's the real Britney in these videos." Prior to that, Kerry, who has famously made more than £1 million through her profile on OnlyFans, previously suggested to Britney that she should join her in selling her racy snaps on the adults-only platform rather than giving them away for free on social media. Meanwhile, Kerry, who is mother to Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, with former Westlife star Brian McFadden, Max, 18, and 17-year-old Heidi with Mark Croft as well as daughter DJ, eight, with the late George Kay, also told her fans of the calamity that ensued once she arrived in the foreign location and was temporarily locked out. She said: "So, gets in the car, gets to the apartment. got no key. I have got no bloody key! What time did we get here, Heidi, about 1? We've just got here and we can have a bloody barbecue!" What's more, the TV favourite also seemed to have forgotten to sort out a hire car for herself, so was left without the inability to stock up on food so had to rely on takeaway delivery services. She added: "I've got no car because I'm a n**head. I am a n**, that's what I am. "So I've done JustEats because we're all exhausted. There's [a little bit] of sun left on the balcony, and our Heidi has took it. So now, I've got to stand in t'bloody shade. But it is really, really nice here. I'm not showing anyone the views or anything though." For Kerry, the family getaway comes just months after she split from former fiance Ryan Mahoney. In an effort to move on from Ryan, Kerry has stepped back out into the dating pool as has grown close to personal trainer Paolo Margaglione. She signed up to Celebs Go Dating in an effort to find her perfect match. However, it seemed the pair may have faced some bumps in the road already after snaps of the pair in Ibiza seemed to show them in a tense exchange. A source claimed that, while they're totally 'smitten' with each other, Kerry is nervous about putting yet another relationship in the public eye. 'Kerry is being very cautious with this romance,' they told the Mirror. 'She has been very wary about going public with Paolo and it impacting their relationship. "She's been down the route of high-profile, public relationships before and she doesn't want anything to ruin things this time.' Kerry and father-of-two Paolo, 33, are thought to have met during the new series of Celebs Go Dating. However, Kerry has remained resolutely tight-lipped on her new relationship. The source added: 'Kerry's worries have caused some tense moments as she doesn't want any exterior drama getting in the way. "But Paolo isn't overthinking it – he's just really happy to be with her. He doesn't see the problem and is telling her not to worry, they're great together and should just enjoy what they've got.'

Frankie Bridge shows off her incredible abs in bikini after cryptic post
Loose Women star Frankie Bridge looked sensational as she shared a series of bikini snaps from her family holiday in the Maldives after she posted a cryptic TikTok Frankie Bridge has been turning heads with her toned abs in a series of snaps from her Maldives holiday, following a mysterious TikTok post. The 36 year old Loose Women panellist took to Instagram on Friday to share some sizzling bikini photos from her family trip to the tropical paradise. Despite rumours of a feud sparked by her recent TikTok post, the devoted mum-of-two seemed unfazed as she flaunted her fit physique. Frankie looked stunning as she showcased her well-toned body in a Triangle bikini, which she tagged in the photo carousel. The former pop star appeared tanned and joyful as she giggled during the beachside photoshoot. It comes after Katie Price reaches out to Harvey's lookalike half-brother but fears 'he's too scared'. Currently, Frankie is soaking up the sun on holiday with her husband Wayne and their two sons - Parker and Carter. Taking to TikTok, the Loose Women panellist made a cryptic dig at an unknown person, seemingly suggesting she was holding a grudge. Over the video of herself holding and sipping on a glass of wine, she wrote: "You're so quiet… Thanks, you said something five years ago and I've just realised you're actually dead to me." In the caption on the actual post, she simply wrote: "Takes me a while, but once you're dead you're dead." She didn't reference who or what she was talking about in the TikTok, which had the song What The Hell - sung by Avril Lavigne - over the top of the short clip. Frankie is currently in the Maldives with her husband and their two children - Parker, 11, and Carter, nine. They took their trip to Siyam World in the Maldives alongside Wayne's friend, football coach Luke Hampton, who was also celebrating his birthday, as well as Frankie's friend, Leah Meredith, who works with her brand Faves. As well as being a panellist on Loose Women, Frankie has been open about feeling like an "awful parent" due to hating her pregnancies. The former The Saturdays singer shares two children with her husband, Wayne Bridge, and admits pregnancy wasn't "for her". In a candid admission early this year, the 36-year-old revealed that while she can't see herself falling pregnant again any time soon, she doesn't want her husband to have a v asectomy in case their marriage were to break down and he'd find love with another woman. A vasectomy cuts or blocks the tube that carries sperm, preventing men from being able to have children. But while Wayne won't be having "the snip" any time soon, the All Fired Up singer won't be giving her sons, Parker, 11, Carter, nine, and Wayne's son Jaydon, 18, from a previous relationship, any siblings. "I always wanted more than two and then once I had one, I knew I wanted a second one," she said. Frankie went on to explain that she "hated" being pregnant. She explained that she was always feelings sick and put on weight, meaning she no longer "felt like herself." In a candid admission, she stated it was a "means to an end," saying she got a lovely baby at the end. Throughout her pregnancies, Frankie suffered from Hyperemesis gravidarum. The condition has symptoms including bad nausea and vomiting, which can happen multiple times per day. While most vomiting in pregnancy stops around weeks 12 to 20, it can continue for other women. Speaking to The Sun, Frankie continued: "It's constant sickness, you feel that you're supposed to be giving your baby all these nutrients, but you literally can't eat. "I already had a two-year-old at the time, so I felt like I was an awful parent. I couldn't bear the smell of another human — it would make me sick." Frankie and Wayne tied the knot in 2014, and in recent years, she has slammed the "double standards" she has faced from cruel online bullies. She explained that while she is often trolled for working away or taking time away, Wayne never receives messages for doing the same thing. Wayne encouraged her to take a holiday with friends after she suffered a series of illnesses which became difficult to "ignore," meaning her "mental health plummeted".

I need £90k or me & my kids'll be evicted & I'm begging strangers to help -I may be deluded, but what choice do I have?
A MUM has claimed that she needs to raise £90,000 or she and her children will be evicted from their home. Single mum Rhiannon says she has 806 days to make the mammoth sum, and is asking strangers on the internet for their help. 2 2 Taking to TikTok, Rhiannon admitted that her plan does seem "delusional" and "far fetched". "But I feel like if I don't even try to raise the money then I'm letting my boys down", she said. The mum does not give further details as to why she believes she will be evicted Rhiannon's plan is to post a TikTok video every day until September 1st 2027, when the 806 days is up.
