Ante Palaversa in X-rated Aberdeen celebration as BBC forced to abandon interview

The Croat couldn't hide his joy on air after the Hampden triumph
There were wild scenes at full-time after Aberdeen stunned Celtic - and Ante Palaversa couldn't help but get caught up in the celebrations.
Jimmy Thelin ended 35 years of Scottish Cup pain as he led the Dons to a famous Hampden victory over the Premiership champions in a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

Dimitar Mitov was the hero after denying Alistair Johnston and Callum McGregor from 12 yards to claim the trophy - but the Red Army were not shy in dishing out adulation to their heroes.

After Graeme Shinnie had lifted the silverware, the captain and his teammates took the famous old trophy on a tour of the Hampden turf while being interviewed about the achievement.
In the wake of stunning Celtic, Alasdair Lamont quizzed 25-year-old Palaversa: "How does it feel to have won the Scottish Cup?"
The delighted Don live on air: "This is f****** amazing. This is f****** history..."
Lamont quickly interjected to cut off the Croatian: "I think I will have to stop there - but you can tell that Ante Palaversa is a happy man."

Jesurun Rak Sakyi to Rangers 'very close' after Russell Martin nod as 49ers debunk Celtic transfer theory

A winger is on the Ibrox shopping list after an initial approach to Crystal Palace Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is "very close" to joining Rangers this summer. ‌ That is according to Ross McCormack - who detected a clear giveaway from Russell Martin as he offered his take on the 22-year-old. ‌ Reports on Thursday suggested the Glasgow giants made the first move to sign the forward with a loan bid tabled that included a stunning £10million buy option. ‌ And while the first bid was turned down by the Premier League side, it appears the Premiership side remain in the race for the England U-21 international after Martin addressed speculation linking him with the Palace man. The Ibrox boss admitted that he was a fan of the attacker - along with his recruitment team - and had previously attempted to sign Rak-Sakyi while at Southampton. And former Light Blues' striker McCormack said: "The fact that he has actually spoke about this player suggest that there is something to be done. "He has even gone as far as saying his recruitment team like him - he could have just left it at him, but to bring the recruitment team into it is a bit of a statement as well. "I wouldn't be surprised if this is very, very close to happening. I'm sure I said earlier in the summer with how the 49ers work at Leeds, you didn't hear of any players coming in or any players going out - then boom, there was a signing that came out of nowhere. "So, that is the way they work. Russell could have batted that question away, but the fact that he talks about the player suggests it could be quite imminent." ‌ A figure of at least £10million will likely be forked out should a deal for Rak-Sakyi get over the line. And it could clamp one theory from Celtic hero Paul Lambert that their city rivals can't spent mega money this summer. ‌ Discussing the possibility of Rangers "spending fortunes" with Hoops' diehard Alan Brazil on talkSPORT, the former Parkhead skipper said : 'Well, they can't. That's the thing, they can't really. "Everybody knows the problem that has happened in the last number of years there, so they can't go and spend what everybody thinks they can spend. 'What they have to do is try to close the gap on Celtic, which is going to be really difficult. But Russell going in, who I know really well. "You are going to have a two-horse race; it happens every year, and it will be nip and tuck along the way. 'Then, from an ex-Celtic point of view, I hope the lads go and do it again.'
