In a candid interview, the filmmakers clarified that casting Sneha wasn't a deliberate choice to find someone resembling Aishwarya. This came at a time when Salman and Aishwarya were rumoured to have been in a relationship just before the film's release.
Unintentional Comparisons: Acknowledging the Resemblance
Talking to Hindi Rush, the filmmakers were asked about Sneha Ullal's striking resemblance to Aishwarya Rai and whether her casting was a deliberate strategy. They explained, 'It wasn't a strategy. We wanted to cast a newcomer, and Arpita (Khan, Salman's sister) mentioned a very pretty girl from her college and suggested we audition her. The role was of a schoolgirl whose parents worked in an embassy, and she needed to have the vibe of someone who had lived in Europe. Sneha fit the role perfectly.'
The filmmakers acknowledged that they gradually realized how the narrative was unfolding, but stressed that they never saw the resemblance as something to be overly focused on, especially when comparing anyone to someone as beautiful as Aishwarya Rai. Radhika added, 'We'd occasionally notice the resemblance during shooting, but so many people resemble others. We never felt it was that striking, but when the campaign began and people started pointing it out, that's when we took notice. It would be untrue to say we didn't think about it, but it wasn't a big deal. Honestly, being compared to Aishwarya is a compliment!'

Sneha Ullal has previously mentioned that the focus on her appearance was largely driven by publicists. She clarified that she was always comfortable in her own skin and that the comparisons didn't affect her. According to Sneha, the way her image was portrayed by the PR team amplified the comparison, making it a bigger issue than it might have been otherwise.

Saanand Verma recalls Amitabh Bachchan being rude to him: ‘Pehle toh aise kar rahe the jaise janam janam ka rishta hai'
Actor Saanand Verma has worked in several films like Mardaani, Chhichhore, Raid and others. However, he is best known for his comic role in the television show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! However, the actor revealed that the superstar behaved coldly during their second meeting for an ad shoot and said, "The second time I met him to shoot an advertisement, he was very rude. After completing the shoot, I went and told him, 'I consider myself very fortunate to be able to work with you twice.' But he didn't even look at me, he kept staring at a painting and said, 'Bhagwan kare aapko tisbara mile' (May God give you a third chance also).' Saanand went on to say that no one is really friends in the industry and further agreed with Paresh Rawal's statement that people are only colleagues in the business. Saanand started his acting journey with the television show Lapataganj and made his Bollywood debut with Rani Mukerji's film Mardaani. He followed it up with appearances in several successful shows like CID, F.I.R., and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! and films like Raid, Chhichhore, and Mission Raniganj, among others. He was most recently seen in the film Vijay 69, which also featured Anupam Kher, Chunky Panday, and Mihir Ahuja in key roles. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the movie Vettaiyan. He will next be seen in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD sequel. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan and is scheduled to go on floors in December this year.

Actor Saanand Verma known for playing Saxena in the popular show 'Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai' had once done a shoot for 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' with Amitabh Bachchan . He also got the opportunity to work with the legendary actor for a commercial shoot again. In a recent interview, he revealed that he's also interacted with many other stars like Jeetendra, but the only time he felt that superstar aura was when he shot with Bachchan. He recalled how contradictory both his meetings were with the superstar. He revealed that during their first encounter, he chatted with Big B for three hours and he was so nice to him. Verma said in an interview with Hindi Rush, "Mujhe unka aura feel hua when I first met him. Second time mila toh woh rude the kaafi. Pehli baar mila toh lagaa Abhishek Bachchan main hi hu.
