Sucess Story: Bihar Farmer's Son Clears UGC NET For Fourth Consecutive Time
Success Story: Pankaj Kumar Sah passed the UGC-NET exam for the fourth consecutive time while working. He is set to become a professor soon.
If you approach any task with genuine hard work and dedication, you may initially face struggles, but success is guaranteed. This is exemplified by the story of Pankaj Kumar Sah from Dhamdaha Chandrahi, Purnia, Bihar who endured many challenges to achieve his dream and ultimately succeeded.
Pankaj Kumar Sah, the son of Yogendra Prasad Sah, a farmer from Chandrahi Ward No. 15 in Dhamdaha, Purnia district, balanced his studies while assisting his father in farming. He passed the UGC-NET exam for the fourth consecutive time while working. He is set to become a professor soon.
Pankaj expressed pride in rising from humble beginnings to passing a national-level exam. An acquaintance informed him of the results, and upon checking, he discovered he had been selected for the Assistant Professor position. He cleared the exam first in June 2020, then in 2023, again in June 2024, and now for the fourth time in June 2025.
He currently works in the General Administration Department and aims to become a professor soon. Pankaj mentioned that while he serves people through his role in the General Administration Department, he aspires to fulfil his dream by contributing to the education sector.
Pankaj revealed that he effectively used his spare time for studying. His daily bus commute of 1 hour for over 30 kilometres to his workplace was dedicated to studying. He continued his studies at home at night after return from office. He also helped his father with farming.
He advised young people that no exam is too big and that nothing is greater than a human being. With hard work, success can be easily attained.
Meanwhile, Nilufa Yasmin, a resident of Palita Road area in Katwa, Purba Burdwan, West Bengal has secured rank 1 in the UGC NET JRF 2025. She achieved a perfect 100 percentile score in the exam. She has been focused on her studies from the beginning, consistently achieving good results in school, college, and at the postgraduate level. Her love for teaching made her pursue it as a career goal. With that aim, she began preparing for the UGC NET and JRF exams.

Following these requests, 5,930 students were successfully upgraded to a higher preference. Candidates who received allotments in this round must accept their seats and complete the fee payment process by August 7. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the allocated seat. Colleges are currently handling the document verification and fee submission processes. Mid-Entry Window From August 8 To 10 DU will release a list of vacant seats on August 8, which will kick off the Mid-Entry window for new applicants and previously rejected candidates. This window opens at 5 PM on August 8 and closes at 4:59 PM on August 10. The Mid-Entry provision allows: Candidates who missed the initial CSAS application. Applicants who did not complete Phase 2. Students whose applications were rejected due to document issues or subject mapping errors. Such candidates can re-enter the admission process by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 and correcting their application during the window. Final Phase Of UG Admissions After the Mid-Entry phase, the next seat allocation list will be released on August 13. This round will include candidates from performance-based courses such as Music, BFA, and Physical Education, as well as CW (Children of War Widows), ECA, Sports, and Ward quota applicants. The first list for these quotas will be published on August 15, and the entire admission process will conclude on August 19. No new admissions will be accepted beyond this date. Train coaches uncouple near Karnatakas Shivamogga, major accident averted
Karnataka, Aug 6 (PTI) A major accident was averted near the Shivamogga railway station after six coaches of the Talaguppa-Mysuru Intercity Express got uncoupled and came to a halt on the Tunga river bridge on Wednesday evening. The train, comprising 16 coaches, had departed from Talaguppa and was en route to Mysuru when the incident occurred, railway authorities said. Just a short distance from the Shivamogga station, six coaches detached from the rest of the train due to a technical fault.
