Strictly judge Anton du Beke 'drops spoilers' as he admits 'can I say that'

Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke was quick to issue an apology after dropping a Celebrity Gogglebox "spoiler".
The former professional dancer, 58, is set to appear on the celebrity spin-off of Channel 4's hit show, which launched in 2013, alongside fellow Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood.
Ahead of his show debut tonight (June 20), Anton appeared on Friday's episode of This Morning alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
Anton started off by saying, 'Gogglebox tonight with Craig Revel Horwood.' Alison seemed excited about the duo's upcoming appearance, replying, 'Brilliant. That's going to be great.'
The Strictly Judge couldn't help but drop a "spoiler" as he revealed: 'Can I say this out loud? We had to talk about Love Island for a bit. We watched a bit of Love Island. Can I say that? Is that a spoiler?'

Alison claimed, 'You probably did, and you're probably going to get in trouble for this.' Anton jumped in: "I'm probably going to get in trouble. Apologies to Channel 4,' Alison joked. 'Thank you for the exclusive.'
Anton continued: 'We had a little bit of that (Love Island) and other stuff.' Dermot was keen to know which house the stars decided to film in.
However, in another behind-the-scenes "secret," Anton admitted: 'Oh, right, no, we went to a place. I thought…'
Before he could finish his sentence, Alison replied: 'So you had a pretend one (house).' Anton confirmed: 'Yeah.' Everyone burst out laughing as Dermot ended the segment by doing an impression of the Gogglebox narrator.'

The star-studded spin-off will see Anton and Craig share their hilarious reactions to the week's biggest telly moments from their sofas.
The pair has worked together for more than twenty years. They joined the dancing show at its launch in 2004 and worked alongside each other during the dance circuit before that.
They'll make their debut on Celebrity Gogglebox, alongside recent newcomer Vernon Kay, who is married to fellow Strictly lifer Tess Daly.
Anton gushed: 'I'm super excited to be swapping the judges' chair for a comfy sofa! Sitting down with my dear friend and fellow Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood to enjoy a bit of telly on this new series of Gogglebox.'
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVX and Celebrity Gogglebox airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4

In an episode of the ITV show, which aired back in 2022, two players lost their place in the competition after getting it wrong. Host Lee Mack, 56, returned to our screens to present the beloved show and see if anyone could answer the 1% question. But before they got to that stage, some struggled to answer one of the questions very early on in the episode. Lee said: 'We are at the 45% stage. Let's see the question... 'If you turn this image 90 degrees clockwise, how many arrows are pointing to the right? Your 30 seconds starts now.' The contestants were then shown a selection of blue arrows that were all going in different directions. Trying to amuse the players while wracking their brains, Lee said: 'This is like when my nan used to try and do a three-point turn.' The live audience saw the funny side of the gag and burst into laughter. After the 30 seconds was completed, Lee said: 'Okay, your time is up. Let's see who got the question right!' Only two got the answer incorrect, meaning that 18 players were still in the game at that point. Lee said: 'Let's have a look at the answer. It's two! As it's a 90 degree clockwise turn, you needed to find the arrows that were pointing up that would then be pointing to the right.' He then went to some of the audience members who got it right, including Georgia Massey. She confessed: 'I used my pass, honestly I got so, so confused. 'I went to pass then I was like no I'll try again and then I panicked... I've got to be in it so...'
