Golden State Warriors jersey history - No. 20 - Larry Hughes (2000-02)
Founded in 1946 during the Basketball Association of America (BAA -- a precursor league of the NBA) era, the team has called home the cities of Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, and even San Diego.
To commemorate the players who wore those numbers, Warriors Wire is covering the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. For this article, we begin with the 19th of 29 players who wore the No. 20 jersey for the Warriors.
That player would be Golden State wing alum Larry Hughes. After ending his college career at St. Louis, Hughes was picked up with the eighth overall selection of the 1998 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.
The St. Louis native was dealt to the Dubs in his second season, early in 2000. His stay with the team would span parts of three seasons, coming to an end when he signed with the Washington Wizards in 2002.
During his time suiting up for the Warriors, Hughes wore only jersey No. 20 and put up 15.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.7 assists per game.

That same conclusion was made by Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley, who expects the Johnson deal to be viewed as one of the best of 2025 by this time next summer. Buckley explained that this move was simply a perfect way to add some help for Jokic and company without truly sacrificing anything major. Although Johnson might not be a step up from Porter in counting stats, what Johnson provides on both ends should easily make up for any decrease in numbers from the starting forward spot.

Luka Dončić injury update: Lakers superstar hurt in Eurobasket play
Los Angeles Lakers superstar guard Luka Dončić suffered an injury during Saturday's Eurobasket exhibition game for the Slovenian national team against Latvia. However, NBA insider Marc Stein indicated that it's not believed to be serious. Stein reported that Dončić was diagnosed with a right knee contusion, which shouldn't affect his availability for the 2025 NBA season. Luka Doncic suffers injury scare during Slovenian exhibition game, reportedly avoids anything serious
This is what NBA teams fear when their best players suit up for their country. Luka Doncic had an injury scare while playing for Slovenia in a tune-up game for EuroBasket when teammate Gregor Hrovat fell into Doncic's knee. Luka Doncic's teammate fell into him and the Lakers star appeared to injure his knee. Doncic asked out of the game and went back to the Slovenia locker room. Doncic limped back to the locker room but has avoided serious injury, reports Dan Woike of The Athletic. Doncic did not return to the game, however, he did return to the bench to watch the end of the exhibition against Latvia. We'll see what the diagnosis is once the doctors do more tests (LCL sprain?). Doncic impressed in the first half, scoring 26 points with five assists and five boards.
