PUNTERS have been left devastated after a hugely popular cocktail bar announced it would be closing down for good.
The Barologist in Edinburgh has been mixing up drinks for years for thirsty customers in Leith.

But the trendy boozer is set to be no more after bosses announced it will be closing down.
They revealed they would be shutting up shop in weeks, announcing their final day will be on May 17.
A message was posted to their official social media thanking those who had visited over the years.
Their statement on Facebook read: "After many wonderful years, The Barologist in Leith will close its doors on 17.05.2025.
"It's been an incredible journey serving the people of Leith and the wider Edinburgh community — thank you for all the memories, support, and good times!"
And punters were quick to respond to the bad news, thanking them for their service over the years.
One said: "Thank you all for making me feel like one of the family. I wish you all the best for the next chapter in their working life.
"You are all fantastic and I will miss you."
A second person replied: "It'll not be the same without you."
Another wrote: "I'm totally gutted."

But it wasn't all bad news for the cocktail bar, as they announced a new one would be opening up down south.
The bar's owners announced a new Barologist will be opening up in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
And they will still be stopping around the country as they take their drinks on tour.
Their post continued: "We're thrilled to announce that a brand new Barologist is opening in Harrogate!
"Stay tuned to see our journey as we take on a new venue.
"You can still catch us on the move with The Barologist on Tour, bringing our cocktails to events and venues across the country."

Magdalena Sadlo, nicknamed Barbie, helped transport hundreds of kilos of cocaine across the world for a major cartel based in the Middle East. Carlisle Crown Court heard that Sadlo, of Bracknell, Berkshire, was brought in as a financial director for the smuggling ring. Their operation was so slick that some investigators compared it to Amazon. She helped organise the shipment of cocaine, ketamine and cannabis to Holland and then on to Britain. Prosecuting, Tim Evans told how the international cartel could not have operated at the level it did without Sadlo's "efficiency". He said: "She not only manages the profits, costs and expenses but also manages the stock levels. "She updates who has taken what, at what cost, from what batch and the profit margins involved. "She is very much part of the inner circle… and is operating and seated at the very highest of tables. "She clearly knew the scale and seriousness of the trade she was engaging in. "No organised crime group working at this level could operate or function without Magdalena Sadlo, or an equivalent, performing this role." While based in the UK, she operated as a drugs courier, often collecting cocaine as it was imported into the port of Harwich in Essex. Drugs experts believe she moved 300kg of cocaine across seven trips, including 33kg of cocaine to Greater Manchester on one date alone. Love Island star, 29, caught smuggling COCAINE on flight from Dubai as part of £53MILLION drug ring The drugs were stored in safe houses in the Manchester area before being distributed to dealers over several months using BMWs. She then helped launder the proceeds by investing in designer clothes and luxury watches including a £130,000 Patek Philippe and a £30,000 Rolex. Detectives held Sadlo when she landed at Heathrow Airport on February 13 last year, having flown Emirates first class from Dubai. She was caught carrying luxury watches, bracelets and rings, and a 'crime CV' boasting her business acumen and qualifications. Encrypted texts on her phones revealed her "Barbie" nickname. In one message, she quipped: 'The devil works hard, but Barbie works harder.' Finally sentencing her to 14 years yesterday, Judge Nicholas Barker said that Sadlo was "central" to the organisation. He added: "I conclude there was gain and reward and in some way considerable to you. "You are an intelligent woman and well understand risk and reward. "I find you acted with real enthusiasm and sought to impress those at top." Thirteen members of the gang have already been jailed for up to 20 years each.

When he was 12 years old, he took on his first challenge: building a tiny home on wheels. Inspired by other DIY renovations on YouTube, Luke set about saving up. Over several months, Luke, from Iowa, raised £1,100 ($1,500) to pay for the materials needed for the build. Luke's local community chipped in by donating materials, and he swapped services for help with building. His dad helped him draw up plans and construct the house, while his mum assisted with the interior design. The tiny home is connected to electricity, and inside, Luke has fit a working stove, mini-fridge, a sofa with a drop-down table, and a loft bed. He even built a deck at the front using reclaimed materials. In total, the tiny home took the teenager a year and a half to complete. Luke, now a paramedic, said: 'The tiny house was always meant to be a space to have friends over and to entertain people.' And that's exactly what he did one Thanksgiving when he hosted his family in the space. We bought 2 shipping containers for $5,500 each and built our 'dream' tiny home - a key method helped us save even more Luke said: 'We had everything a normal Thanksgiving dinner would have. My family of five plus our dog all fit." Luke's build was such a success that at 14 years old, his twin brother, Cole asked him to build a 36-square-foot mini camper to go along with the tiny house. The camper is less than half the size of the tiny house and portable, so it was built in a different way to withstand high speeds in transportation. Since building it, the camper has been on more than 50 trips across the country, mainly used in the summer when the weather is fine. 'It houses everything you need to cook - we even have a gas propane stove," Luke explained in another video. "It's obviously not a full kitchen but it has everything you need in this sliding drawer under the camper.
