Vijay Deverakonda Admits Not Spending ‘Enough Time With GF' Amid Rashmika Dating Buzz
Vijay Deverakonda has been rumoured to be dating Rashmika Mandanna for a while now. While both actors have been tight-lipped about their relationship, the Arjun Reddy star has opened up about not spending enough time with his girlfriend and how he regrets it now, and is working towards changing that habit.
During a conversation with Cinema Vikatan, Vijay Deverakonda got candid and spoke about not being able to spend enough time with his close ones. He said, 'Relationships come above everything. I have been growing up over the last two years. I have learned to live life also. Before that, I was not like this. The last 2–3 years, I didn't like how my life went. I didn't spend enough time with my mum, dad, my girlfriend, and friends."
'Suddenly, one day, I realised. I didn't want to have such a feeling. Now… I make efforts to make time for my people. I make time for my friends, I make time for my mum and dad, for my relationships," he added.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have worked together in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam and the 2019 film Dear Comrade. Their dating rumours have been floating on the internet for many years now; however, neither of them has confirmed or denied them.
Last year, Vijay and Rashmika's trip to the Maldives fuelled speculation about a possible marriage announcement. It was also reported that the two actors would soon exchange rings. However, the Liger actor later clarified that he was neither getting engaged nor getting married.
On the professional front, Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Sikandar opposite Salman Khan. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is now streaming on Netflix. She is currently filming Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana, set for a Diwali 2025 release, and will return as Srivalli in Pushpa 3. She also stars in Cocktail 2, The Girlfriend, Rainbow, and Ek Saath Do Do.
Vijay Deverakonda, meanwhile, is prepping for Kingdom, a spy thriller hitting theatres on July 31. He also has SVC 59 with Ravi Kiran Kola and VD14, a period action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan.
