BEST OF FIVE Floyd Mayweather reveals he only had FIVE 'tough' fights in entire career as Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez snubbed
FLOYD MAYWEATHER can count on one hand the amount of tough fights he had during his legendary career.
Mayweather officially retired in 2017 at 50-0 - a record that is yet to be matched - with world titles in FIVE different weights.

Up until his final bout - against UFC star Conor McGregor - the American beat 15 champions in a row.
But he named Emanuel Augustus - who famously adopted the Drunken Master technique - as one of his toughest fights.
Mayweather beat Augustus in 2000 but credited the unorthodox showboater as one of his hardest opponents alongside Miguel Cotto.
He told FightHype in 2013: 'I probably had six tough fights, if that, probably five tough fights.

"Cotto was a tough fight, Emmanuel Augustus was tough, Cotto you know he was tough.
"[I can name] those two that I can name off the top of my head, probably a few other fights but we got through it.'
Augustus would act drunk during fights, prancing awkwardly around the ring to try and throw off his opponents.
And even Mayweather struggled to cope with Augustus' unusual style in their bout - which he won on points.

Augustus finished his 78-fight career with 38 wins, 34 defeats and six draws - losing his last six bouts before his 2011 retirement.
Cotto meanwhile is a four-division world champion who faced Mayweather for the WBA light-middleweight title in 2012.

Mayweather came up from welterweight to win over 12 rounds - but he was bloodied from the nose due to Cotto's effective roughouse tactics.
Cotto retired in 2017 after an iconic career just months after Mayweather's final bout.
Mayweather - who beat Canelo Alvarez in 2013 - left the sport as the richest boxer of all time - boasting of earnings over £1BILLION.
Around half of that were made for his pair of wins over Manny Pacquiao and McGregor.

The Pacquiao fight was over five years in the making and resulted in Mayweather outfoxing his great rival over the distance.

And he told The Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast: "The best fighter I ever fought, probably was Manny Pacquiao. Because of his movement.
"But he's a helluva' fighter and I can see why he won so many fights and I can see why he's going down as a Hall of Famer, it's just certain moves that he made.
"But the roughest fighter probably was a guy named Emanuel Augustus. The Drunken Master. He was tough.
"And Miguel Cotto was very, very physically strong. So, you've got different fighters, different days you feel different ways.

"So some days you can go over there and you may not feel that good but you go over there and feel superb."
Mayweather - snubbing McGregor from any list of tough fights - continues to box in exhibition bouts after retiring.
His last came in August 2024 against the grandson of notorious New York crime boss John Gotti.

Emma Raducanu makes short work of opening win at Queen's

The 22-year-old, who secured a first doubles victory with partner Katie Boulter on Monday, revealed before the tournament – the first time Queen's has hosted women's tennis in 52 years – that she was still managing ongoing back issues, playing down expectations for this WTA 500 event, boasting a £1million prize pot. But wild card Raducanu was in fine form on Tuesday afternoon on centre court – the day before inaugurated as the Andy Murray Arena – where she dispatched Bucsa in just one hour and four minutes, much to the delight of the home crowd who were behind the 2021 US Open champion the whole way. 'I must say I was quite locked in today,' Raducanu said on court. 'I'm very pleased with my performance. I was a little bit nervous for sure at the beginning, it's my first time playing on this court at Queen's in London, and the support is incredible. 'I'm still trying to find my groove on this surface, there are certain shots that I feel like I am a little bit late on, so I'm working on that. 'I knew today was going to be a very difficult match. I actually lost to Cristina earlier on in the year, so I was really trying to fight and make sure that didn't happen again. 'I was really trying to fight and get myself into the second round, because I just want to stay here playing at Queen's as many matches as I possibly can.' This was Raducanu's first appearance on the west London venue's marquee stage after making her Queen's debut on the smaller Court One on Monday with British number one Boulter. The latter also punched her ticket to the second round but in much grittier fashion, battling to a 7-6 (4) 1-6 6-4 victory over Australian qualifier Ajla Tomljanovic. 'When I walked out it actually surpassed what I thought it would feel like when I kind of imagined it,' said Boulter, adding: 'I think it's very easy to get caught up in just trying to get your first grass court match, also coming to such an historic venue as well, which holds a lot of purpose and a lot of familiar feelings when I've come here before.' Earlier, Heather Watson set up a second-round meeting with fourth seed and former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina after upsetting world number 27 Yulia Putintseva, 107 places above her in the rankings, 6-4 6-3. Former British number one Watson won all four of her break points to see off her Kazakh opponent in an hour and 22 minutes. It was not to be for British wildcard Fran Jones, however, who was defeated in straight 6-2 6-4 sets by American McCartney Kessler, while the other all-British pair in the doubles draw, Kartel and Jodie Burrage, were knocked out in a nervy 7-6 (8) 7-6 (1) defeat to Lyudmyla Kichenok and Erin Routliffe.

US Open food and drink prices confirmed as fans fume at eye-watering costs

The US Open gets underway on Thursday, with Rory McIlroy bidding to win his second major of the year, but supporters' attention has been drawn to the price of the menu in Pennsylvania Golf fans have been left flabbergasted after the food and drink prices for the US Open were revealed. The third major of the year tees off on Thursday, with Rory McIlroy gunning for his second win of the year. McIlroy finally completed the career Grand Slam by triumphing in the Masters at Augusta back in April. The Northern Irishman will face competition from American Bryson DeChambeau, who is looking to retain his US Open title. ‌ A third man in the running is Scottie Scheffler, who won the PGA Championship in May and will tee off as the bookies' favourite in Pennsylvania. Upwards of 200,000 people expected to attend the event at Oakmont Country Club. ‌ And supporters have been left furious after the course's food and drinks menu was released. A Philly cheesesteak is the heftiest meal on the menu - costing $13.95 (£10.33) - while crisps are $3.49 (£2.58). A single Corona will cost $11.95 (£8.85), while even a bottle of water is $4.95 (£3.66). An 'All Beef Hotdog' will set fans back $7.59 (£5.63), while an 'Asiago Turkey Sandwich' will cost $12.25 (£9.08). The most expensive drink on the menu is also the 'Official Cocktail of the US Open' - a canned lemon wedge by Dewar's. That will cost $13.95 (10.34), the saw as a Black Cherry Seltzer. What really astonished fans though was the price of a banana, which will cost $1.95 (£1.44). One fumed: "$1.98 for a banana??? I'm taking my business elsewhere!" Another said: "$1.95 for a banana is outrageous." While a third added: "Menu prices seem disconnected from the average attendee's budget." ‌ A fourth raged: "$7.50 for a hot dog is ridiculous especially when they ran out yesterday. During the Monday practice round. Good luck this weekend." It's far cry from Augusta National and the Masters where patrons are still able to tuck into food and drink for very reasonable prices. Fans walking the famous course in Georgia were able to get a sandwich from as cheap as $1.50, while a beer was priced at just $6. McIlroy was victorious at Augusta, but has admitted being concerned about his form after missing the cut at the Canadian Open. The world No.2 shot a dismal second-round 78 last Friday, with McIlroy admitting he is struggling to turn things around. 'Of course it concerns me. You don't want to shoot high scores like the one I did today,' McIlroy said on the PGA website. 'I felt like I came here with a new driver thinking that was going to be good and solve some of the problems off the tee, but it didn't. 'Going to Oakmont next week, what you need to do more than anything else there is hit fairways. Still searching for the missing piece off the tee. When I get that part of the game clicking, then everything falls into place for me. Right now that isn't.'

The 22-year-old midfielder failed to keep his emotions in check following the full-time whistle as England lost to an African nation for the first time. Substitute Bellingham had a goal controversially disallowed for a handball by Levi Colwill, after the ball had hit the Chelsea star high on the arm in the 83rd minute. The debatable decision late in the game left England stars and Tuchel fuming, as Colwill didn't appear to deliberately touch the ball. Regardless, England didn't do enough to win and were lucky that the match was a friendly, with Tuchel still undefeated in the World Cup qualifiers. But Bellingham was so frustrated that he kicked the ball into the air as referee Stephanie Frappart blew the whistle at the City Ground. The Real Madrid star then kicked a water cooler before chasing after the assistant referee. The former Bundesliga ace wasn't the only one irritated with the decision, with captain Harry Kane hinting that the officials "didn't know the rules". Tuchel also confronted Frappart and her team of officials in the middle of the pitch at full-time. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS Bellingham, however, quickly appeared to calm down and heartwarmingly gifted his shirt to a young fan on the pitch. But the talented midfielder does have history of taking his frustrations out on objects after defeats. He memorably kicked the VAR monitor in frustration after Real Madrid's last-gasp defeat.
