West Ham continue their pre-season preparations as they take on Everton in their second game of their US tour at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.
Graham Potter's Hammers lost 2-1 to Manchester United at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey last time out, with Bruno Fernandes netting a brace and Jarrod Bowen getting on the scoresheet.
Now, they face an Everton side that is in the middle of a rebuild under David Moyes, having signed highly-rated striker Thierno Barry from Villarreal, as well as left-back Adam Aznou from Bayern Munich.
Moyes remarked after the Toffees' 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth in their first game of the Premier League Summer Series that his side needed 'five or six' more players before he would be content with his crop.

Everton sent Tyler Dibling transfer counter proposal and 'prepare' £21m bid for midfielder

It looks like David Moyes was right. Speaking after Everton rounded-off their participation in the Premier League Summer Series with a spirited and entertaining 2-2 draw with his former club Manchester United, the Scot hinted at what was to come this week. The Blues boss said: "I think there will be deals. I think we're getting much closer. But I've got to say, I thought that four or five weeks ago as well. Obviously, we're getting near the tickly bit, and we've got to get some things on.' It has since transpired that Everton, who have made four signings so far this summer but need to make at least double that amount before the transfer window closes on September 1, are closing in on Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and are attempting to sign Southampton winger Tyler Dibling. READ MORE: Everton confirm date for Hill Dickinson Stadium tours as supporters set for behind-the-scenes look READ MORE: Everton coach outlines major David Moyes change as honest verdict shared on new £27m transfer The latest on those two players dominate our latest transfer round-up but there is also a new name thrown into the mix as the Blues' summer recruitment ramps up. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall deal agreed The headline news: Everton have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. It is our understanding that the fee is closer to the £25m mark than £30m but it is a still a significant transfer for the Blues and one that David Moyes had first chased in January. The 26-year-old remained at Stamford Bridge, however, and he went on to appear in Chelsea's victories in the Europa Conference League and Club World Cup finals. But it now appears Moyes is close to getting his man with journalist Fabrizio Romano stating that Dewsbury-Hall will undergo a medical at Everton on Tuesday (July 5). Tyler Dibling counter offer A right winger remains a top target for the Blues. Their efforts to bring one in has not been for the want of trying. Francisco Conceicao made the permanent move to Juventus, Johan Bakayoko joined RB Leipzig, Real Sociedad gave no indication they were willing to sell Takefusa Kubo, while it appears that while Malick Fofana would be open to leaving Lyon, he would prefer to sign for a club who will be playing in the Champions League next season. Enter Tyler Dibling. The Blues have made multiple bids for the 19-year-old with the latest reportedly being in the region of £40m. However, Southampton are proving to be tough negotiators. That said, it does seem they are willing to continue to talk. The Athletic report that the Saints, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, have made a counter proposal after knocking back Everton's latest offer. It is said that Southampton would accept an upfront £45m fee plus £5m in 'easily achievable' add ons plus a 25 per cent sell-on cause. The report adds that is beyond what the Blues would be prepared to pay for Dibling and that they have informed the Saints they are now looking at other targets. Dion Lopy £21m bid 'prepared' One of those other targets isn't a winger, though. Well, not according to Fichajes. Instead, they say Everton are preparing a £21m offer for another centre-midfielder - namely Dion Lopy of Almeria. The report states the Blues want to strengthen their engine room options "with a physical profile, with range and ball-winning ability, and the young African fits perfectly into that plan." The 23-year-old, who is a Senegal international team-mate of Idrissa Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye, was one of the best players for Almeria last season. But after failing to win promotion to La Liga, they could be susceptible to a big bid.

Iliman Ndiaye makes honest Everton admission after signal of intent - 'I expect a lot'

While the spotlight is focused firmly on who Everton will sign next, in Atlanta on Sunday night came a timely reminder about a player already on the club's books who is ready to take the next step. Iliman Ndiaye was simply superb in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It was his brilliantly taken left-footed volley that drew the Blues level and it was his powerful run - that Bruno Fernandes attempted to end with a desperately poor challenge - that led to their second and final equaliser. Much talk before and after the final match in the Premier League Summer Series had centred on United's new mega-money signings, the £62.5m Matheus Cunha and the £71m Bryan Mbeumo. Indeed, after finishing as Everton's nine-goal top scorer in his first full season in the Premier League, the Senegalese looked all the world a player on the cusp of kicking on. "The goal I scored gives me good confidence," said Ndiaye, who finished his debut campaign with the Blues with 11 goals in all competition, which included a brace in the final men's first-team game at Goodison Park. "'m not usually one who wants to score too many goals in pre-season, but now it feels good to be able to help the team get a result. "Obviously, on a personal note, it's always nice to score goals and put the work in, so it felt good. "I wouldn't say I put pressure (on myself), but I expect a lot from myself. I want to score a lot of goals and assists, which, as I always say, is what an attacking player should do. "You want to do those things to help the team win – and that's what everyone expects from me." While Everton finished winless in the Premier League Summer Series, it was still a trip to remember off the field while on it, the well-deserved draw with Man United eased the disappointment of losing 2-1 to West Ham United and 3-0 to Bournemouth. Ndiaye said: "I think overall it was a pleasing result. Obviously, we started the tournament not very well and today we needed to change that and put on a good performance for ourselves and the fans." The Blues were well backed in Atlanta and Chicago and New Jersey before that and Ndiaye, speaking to evertontv, added: "It makes me really proud. When I first came, I didn't know Everton fans were like this all over the world. "So coming here and seeing how many fans we have, how they support the team, how loud they've been in the stadium - everyone's heard it. So, yes, it's amazing." The Blues have now returned to the UK and on Saturday they play their final friendly of the summer before their Premier League campaign kicks-off at Leeds United on August 18 - and it's a big one. Everton face Italian giants Roma - who are also owned by The Friedkin Group - in the third and final test event at the club's new Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off). The match, which is a sell-out, is followed immediately by a 'Legends' game featuring former players from both clubs.

The 17,000-capacity Plaza is set to become a vital hub for fans to gather before and after games. To enhance convenience, Budweiser Brewing Group will install state-of-the-art fast pour systems and frictionless self-service kiosks throughout the stadium. These features aim to cut waiting times, allowing fans to enjoy food and drink with minimal delay. Angus Kinnear, CEO of Everton, said: "To have a globally recognised brand like Budweiser and a company like Budweiser Brewing Group as a Founding Partner of Hill Dickinson Stadium is a huge statement of intent. "Budweiser shares our passion for sport, innovation and world-class experiences – we are thrilled to be working with them to deliver something truly special for Evertonians." Brian Perkins, BU President of AB InBev Europe West, added: "This partnership with Everton represents a powerful alignment of shared values: passion for the game, innovation, and creating world-class fan experiences. "We look forward to helping shape the next chapter of matchday culture on Merseyside and deepening our connection with football fans across the UK and beyond." Budweiser joins a growing list of major brands committing to Everton's future at the new stadium. Others include technical partner Castore, catering provider Aramark, and timekeeping partner Christopher Ward. The club's Official Soft Drinks Partner is expected to be announced soon. The club confirmed on Tuesday that supporters are now able to book tours of the new stadium. The Blues are in action at their new stadium on Saturday against AS Roma, before they take on Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on August 24.
