Mariah The Scientist x Kali Uchis Are a Dreamy Duo on "Is It a Crime"
Mariah The Scientisthas been busy gearing up for the release of her fourth studio album,HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY. After making a grand return to the scene with 'Burning Blue,' the songstress has now shared the album's second pre-release single, which marks her first-ever collaboration withKali Uchis.
Entitled 'Is It a Crime,' the track transpires as a long-overdue link-up between the two R&B pioneers. Clocking in at just over three minutes, Mariah kicks it off with the first verse and chorus before handing it off to Uchis, the two proving an effortless sonic synergy.
Though we don't have a music video quite yet, based on Mariah's recent Instagram posts, it appears we can expect one in due time.
WhileHEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY's tracklist hasn't been set in stone yet, we do know that the LP will have 10 tracks, 'Is It A Crime' and 'Burning Blue' landing as tracks four and five, respectively.

'I Was So Mad': Mariah Carey Opens Up About Brighton Pride Wardrobe Malfunction
Mariah Carey has admitted she had to think on her feet during her recent headlining performance at Brighton Pride. Over the weekend, the Always Be My Baby singer closed the show at one of the UK's biggest Pride celebrations, and while fans seemed pretty over the moon with the music legend's performance, she's revealed that it didn't exactly go off without a hitch. Speaking to Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Wednesday's edition of Heart Breakfast, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter shared: 'It was a lot of rehearsing [before the show] and then we had a wardrobe malfunction, which was kind of not cool. It was right in the front area.' 'I saved it, nobody saw it,' she continued. 'Otherwise, it would've been talked about. I turned around and walked through the dancers. I was so mad.' During her set, Mariah performed a string of her hits from across her career, including Emotions, We Belong Together, Hero and Fantasy, as well as newer cuts, Type Dangerous and Sugar Sweet, the latter of which received its live debut in Brighton.
