Boots' 'gorgeous' perfume that 'lasts all day' reduced to £10
Boots has reduced a "gorgeous" perfume that shoppers say "lasts all day" to £10. The discount is part of the retailer's weekly £10 Tuesday event, which sees prices dropped on many items for one day only.
The Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy Eau de Parfum 30ml has been discounted to £10, down from £28. The perfume features top notes of black cherry, framboise and plum, with middle notes of freesia, night orchid and iris, while the base notes are amber, musk and vanilla.
The Boots product description reads: "This fragrance is a sophisticated twist on the original Britney Spears Fantasy fragrance. Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy leaves a warm and sexy trail of intrigue."
Alternatively, shoppers can snap up other fragrances from a range of retailers. Argos stocks the Dolce & Gabbana The One for Women Eau de Parfum 50ml for £56, down from £84, while Superdrug has Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau de Toilette 50ml for £34, down from £70. Carolina Herrera Good Girl Eau de Parfum 30ml is currently £53.60 (down from £67 ) at LookFantastic.
The Britney Spears perfume has an overall rating of 4.6 stars online, having racked up rave reviews from impressed shoppers. Among the many reviews, one person said: "Gorgeous and long lasting smell for any age type. Recommend."
A second wrote: "Great smelling perfume, scent lasts all day will purchase again." A third added: "It's a very good perfume. It has a really nice and heavenly scent to it and lasts quite long."
However, some shoppers claimed the fragrance didn't last very long, with one person writing: "This smells lovely but only lasts about an hour - very disappointed but I suppose you get what you pay for."
Another said: "This product has a lovely scent however may not last for more than four hours so for those looking for a strong scent this may not be the scent to go for."
Despite this, many continued to praise the fragrance. One shopper said: "I've recently rediscovered this after a long time, as it was a staple fragrance in my teen years. Smells just how I remember it. Fruity and sweet. It last for ages, especially when sprayed on clothes."

There's currently only one review of the perfume on the site, saying: 'I received and sampled and love it that much I brought the full size.' However at Boots one shopper praised: 'Not only do I love how great this scent smells, the bottle is so cute that I had to have it as a collector item. The scent is sweeter, richer and has more depth than the regular Fame. Think more fall, evening and seductive. Great purchase that you won't regret!' And another agreed: 'This is really high quality perfume. It lasts all day and a little goes a long way. The vanilla and floral notes really come through, making it perfect for everyday or special occasions.' Others were less impressed, saying: 'This smelled okay. I probably would not purchase it for a high price point but I might wear it out to dinner on occasion. It smells nice, with a slight vanilla scent that wears off rather quickly.' Another said: 'This perfume was overall just okay. Over the course of a few hours I started to feel like just a powdery hand soap as the vanilla scent fades. It does last long and it smells good but not something I would choose to wear.' The second big Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive is out now and a few retailers are offering deals that include it with the console. While the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 was a massive commercial success, the new console has been a hard sell for anyone who isn't interested in Mario Kart World. Beyond that, the only other first party game was the hugely disappointing Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, with the rest of the launch line-up consisting almost entirely of third party ports. However, this week marks the launch of the next big Switch 2 exclusive, with Donkey Kong Bananza, which means now is the perfect opportunity to invest in a Switch 2 if you haven't already. Nintendo is offering a bundle that includes both the console and a digital copy of the game for £454.98, though this doesn't save you any money and costs as much as buying the console and game separately. There's also an option to include the game with the Mario Kart World bundle for £488.98, but you're really only saving money on Mario Kart World, since it normally costs £66.99 digitally. Currys has a slightly better offer. While it has run out of Switch 2 consoles on their own, it still has the Mario Kart World bundle in stock, and you have the option to add a physical copy of Donkey Kong Bananza for £55.24, over £10 less than Nintendo's usual £66.99 asking price. This makeshift bundle is still very pricey though, since it comes to £485.23. But since it includes Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, you are getting everything you need for the best Switch 2 experience. Argos is also offering the exact same deal on its own website, as well as one for just the standard Switch 2 (so no Mario Kart World) that costs £451.23. These offers are ever so slightly cheaper than Very's, which is selling the Switch 2 console, Mario Kart World, and Donkey Kong Bananza for a total of £496. Not only does Nintendo's own website have stock back in, so do retailers like Amazon, where you can buy the Switch 2 on its own or the Mario Kart World bundle, and then throw in Donkey Kong Bananza for £64.95. Boots shoppers get 'so many compliments' when wearing £33 perfume worth £94

Many customers have loved that it gets "so many compliments" whenever they wear it and say it has an "expensive" scent. The Calvin Klein Euphoria for Women, usually priced at £94 for a 100ml bottle, is now available at Boots for a mere £33 – offering customers a saving of over £60. Boots describes the scent as embodying "sensual femininity". The retailer adds: "Drawing inspiration from the delicate curves of an orchid in bloom, this floral fragrance is a nod to this feminine flower and is housed in a silver metal and purple glass bottle." According to Boots, the fragrance's key note is the "captivating essence of black orchid", complemented by the 'gentle softness' of lotus blossom and violet. These floral notes are blended with 'fruity' layers of pomegranate and persimmon for "a juicy allure". Shoppers get a "velvety richness that lingers on the skin" from the added effect of cream accord and mahogany. For those looking to indulge in a treat or find a thoughtful present, there are plenty of perfume deals currently available. Superdrug is selling Ghost Orb of Night at a reduced price of £36 (down from £44), and The Perfume Shop is offering Gucci Rush for just £34.99, significantly less than the usual £79, reports the Mirror. However, it's the Calvin Klein deal at Boots that has got shoppers buzzing with excitement. One customer said: "Calvin Klein's Euphoria is my favourite perfume. I have never smelt a perfume that smells so amazing and stays put for the day! I can spray loads, and it doesn't smell overpowering. I'd definitely recommend it to any ladies out there looking for a new perfume to try. It's definitely value for money!" Another added: "My fiancé bought this for me, and it's fab. I know perfumes can vary in smell and how long they last from person to person, but I struggle to find a long-lasting fragrance, and this one is great. So many people have complimented me on it!" A third wrote: "This glorious perfume has a long-lasting scent. I am often asked what I am wearing as it is so refreshing and light. It is a fabulous new find for me." Meanwhile, another reviewer described it as an "elegant" bottle perfume that "smells like it should cost much more" and another added: "Perfect for evening wear or cooler weather, it has good lasting power without being overpowering. A modern, feminine scent that gets compliments!" But, not every shopper was impressed with their purchase. One shopper complained: "I am a bit disappointed with the longevity of the scent. It doesn't last very long on the body or clothes, which makes it a bit inconvenient." Another said: "I understand that everybody has personal preference for fragrances but I dislike it so much. It is way too sweet and every single time I tried to use it ended up in a migraine!" And, another critic asked: "What has happened to this Euphoria perfume? It has no lasting scent. It used to be an intense perfume with a lovely lasting smell - now it smells cheap!" However, the majority of reviews were overwhelmingly positive. Another customer shared: "A mature scent. It lasts a long time and the packaging is very classy! I use it for formal occasions or for occasions that I want to smell more mysterious." One more reviewer declared: "Can't resist it's aroma.. People can detect you even before you enter the area."
