'Arrogant neighbour keeps blocking my drive so I got revenge while he was on a date'

A man who grew sick and tired of his arrogant neighbour constantly parking in front of his driveway decided to take revenge - and he quickly realised he'd ruined his date in the process
A man has been praised for his clever revenge on a neighbour who repeatedly blocked his driveway "one too many times". He described his neighbour as an "arrogant six-foot something hulk" in his mid-20s who believes rules don't apply to him.
He alleges the neighbour consistently parks his car in front of his driveway, leaving little space for him to get in or out at will, "despite numerous warnings, notes and face-to-face 'mate, seriously, stop' chats". In a post on Reddit, he continued: "His excuse?'I'm just here for a bit.' A bit apparently translates to an eternity... 3 to 5 hours every blooming time.

"Last week, I come home and surprise. He's there again. Blocking my driveway with his shabby silver Sedan. I see him through his window getting ready, cologne and all. He's going out. I decide, tonight's the night."

In a bid for revenge, he says he did "something he should have done weeks ago" and rang a tow truck to haul away the vehicle. His revenge turned out even sweeter than anticipated. He added: "No warnings or, notes. Got it towed straight up.
"About 45 minutes later, I'm sitting on my porch enjoying a beer when a random lass walks up the pavement. Clearly dressed for a date.
"She knocks on his door, he comes out grinning, then clocks his car is gone. She's puzzled. He's losing it. He starts looking around like someone's nicked his stuff.
"I casually say, 'If you're looking for your car, it got towed. You were blocking my driveway. Again.'".
"He tries to argue but the girl just says, 'Wait, you parked in front of his driveway?' He tries to explain, but she just says, 'Wow. That's trash,' and walks off.

"I haven't seen him block my driveway since, and he never called another girl home after that. His confidence took a major hit."
In the comments of his post, reactions were mixed with one user chipping in: "He blocked you, you blocked him. Fair is fair."
While others rallied in support, another chimed in: "You saved her so much time realising he's a piece of garbage."

The payback was sweet: "I told him he would now have to wait 45 minutes to leave (about how long he parked in my driveway) as I was busy right now. He got all annoyed and yes, I did make him wait the full 45 minutes."
