Sydney Sweeney is selling her literal bath water to rabid fans in ‘gross' new ad

Now that's dirty.
Sydney Sweeney is taking a page out of Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi's playbook, repurposing her bath water for rabid fans.
The actress, 27, previously stripped down and took a dip in a bubble bath for soap brand Dr. Squatch, promoting the brand's Natural Body Wash. Now, she's taking the eco-friendly route, with the company packaging the same suds from the ad into a brand new product.
Called Bathwater Bliss, the limited-edition bar soap is formulated with exfoliating sand and pine bark extract as well as a splash of Sweeney's soap that 'channels two of the best places on earth: the great outdoors and Sydney Sweeney's bathtub,' per a press release from the brand.
'When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap,' the newly single star said in the release.
'It's weird in the best way, and I love that we created something that's not just unforgettable, it actually smells incredible and delivers like every other Dr. Squatch product I love,' she added.
'Hopefully, this helps guys wake up to the realities of conventional personal care products and pushes them towards natural.'
Like Sweeney, the bars are sure to be a hot commodity; only 5000 will be made, with the goods going on sale on June 6 on the brand's website.
Fans are already having a ball with the news.
'What has the world come to…' one commented on Sweeney's post. A second said, 'The gooners are gonna spend their life savings getting as many as they can.'
A third declared, 'Never thought I'd see the day that washing my mouth out with soap wasn't a punishment but I actually want to but here we are.'
However, others were grossed out by the product.
'Are straight men ok?' one asked, as another added, 'I love you Sydney, but what the f**k is this?'
'I wanted this to be fake so bad,' someone commented, as one concluded, 'Nah, this is gross.'

Coalition ‘ready to work with' Labor on Trump tariff deal, Sussan Ley says

Sussan Ley says she is 'ready to work with' Labor to get a US tariff carve out after Donald Trump doubled duties on steel and aluminium. The US President signed an executive order on Tuesday afternoon (Washington time), raising the levies from 25 per cent to 50 per cent, following through on his vow to do so last week. Only the UK was spared from the new imposts due to a deal inked in May. The tariffs have effectively blocked Australian-made steel from the US market. Reacting to the order on Wednesday, the Opposition Leader said Australia's inclusion was 'not in the spirit' of the Australia-US alliance. 'We note that the United Kingdom has been able to secure an exemption from the latest American steel tariffs and we stand ready to work with the Albanese government to ensure Australia can achieve the same outcome,' Ms Ley said in a statement. 'President Trump's tariffs on our steelmakers are not in the spirit of our century-old partnership and we urge the Americans to give Australia a fair go and remove them. 'The Coalition wants the government to succeed here because that is in our national interest.' Analysts have questioned the merits of the UK's deal, which has still not come into effect. While it was not included in the latest round, British steel and aluminium have been slugged with the original 25 per cent tariffs. The White House has also said it would slap a quota on UK imports. In exchange, the British government gave US firms greater access to parts of the UK economy, including its agricultural industry. Mr Trump included Australia in the blanket tariffs in March after telling Anthony Albanese an exemption was 'under consideration'. Australia was also hit with 10 per cent levies on most goods as part of Mr Trump's 'Liberation Day' imposts. The Prime Minister said on Tuesday he would raise the duties when he meets the US leader on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Canada later this month. Mr Albanese said it was 'an act of economic self-harm, and it's not the act of a friend, and this just pushes up prices for American purchasers and consumers'. NewsWire understands the details of the leaders' first face-to-face have not been set but both sides expect them to meet. The Albanese government said a deal was before the Trump administration and the ball was in Washington's court.

Lawyer and reality star Tom Girardi sentenced to prison on 86th birthday

An unhappy birthday. Tom Girardi was sentenced to prison for fraud today, which happens to be his 86th birthday. A Los Angeles judge ruled that the disgraced former lawyer will serve seven years and three months behind bars, according to NBC News. He was also reportedly ordered to pay $US2.3 million in restitution to his victims, a $US35,000 fine and surrender to begin his prison sentence on July 17. Girardi's attorneys had been fighting for their elderly client to serve his sentence at a long-term care facility due to his alleged late on-set Alzheimer's and dementia diagnoses. A sworn affidavit written by Dr. Nathan Lavid, a Long Beach forensic and clinical psychiatrist, and previously obtained by Page Six read, 'Dementia impairs his ability to understand the hearing. His emotional distress is directly related to his dementia and exacerbated by his confusion.' However, the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne was found competent by the judge to serve in his fraud trial last year. He was then forced to go to court to battle a February 2023 indictment that accused him of embezzling $US15 million from his former Girardi & Keese clients. The law firm co-founder had been charged with five counts of wire fraud. Girardi was asked during the trial about the missing settlement funds in the case of his former clients, including Joe Ruigomez, a young man who was badly burned due to a gas line. 'I wouldn't have said that,' the disbarred lawyer said when asked why he told Ruigomez that his settlement was for $US5 million instead of $US53 million. 'I didn't intentionally ever tell anyone the wrong thing.' His victims also included the families of those killed in the Lion Air 610 flight in 2018. Girardi was found guilty on four counts of wire fraud in August 2024 after less than a day of jury deliberations. Jayne — who filed to divorce her ex in November 2020 but has yet to finalise the split — said on Real Housewives following the trial verdict, 'I could have never saw this coming.' 'Tom was loved, he was admired, he was accomplished,' the Bravo star, 53, continued in a confessional interview. 'And this is how his story ended. I don't know that I'll ever get over that.' The former couple was married for 22 years. They shared no children together.

‘No one would ever believe this': Bomb squad called in after Ellen Pompeo detained at US airport

Ellen Pompeo has revealed she was held 'for an hour' and had the bomb squad called on her while travelling in the US. The Grey's Anatomy star set off alarms while going through airport security in March because of something she had purchased from the trendy, upscale Los Angeles grocery store, Erewhon. 'I had a bag of sunflower seeds, like organic sunflower seeds from Erewhon, so they were probably the most expensive sunflower seeds money can buy,' Pompeo told New York-based magazine Travel + Leisure. The 55-year-old is one of highest-paid television actresses. She revealed in 2018 she had signed a deal to earn more than $20 million a year with Grey's Anatomy. Pompeo spoke openly about her pay to inspire young women in Hollywood to fight for themselves. But this year, her expensive taste for sunflower seeds almost made her miss a flight. 'They literally held me for an hour, and they brought the bomb squad in,' Pompeo said of the March incident. 'And I was like, what is happening? Is this a joke? They said it was most likely a chemical on the packaging of these super expensive, fancy, organic, clean sunflower seeds. My protein on the plane!' She wasn't allowed to just throw them away as the bomb squad needed to assess the bag, the publication reported. 'I almost missed the flight,' Pompeo said. 'It was really like no one would ever believe this. I was texting my publicist saying, 'I might not get on this plane, and you're never gonna guess why.'' Security checks at US airports have garnered much attention in recent months amid Donald Trump's 'enhanced vetting' and cases of tourists being denied entry on arrival, and at times, strip searched and thrown in prison. Pompeo also gave Travel + Leisure insight into what it's like flying as a celebrity, aside from snacking on sunflower seeds. The actress revealed she wears a hat and tries not to talk on the plane, even resorting to using sign language with her kids, because people recognise her voice. 'The minute I open my mouth, everybody turns,' she said. The destination she is most eager to travel to is Japan. 'That's one place that they all really are excited to go, and we haven't gone yet,' said the mum of three. Japan is currently a big favourite among Australians too, giving beloved Bali a run for its money.
