Whoever violates the privacy of individuals while they are in public places, by publishing or circulating their photos or video clips, without their knowledge or consent, or in circumstances not authorized by law, via the information network or an information technology means, shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year, and by a fine not exceeding (100,000) one hundred thousand riyals, or by either of these two penalties.
