While a third added: "You look absolutely beautiful holly with glasses." A fourth remarked: "Looking lovely good to see you." It comes as Holly recently looked happier than ever as she posed in a bikini and cuddled two pals. The star couldn't stop smiling as she sat on the floor with her arms wrapped around Director of Artist Relations at Universal Music, Shiarra Bell, and All Saints star Nicole Appleton. Posting the snap to Instagram, she kept the caption simple with a single red heart emoji, tagging both friends. Holly Willoughby proves blondes do have more fun as she dyes her own hair The former This Morning host's celeb buddies filled the comments section with their well wishes. Emma Bunton wrote: "There's my gorgeous girls!!!" while Lisa Snowdon said: "The cutest pic!" and Christine Lampard inserted a string of heart-eyed emojis. Meanwhile, it has been a testing few years for the former ITV treasure - as she has been left without a TV show for the first time in years. One option for the star could be a reboot of Record Breakers, which Holly's husband Dan Baldwin is already working on. There is currently no channel attached to the show, which is in its very early stages but sources say it would be a "perfect fit". A telly insider said: "Record Breakers is likely to be a prime time hit and it would make perfect sense for Holly to take the reins. "She has worked alongside Dan before and the pair know what it takes to make great telly." She has also been linked to a reboot of Cilla Black's best-known show, Blind Date. The Sun told this week how the ITV classic is being revived - and in a surprise twist will go to global streaming service Disney+. Producers want to keep the tradition of a top British female host, with a shortlist also including Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall. Sources say Holly is also being looked at for a new Channel 4 talent show, currently dubbed Secret Singers, which is searching for raw, undiscovered singing talent. Love Productions - the creators of The Great British Bake Off and The Piano - have already put out a casting call. An insider said: "This is likely to be a heartwarming and hugely popular show for all the family. "They are looking for a the perfect host to make sure it's a huge success and it could be perfect timing with Holly's break in TV."

Coronation Street cast 'left furious over budget cuts as they suffer another blow' after stars axed and episodes slashed

The Coronation Street cast have reportedly been 'left furious over budget cuts as they suffered yet another blow,' on Thursday. The ITV soap is set to have its episode count slashed by bosses after already seeing a number of stars axed from the programme. Now, the cuts have put another 'dampener' on the cast with their annual summer party said to have been cancelled. A source told The Sun that the stars have organised and will be paying for their own get together this year instead. They explained: 'It's been a difficult few months and people were really looking forward to the party, but it puts a bit of a dampener on things that they have to pay. 'It might not be a lot to some of the bigger known stars but for some staff it is. The fact that drinks aren't included is a real blow too.' The source added: 'People aren't really that surprised though considering the constant budget cuts.' MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment. Coronation Street star Rob Mallard previously revealed the cast's reaction to the soap's recent cuts. Soaring production costs and a collapse in advertising revenue are said to have put the future of the long-running soap in jeopardy and sparked a number of budget cuts. Speaking to MailOnline on the red carpet at the Soap Awards, Rob, who plays Daniel Osbourne, shared the cast's reaction to the changes. He said: 'People who have been in the show for a long time said they thought it was going to be better, because they seem to remember it being like that at some point in the past, and I think in terms of the way we structure our episode. 'We won't have to have so many artificial cliffhangers, because there's no coming back for part two. It's all there in one, so it's going to make the storytelling a lot clearer.' After Lucy Fallon exited the soap earlier this year to give birth to her second child, Rob shared when fans can expect to see Bethany Platt back on screens. He added: 'She's coming back, she's gone off to have her baby, from what I understand she was coming back pretty much as soon as she was able to.' From January 2026, Corrie will reduce to six weekly episodes to just five, airing alongside Emmerdale in a 'new soaps power hour.' It's been reported the ITV soap is in trouble due to an alleged cash crisis and a revolt from the cast over poor working conditions and low salaries. In January, an insider claimed some of the show's well known actors could see their scenes in the Rovers Return cut to save cash. As more well-established stars are paid more per episode, the show is said to be relying more on its newer characters as those actors are paid less. Salaries on the cobbles vary significantly with established stars like Bill Roache said to earn £2,000 per episode while newbies usually get £400 per appearance Gail Platt - played by Helen Worth for 50 years - appeared in just 26 out of 304 episodes in her final year on the soap, while Bill only played Ken for 48 episodes. While some of the show's mid-ranking and younger actors are been said to be worried they'll be written off the show in order to keep the more established stars. Last year, the show's new boss warned the multiple characters will face the boot as she opened up about several 'unexpected exits' in 2025. Other actors have reportedly vented their fury on a WhatsApp group over fears they could be next. A source said: 'There's a WhatsApp group which has been pinging with messages about concerns of where the axe will fall next.' 'It's a tough time on the soap and it's filtering down. There is a feeling more people will be cut to save money and to keep the best-paid stars like Bill Roache and Jack P Shepherd on board.'

Coronation Street cast hit by fresh blow as budget cuts continue to bite

The Coronation Street cast have been hit by a fresh blow amid the ongoing budget cuts - which have seen a number of changes in the long-running ITV soap throughout the year The cast and crew of ITV soap Coronation Street are reportedly said to be "furious" over the latest impact of budget cuts. Earlier this year, it was reported the long-running soap had made changes to filming in a bid to cut back on expenses. Now, the cast and crew have been hit with another huge blow, as the latest impact has reportedly left them forking out for their own summer party. ‌ In January, it was reported the show had infuriated some of the cast by reducing the number of established characters filming inside the iconic Rovers Return pub in a bid to save money. The show has also seen a number of departures this year including Colson Smith (Craig Tinker) and Charlotte Jordan (Daisy Midgeley). ‌ The latest change reportedly means the cast have had to organise their own summer party, which each person paying £22 per for the bash. They'll also be paying for drinks on top of the sum, which covers venue, entertainment and security. A source told The Sun: 'It's been a difficult few months and people were really looking forward to the party, but it puts a bit of a dampener on things that they have to pay. 'It might not be a lot to some of the bigger known stars but for some staff it is. The fact that drinks aren't included is a real blow too. People aren't really that surprised though considering the constant budget cuts.' The Mirror understands that the Coronation Street crew organised the party, not ITV bosses, and the whole team is said to be looking forward to the event. The Mirror have contacted Coronation Street and ITV for comment. ‌ The news comes months after it was announced the soap would be cutting down to five hours a week, rather than six. However, it's not the only ITV soap to have their hours cut, as Emmerdale will also follow suit. The change is set to take place at the beginning of 2026. From January, there will be a soap 'power hour', with Emmerdale airing for half an hour each day at 8pm. Coronation Street will air straight after at 8.30pm each day, again for half an hour, as the drama from the Cobbles returns to its daily offerings. However, there's also a huge positive in January for both soaps, as for the first time ever, they'll join forces in an unprecedented, one-off special episode to launch the broadcaster's new power hour. It will mark the first time a crossover has happened in British soap history, will see characters from both soaps come together in a celebration of the soap genre.
