The teenager made a mockery of established Premier League defenders during the clash in Singapore as he won the penalty - scored by Martin Odegaard - which sealed the deal in Arsenal's favour.
He didn't just pass the eye test either, with an impressive stat line including two out of three successful dribbles, two shots on target and being the most fouled player in the whole game hammering home his potential.
Speaking after the match, even Arsenal boss Arteta was unable to tone down his high-hopes for the prodigy.
He said: "Yeah, it is special. Obviously what he's done today against this team in the time that he had on the pitch is something certainly not common to witness for a 15-year-old.
"We are extremely happy to have him. I think again the environment that he's around in.
"His family, the people at the club and around the academy as well, super helpful because they put him into this position so early in his journey, having a real chance and a real presence when he plays for the first time."
Despite not turning 16 until December, Dowman will be eligible to star for the Emirates outfit's first team next season.
And Arsenal fans have high hopes for the youngster's upcoming season.

Another said: "Hale End producing a world beater in Max Dowman. Doing this against senior Newcastle players to win a penalty at 15?? Lost for words…"
A fifth said: "Can't lie Max Dowman might be the best 15 yr old English player I have seen. The kid is a joke."

Prince William sends royal well wishes to football club ahead of historic season
Prince William, who has long been an avid football fan, has sent a congratulatory message to the Truro City FC ahead of their premiere in the National League next week Prince William has sent a message of well wishes and congratulations to Truro City Football Club ahead of their premier in the National League. William, who has long been an avid football fan and is patron of the Football Association, addressed the message to the club's captain Connor Riley-Lowe, as the club became a fully professional side for the first time. The club were promoted last April in their first season back in Cornwall, having played out of the county for almost four years as they awaited a new ground to be built in Truro. The Prince of Wales, who is also known as the Duke of Cornwall, wrote to Riley-Lowe ahead of the club's first home match next week, to show his support for the team. 'The Duke of Cornwall has asked me to write ahead of your home match against York on Saturday next week,' the letter began. 'The Duke knows that you have only just returned home after a few years away, and like everyone else in Cornwall, will be cheering you on. ' Prince William has asked me to pass on his warmest congratulations in getting promoted to the National League as Cornwall's first professional team. This comes with the Duke of Cornwall's very best wishes. Good luck to the Tinners.' Prince William has long professed his love for Aston Villa, and recently attended the UEFA Women's Final in Switzerland, accompanied by his daughter Princess Charlotte, to cheer on the Lionesses as they claimed their victory over Spain. In addition to his dedication to his favourite team, William has incorporated his love of the game into his charity ventures. In May, William celebrated the latest stage of an ambitious project to transform community spaces in Leith, announcing a new partnership with a local football scheme described as a "blueprint for the future". Street Soccer Scotland - founded by former professional footballer David Duke - delivers free football-themed training and personal development programmes for socially disadvantaged adults and young people across Scotland. Upon arrival at Leith Community Centre, William couldn't resist joining in football drills, where he was treated to flamenco dancing and heard how young people have been enacting change in their local area. The prince needed no encouragement to give a penalty shoot-out a go, though he was disappointed when the goalie saved his first shot. But William managed to kick the ball into the net on his second attempt, prompting loud cheers. He turned to the team behind him and said, "That's it, I'm done now," as he held up his hands to concede. Truro City begin their season with a trip to Wealdstone on Saturday before their first home league game of the season a week later against York City. They are the first team from Cornwall to ever reach the fifth tier of English football and the first side from the county to go fully professional. Captain Connor Riley-Lowe, who had been balancing his football career with a full-time job as a teacher, told BBC Sport of the team's stunning promotion: "It's taken some getting used to." "It still feels a bit strange coming to football every day rather than going into work, but it's been lovely," he says. "It's just been brilliant for me. It just allows you to be able to work a bit harder on the training ground."

Manchester United return to Old Trafford after a mixed summer of fixtures for their final pre-season friendly, and a chance for the home faithful to see a slew of new signings in action. Ruben Amorim 's side notched wins against West Ham and Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer Series, the latter a 4-1 rout, before drawing 2-2 against Everton in their final match in the US, which resulted in Bruno Fernandes slating a 'lazy' performance. 'It was crystal clear we needed more competition for the players that were here, more quality to get everyone to step up a little more to get to the XI, and I think that is what the club are trying to do,' the captain said. Fernandes - and Amorim - will be hoping United put on a better showing at Old Trafford today, with a tricky opener to their Premier League campaign on the horizon against last season's runners-up Arsenal. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the match: When is Man United vs Fiorentina? The match will take place on Saturday 9 August at Old Trafford, with kickoff at 12.45pm BST. Team news New signings Bryan Mbuemo and Matheus Cunha played together for the first time - the former making his maiden United appearance - in Atlanta, although the game has come too soon for the Red Devils' newest arrival, Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko. Lisandro Martinez, Andre Onana and Noussair Mazraoui are all still absentees with injury. Meanwhile, former United keeper David de Gea returns to his old haunt, but striker Christian Kouame will not feature for the visitors due to a cruciate ligament injury. Is Arsenal v Athletic Bilbao on TV? Channel, kick-off time and how to watch pre-season friendly
Arsenal entertain Athletic Bilbao in their final pre-season friendly before the start of the Premier League next season. Mikel Arteta's side have struggle in pre-season, suffering back-to-back defeats to Tottenham and Villarreal, with the Basque side likely to reveal how ready the Gunners are to challenge champions Liverpool for the title. Arteta is desperate to guide Arsenal over the line in the title race, with the hope that their new signings will position them well to dethrone Liverpool. 'I think we've done that in the last three years and that's the next step,' Arteta said after defeat to Villarreal. 'We know what it is and we're going to be better. It's like any other team when you look at the competition, the pieces of the puzzle that they've added. They're big ones as well so we're all trying to be at our best.' Finding the right balance with a new midfield will also be key, as Martin Zubimendi takes a leading role alongside Declan Rice, with Saturday's friendly likely to show us how quickly this Arsenal side can start the new campaign next week. Here's everything you need to know about the pre-season friendly at the Emirates: When is Arsenal v Athletic Bilbao? The match will take place on Saturday, 9 August at Emirates Stadium in London, with kick-off set for 5pm BST. How can I watch it? The match will be shown on and the club's official app, with a price of £4.99 if taking up the early bird offer, though the price rises to £6.99 after 9am BST on the day of the game. The match is unavailable to stream in Spain. Viktor Gyokeres is set to feature again as he continues to build momentum following his £64m move from Sporting. Riccardo Calafiori and Leandro Trossard could feature after niggles in pre-season forced them to miss the Villarreal game, though Gabriel Jesus is far from a comeback after an ACL injury last season. While Kai Havertz also skipped the last friendly and could return. Noni Madueke, who missed a penalty against Villarreal midweek, could feature from the start as he continues to adapt following his move from Chelsea. New right-back Jesus Areso could feature for Athletic, with Nico Williams, who snubbed interest from Barcelona and was linked strongly with a move to the Emirates, set to start.
