We start the day mostly clear and sunny under high pressure. Temperatures warm up to the low 70s between the sunshine and deep southerly flow.
TONIGHT:
We remain mostly clear this evening as high pressure remains, though some areas become a bit breezy. Temperatures tonight are mild in the low 50s, thanks to continued southerly flow
THE WEEK AHEAD:
By tomorrow morning, clouds will gradually build in. Our first few showers likely won't arrive until the late afternoon, and severe storms may arrive as late as the mid-evening. Storms roll in with chances for severe gusty winds, hail, and even an isolated tornado. This system leaves as quickly as it arrives, and behind it, sunshine returns for midweek.

Flash flooding in western Pennsylvania leads to dozens of evacuations
MURRYSVILLE, Pa. – Severe thunderstorms brought flash flooding to western Pennsylvania Friday, causing dozens of evacuations and multiple water rescues. The brunt of the storms hit the town of Murrysville, east of Pittsburgh. A rain gauge near Murrysville reported 3 inches of rain in just two hours, with some storm totals exceeding 4 inches. The heavy rains quickly overwhelmed parts of town. Memphis Pride Fest, Pride Parade canceled; postponed until 2026
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Mid-South Pride has announced that Memphis Pride Fest and the Mid-South Pride Parade have been canceled. In a social media post, the Foundation announced that the decision was made due to the 'risk of severe weather.' 'This decision wasn't made lightly, but the safety of our community comes first, always. While we won't be gathering as planned this weekend, the spirit behind this celebration is still very much alive,' they said in the post. They also announced that the Memphis Pride Parade has been postponed until 2026. Fun events happening in Memphis this weekend 'Why? Because your safety always comes first. Due to today's weather and conditions along the parade route, continuing with the parade just wouldn't be safe for attendees, performers, and volunteers,' they said in the social media post.
