Putin announces Russian forces receive 1st batch of ‘Oryxnik' terrifying missiles
Moscow – Gaza: Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Friday that Russia has begun producing the 'Oryxnik' missiles, which have a destructive power comparable to nuclear weapons, and has delivered the first batch to the Russian military. Speaking at a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Putin said, 'We have produced the first system and delivered it to the forces, and industrial production of these missiles has now started,' according to Sputnik news agency. During the informal meeting on Valaam Island in Karelia, the two presidents discussed plans to deploy the 'Oryxnik' missiles in Belarus. Putin indicated that deployment is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Military experts from both countries have identified sites for positioning these latest additions to Russia's missile arsenal. Earlier, Putin stated that if used in a large-scale strike, the power of the 'Oryxnik' missiles would be equivalent to nuclear weapons. However, he emphasized that the 'Oryxnik' is not a weapon of mass destruction due to its high precision and currently being equipped only with conventional warheads. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Slovenia Announces Ban on Arms Trade with Israel
Ljubljana - Saba: Slovenia announced Thursday evening that it will ban all arms-related trade with Israel due to the war on the Gaza Strip, a move described as the first of its kind by a European Union country. A statement issued by Prime Minister Robert Golube's office confirmed the decision, which he initiated during a government session held earlier Thursday. Under the new decision, all weapons and military equipment sent from Slovenia to, imported from, or transited through Israel are prohibited. This move comes amid growing criticism of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and as a result of the European Union's inability to take concrete action regarding Israel. The statement added: "Due to internal disagreements and divisions, the European Union is currently unable to fulfill this task." Earlier Thursday, the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Israeli ambassador to protest the dire humanitarian catastrophe caused by the restrictions on urgent humanitarian aid access to Gaza.
