It started as lighthearted social media banter, quickly morphing into a public back-and-forth that revealed deeper cracks between Chicago Sky standout Angel Reese and her Unrivaled teammate Kahleah Copper.
While the two WNBA stars previously shared chemistry on the court, their recent exchange on X suggested that off-court tensions may have quietly been building for months, and now, they're on full display.
Angel Reese and Kahleah Copper put their online beef on display
It all began when Copper tweeted, '@Reese10Angel just miss me.. I'll be in Chicago soon 😘,' to which Reese replied sharply, 'nah, can we meet outside of the workplace? damn.' That seemingly playful reply took a sudden turn when Copper responded with, 'Lol you actually replied smarta**ssss!! And don't even start making up stuff on the net I'm not playing wit youuuuuu ☹️.'
— Reese10Angel (@Reese10Angel)
Reese didn't back down, escalating with, 'you right. IM STILL OFF YOU.'
Tensions appeared to predate this interaction. Responding to an earlier June 8 tweet from Copper that read, 'maaannnn @kalanibrown21 gon' have @Reese10Angel mad at meeeee 😢😭,' Reese exposed a more serious rift:
'oh yeah i forgot to reply to this too… you been acting real shady since unrivaled too. you didn't even want to speak in phoenix and had to facetime me after smh.'

Even personal grooming wasn't off-limits in the spat. After Copper posted, 'cheating on my eyebrow lady, pray for me yall,' Reese fired back with a stinger, 'i hope she mess them up. thank ya.'
While it's unclear if this feud will bleed into on-court chemistry for the Sky or the Unrivaled league.
Angel Reese recently won the
BET Sportswoman Award
, faces criticism
Angel Reese has faced nonstop criticism this season, and boxer Claressa Shields recently joined the noise. Shields expressed frustration after losing the 2025 BET Sportswoman of the Year award to Reese.
But instead of firing back, the Chicago Sky rookie stayed focused on her game and let her performance speak.
Following a tough loss to the New York Liberty, Reese was asked about the award during a postgame press conference. Still emotional, she opened up and reflected on the moment with honesty and grace, choosing not to respond to the drama.
'It's great. Obviously, this is my third one. Obviously, it really meant something to other people today 'cause it's me.
And I focus on basketball. I come in to work every day and work. I don't complain, I don't care about anything else. I have bad days. I haven't been playing well at all. And I could sit here and just mope around and point the finger, but it's been me,' she shared.
She continued, 'People would die and kill to have this job,' adding, 'being able to play with the best players in the world means a lot to me. I put my all in this sh*t. I do.'

'Dumb and Dumber' — Indiana Pacers fans trolling ESPN analysts Stephen A Smith and Kendrick Perkins during NBA Finals Game 4 go viral
Images via Getty Images and X Sometimes, the loudest message in a Finals game doesn't come from a superstar or a coach—it comes from the stands. During Game 4 of the 2025 NBA Finals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, while most fans rocked gold Pacers shirts, two individuals turned heads with bold fashion choices straight out of a comedy classic. Dressed in Dumb and Dumber-style tuxedos—one bright orange, one electric blue—they topped it off with oversized face cutouts of ESPN's Stephen A. Smith and Kendrick Perkins. It was a hilarious, pointed response to recent media criticism of Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton—and fans online immediately took notice. Tyrese Haliburton fires back at critics, Stephen A. Smith takes it personally in fiery rant The media heat on Tyrese Haliburton started after Game 2, when he was criticized for his passiveness in a 107–123 Pacers loss. On 'First Take', ESPN's Stephen A. Smith didn't hold back. 'Win the damn chip, bro… That ain't on me. That's on you,' he said, implying Haliburton wasn't delivering when it mattered. Smith continued, 'Just in case he was talking about me—my brother, I'm not going away… this train don't stop.' Then came Game 3. Haliburton bounced back with 22 points, 11 assists, and 9 rebounds in a 116–107 Pacers win. After the game, he was asked about the media noise. He didn't name names but made his feelings clear: 'Most of the time, the talking heads on the major platforms, I couldn't care less honestly. Like, what do they really know about basketball?' Kendrick Perkins , speaking on NBA Today, gave Haliburton credit for stepping up. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo 'He finally arrived to the NBA Finals—to us box score watchers,' Perkins said. It was comedy, commentary, and petty brilliance all rolled into one. Hilarious fan reactions to ' Dumb and Dumber ' trolling of Stephen A. Smith and Kendrick Perkins at Game 4 Fans took to X with no shortage of reactions to the trolling masterclass. One fan said: 'Absolutely incredible troll job by Pacers fans dressed as Stephen A. This tweet added playful speculation, bluntly asking if the fans were deliberately labeling the ESPN duo as the classic comedy characters. One more said: 'Best thing I've seen tonight…. Dumb and Dumber at the Pacer game tonight!' This comment called the bit the highlight of the evening—more memorable than even the on-court action for some viewers. 'Kathanar The Wild Sorcerer': to Aadu 3': 3D Wave in Mollywood
Mollywood is embracing 3D technology, with filmmakers exploring its potential beyond fantasy genres. 'Aadu 3' is venturing into 3D, showcasing this shift. Jonita Doda highlights the immersive experience of India's first 3D romantic film, 'Salmon 3D,' while Tovino Thomas acknowledges the challenges of 3D filming, emphasizing that content remains paramount, regardless of the format. (Picture Courtesy: Facebook) Watching a movie in 3D is always an immersive experience, despite some critics. Coming to Mollywood, the industry seems to be shifting its gears to a new realm, and the most basic one would be 3D movies. Let's take a look at the 3D wave happening in the Malayalam film industry. 'Aadu' venturing into 3D Jayasurya and Midhun Manuel Thomas' hit series 'Aadu 3' is reportedly in 3D format. This shows how the Malayalam filmmakers are pushing the boundaries of 3D by not only limiting it to fantasy or fictional movies. Director Midhun Manuel Thomas surely would have seen the scope of storytelling via 3D, enhancing the theatrical experience; otherwise, a talented scriptwriter and filmmaker like him wouldn't be opting for such a format. (Picture Courtesy: Facebook) 'It adds a new dimension to the cinematic experience' - Jonita Doda In an exclusive conversation with the actress Jonita Doda, who has been part of India's first-ever romantic 3D film 'Salmon 3D' revealed that it adds a whole new theatrical experience. Talking to ETimes, the 'Salmon 3D' actress said, 'The USP of our film lies in two key aspects. Firstly, it is India's first-ever romantic 3D stereoscopic film, which adds a whole new dimension to the cinematic experience. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Scam Exposed: What They Won't Tell You about zero trust! Salmon 3D - Official Malayalam Trailer (Picture Courtesy: Facebook) 'Shooting with 3D cameras is a very tough thing to do' - Tovino Thomas Now let's move on to the production part of a 3D film. In a conversation with Mid Day, the 'ARM' actor Tovino Thomas said that shooting a movie in 3D is quite challenging. He said, 'Shooting with 3D cameras is a very tough thing to do. It takes more time and effort.' Coming to 'ARM', what the makers did was 3D conversion rather than shooting in 3D camera. He said, ''People won't be able to tell whether we shot it with 3D cameras or converted it later, because the technology has come so far. We already have clear guidelines on how to shoot for 3D conversion — there's a specific approach to follow, and our cinematographer was fully aware of that from the start.' Do all films require 3D? Well, the answer would be a clear NO! While 3D may enhance the theatre-viewing experience, not all stories are perfect that way. There may be several sequences added just for the sake of creating that 3D visual, and this would serve no purpose to the actual storyline. For a movie like 'My Dear Kuttichathan', 3D experience is well worth it. But if one were to pick a 3D format for a film like 'Drishyam', it would be a complete no and would feel complete injustice towards the content of the movie, unless there are some genuine reasons for adding 3D elements (hopefully there won't be any). Coming to the upcoming Jayasurya starrer 'Kathanar The Wild Sorcerer', it's quite sure that the 3D elements will work as everyone knows the storyline and how it can be perfectly suited for a 3D experience. Shooting in 3D or not, as we always say, the content of a movie matters.
