Ravens sign three undrafted rookies, including kicker John Hoyland
Hoyland finished his five-year college career going 73-of-92 (79.3). In 2024, he completed 15-of-19 attempts (78.9). According to Baltimoreravens.com's Ryan Mink, 'Hoyland only missed twice in 54 attempts during his career from under 40 yards. Three of his four misses last season were from 50 or more yards.'

Hoyland joins sixth-round pick Tyler Loop as competition for the open kicker position on the Ravens' roster after the team released Justin Tucker on May 5.
Scott joins the Ravens as another versatile offensive lineman. He began his career at Army as a right guard and right tackle before transitioning to fullback/tight end. Interestingly, he played for Army Head Coach Jeff Monken, cousin of Ravens' Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken.
Martin was ranked as one of NFL.com's top undrafted rookie free agents. He was ranked as The Athletic's Dane Brugler's No. 70 cornerback in the draft on 'The Beast.' He exceled in his Pro Day, running a 4.38 40-yard dash and a 6.89 three-cone, which would've ranked No. 13 among all prospects at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine.

Former Eagles quarterback sees another potential career detour
You might think this is crazy to hear it now, but once upon a time, there were some sparse fantasies about what it might look like to see Joe Flacco in a Philadelphia Eagles jersey. You must understand the times and some of the backstory for that to make sense. He was a product of Voorhees Township, New Jersey. He finished his NCAA career with the Delaware Blue Hens (2005-07) following a stint with the Pittsburgh Panthers (2003-04). Oh, and by the way, he had helped lead the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl XLVII win. He also won MVP honors in the game. There never seemed to be any genuine interest expressed by the Eagles organization. Plus, Baltimore hung onto him for a while. Fans are fans for a reason, though. It's easy to see why some Philadelphia fans (not all of them) might have expressed interest, but the Eagles drafted Carson Wentz. They eventually won a Super Bowl (LII), and we strangely never discussed Joe Flacco as an Eagle ever again. That is, until he joined the Eagles for a brief spell in 2021. Joe Flacco beats out Kenny Pickett for the Cleveland Browns' starting QB job Flacco wasn't in Philadelphia long. He was signed on March 25, 2021. He was traded to the New York Jets on October 25 that same year. The Eagles played musical chairs with their backup QBs for a while, but in 2024, they added a local native. Kenny Pickett entered the NFL as a former Heisman Trophy finalist. He had enjoyed a successful run at the same Pitt program Flacco once played for. As a professional, he was drafted in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers (2022), but they gave up early. In March 2024, he was dealt after requesting a trade when Pittsburgh added veteran Russell Wilson as their starter. Flacco started one game in Philadelphia, and he won it. That was a Week 17, 41-7 affair vs. the Dallas Cowboys. He earned a Super Bowl ring for his troubles as part of the 2024 Eagles roster. He was eventually traded to the Cleveland Browns for Dorian Thompson-Robinson and draft compensation. He found himself in competition with Joe Flacco for the Browns' starting QB position. Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders were also in the mix. It has been announced that Flacco has been named Cleveland's starting quarterback. That leaves Pickett to make sense of another career detour. The story isn't over. He may be traded at some point. For now, however, his journey is at a crossroads. One must ask if he is beginning to run short on chances. Then again, what are the chances of his reunion with Kellen Moore as part of the New Orleans Saints? Why is Rashod Bateman being drafted so late?
Yahoo Fantasy's Matt Harmon and Faraz Siddiqi of Upper Hand Fantasy discuss the Ravens receiver's low ADP despite being in a top-10 offense. Hear the full conversation on the 'Yahoo Fantasy Forecast' podcast - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript The Ravens are projected to be a top 10 offense at a basic level, no, no, no, no, this is like, a top 2 offense by every every source, and yet their #2 wide receiver goes deep deep in the hundreds in fantasy football drafts, and he is a good player. Like, okay, maybe you don't buy what I'm selling with reception rate, success rates, and the fact that he's been awesome. I don't know why you're listening to the show if that's true. But thank you for listening to the show anyways. But seriously, uh, but again, the guy is a really good route runner, separates at all three levels. But last year, he proved it statistically, when he got his opportunities, he was awesome. Sixty-four wide receivers had 40+ catches last year, Faraz. Rashod Bateman had the highest percentage of those catches go for a first down or a touchdown. Super explosive, over 40% explosive play rate. Um, and he saw 7.7% of his snaps from the slot, easily the lowest among that 40-plus reception club at the wide receiver position last year. I think the slot rate goes up this year because I think they will play more 11 personnel with DeAndre Hopkins in the mix. And Hopkins, I think, actually fits more as a boundary player than he played a lot of X receiver. I don't think that's the best use of him, but when he's just on the field for third downs and stuff, he'll line up at X and allow Bateman to move around a little bit more. And again, this is just taking a good player attached to a good quarterback that nobody else wants to draft. So, listen, Bateman had what, like between 700 and 800 yards last year. I think he is one of my, uh, if I'm looking at non-rookie wide receivers that go in the hundreds, I think he's one of my favorite bets to get to over 900 this year. There's just more room for Rashod Bateman to grow, uh, and yeah, I will be tweeting out, hell yeah, Rashod Bateman every single time he catches a football this year. Close

Report: Jonathan Mingo to miss 4-6 weeks with sprained PCL
Cowboys wide receiver Jonathan Mingo will miss 4-6 weeks with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament, Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News reports. The timeline would indicate a stint on injured reserve, keeping him out at least the first four games of the regular season. Mingo injured his right knee in Saturday's preseason loss to the Ravens. On the play after he caught a 49-yard pass, Mingo jumped to try to catch a fade. He landed awkwardly, left the game and did not return. He underwent an MRI on Sunday. The Cowboys list Mingo as the backup to CeeDee Lamb. He made five catches for 46 yards in 2024 after arriving in Dallas via a midseason trade from Carolina.
