‘Happy Gilmore 2' Trailer Features Cameos From Eminem, Post Malone & Bad Bunny
The sequel follows Adam Sandler's iconic character returning to the green nearly 30 years after the original to raise $300,000 for his daughter's ballet tuition.

Sandler previously announced the Detroit rapper's inclusion in the highly anticipated sequel during a recent appearance on The Dan Patrick Show.
'Eminem was cool, he came by, he was great,' Sandler raved of Em, adding, 'I've known Eminem for a long time, he's a great guy and he came in and was funny as hell,' he said. 'I think we just hung out a day with Eminem and he just shot and shot and he was insane. [He] said a million things we can use and a million that we're glad we have him on tape.'
The cameo-filled trailer features a slew of other big names, including Bad Bunny, Travis Kelce, Eric André, Margaret Qualley, and Martin Herlihy.
Bad Bunny plays Gilmore's chaotic new caddie, while Ben Stiller, Julie Bowen, and Christopher McDonald reprise their roles from the 1996 classic. The movie also stars Sandler's real-life daughter, Sunny Sandler, who plays Gilmore's daughter.
Back in August, Sandler also discussed Travis Kelce's cameo in the comedy flick. During a Tonight Show appearance, the comedian shared of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 'He's a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He's a stud and he's so funny.'
Directed by Kyle Newacheck and co-written by Sandler and longtime collaborator Tim Herlihy, the film blends nostalgia with a new twist, bringing back fan-favorite characters while introducing fresh faces. Of course, Gilmore's fiery temper and unconventional golf skills are on full display once again.
Eminem's appearance comes during a prolific era for the rapper. His 2024 album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving 281,000 equivalent album units in its first week and marking his 11th No. 1 album.
The album's lead single, 'Houdini,' debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning Eminem his 23rd career top 10 single and his highest chart debut since 'The Monster,' featuring Rihanna, which logged four weeks at No. 1 in December 2013-January 2014.
Menawhile, Post Malone is co-headlining the Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll, which kicked off in April 2025 and runs through July in North America, before heading to Europe in August and September. The tour supports Post Malone's country-inspired album F-1 Trillion, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Natalie Dormer set to star in Netflix's 'Extraction' spinoff
Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Natalie Dormer of Elementary, The Tudors and Game of Thrones fame has signed on to star in Netflix's new eight-part series set in the Extraction universe. The ensemble for the as-yet-untitled thriller will include the previously announced cast members Omar Sy and Boyd Holbrook. Glen Mazzara is showrunner, writer, and executive producer. "A mercenary (Omar Sy) embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue hostages in Libya," the streaming service said in a press release Monday. "Trapped between warring factions and ruthless killers, he must navigate life-or-death choices while confronting deep emotional wounds. Blackpink May Be About To Beat Its Own Radio Record
A month ago, Blackpink kicked off a new era with a hugely anticipated and high-energy single. The South Korean girl group dropped 'Jump' in July, and the hard electronic cut quickly became a global sensation, as is the case with everything the four women release. 'Jump' is on the decline on several Billboard charts in America, but the song is picking up steam at pop radio. As it advances significantly, Blackpink cements its status as one of the most successful K-pop girl groups of all time – again. Blackpink's Ascent on the Pop Airplay Chart 'Jump' leaps from No. 30 to No. 23 on the Pop Airplay chart, the most competitive of the three pop radio rankings published by Billboard every frame. In its fourth turn on the tally, 'Jump' coincidentally becomes the fourth-highest-rising hit of all time by a K-pop girl group, and it could easily increase its standing again. Fifty Fifty Still Leads So far, just one tune credited to a girl group known primarily for creating K-pop has reached the top 10 on the Pop Airplay chart. 'Cupid' became a breakout smash for Fifty Fifty, flying all the way to No. 7. 'Golden,' which is credited to fake girl group Huntr/X as well as Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, the actual human singers from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, currently appears at No. 20, and just like Blackpink's 'Jump,' it is quickly ascending. 'Jump' sits just two spaces behind another Blackpink track, 'Ice Cream,' the group's collaboration with Selena Gomez. That composition still stands as the outfit's highest-rising win, as it stalled at No. 21 several years back. 'Jump' Could Soon Leap to a Historic New High At the rate that 'Jump' has been surging, it could tie, or perhaps even pass, 'Ice Cream' in a few days, or maybe another week or two. Last frame, when 'Jump' counted No. 30 as its high point, the tune ranked as the fifth-highest-peaking hit by any K-pop girl group on the Pop Airplay chart. In fourth place was 'I Do' by (G)I-dle, which only made it to No. 26 before turning around and then quickly disappearing. Blackpink's New Single Remains a Top 10 Win While 'Jump' is on the downswing, the Blackpink cut still lives inside the top 10 on almost every Billboard tally on which it appears. The tune holds inside the highest tier on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S., as well as a trio of genre-specific rosters in America: the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Dance Streaming Songs, and Dance Digital Song Sales charts, where it currently appears at Nos. 3, 5, and 7, respectively.
