March Madness: Arkansas vs. Kansas odds, picks and predictions
The Razorbacks lost in the second round of the SEC Tournament 83-80 to the Ole Miss Rebels March 13 in Nashville, though they covered as 4.5-point underdogs with the Over (147) cashing. They beat the South Carolina Gamecocks 72-68 in the first round, pushing as 4 point favorites — the Over (139.5) hit in this one, too. Arkansas has won 5 of its last 7 games, going 4-2-1 against the spread (ATS) with the Over cashing 6 times. The Razorbacks are 14-17-2 ATS on the season.
The Jayhawks lost in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals to the Arizona Wildcats 88-77 March 13 in Kansas City as 3-point underdogs with the Over (153) coming through. Kansas needed OT in its first-round game to beat UCF 99-94, failing to cover as a 10.5-point favorite as the Over (155.5) hit here, too. Kansas won just 3 of its last 7 games to close out the regular season but squeaked by with a 4-3 ATS mark in those. It is 15-18 ATS on the season.

Arkansas vs. Kansas picks and predictions
Prediction
Kansas 81, Arkansas 72
PASS.
The only real way to look at the moneyline is in Arkansas' favor — since it's plus-money (+180) — but that's not how I see this playing out. Meanwhile, Kansas (-220) is too expensive to play to win outright.
BET KANSAS -5.5 (-105).
The Jayhawks have size in C Hunter Dickinson (17.6 PPG, 10.0 RPG), athleticism in F KJ Adams (9.2 PPG, 5.0 RPG) and experience in G Dajuan Harris (9.2 PPG, 5.7 APG). With legendary coach Bill Self at the helm, they should come out aggressive and be able to win and cover. Kansas covered in 4 of its last 5 regular-season games and are 2-1 ATS in its last 3 as a single-digit favorite.
The Razorbacks have had an up-and-down season and have a few awful losses, most notably a 19-point defeat at South Carolina (72-53) March 1 and a 78-74 setback at LSU Jan. 14. The Gamecocks finished last and the Tigers 15th in the 16-team SEC, respectively. Excluding the conference tournament in Nashville, Arkansas was 1-3 ATS in a neutral-court setting this season.
BACK KANSAS -5.5 (-105).
BET OVER 146.5 (-105).
Offensively, both teams are hot, and they should stay that way Thursday in Providence.
The Razorbacks have scored at least 72 in 4 consecutive games and at least 80 points in 5 of their last 7 games. The Over cashed in their last 4 outings as well — all 4 above this 146.5 total.
The Jayhawks have gone Over in 3 straight, scoring at least 77 points in each. The Over is 6-2 in their last 8.
Considering these trends, TAKE OVER 146.5 (-105).

MSU basketball listed among top teams in Big Ten in latest preseason rankings
Today's edition of the ROTHSTEIN 45 is now LIVE following recent 10:1. Purdue2. Houston3. St. John's4. Florida5. Michigan6. UConn7. UCLA8. BYU9. Duke10. Texas TechCC: @FDSportsBook, @ Michigan State basketball remains just outside of the top 20 in the latest preseason rankings from one of the game's top analysts. Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports has released an updated batch of preseason rankings for the 2025-26 college basketball season, and the Spartans remain listed just outside the top 20. Rothstein has the Spartans at No. 21 in his updated version of the rankings that were released on Tuesday. Among Big Ten teams, the Spartans rank No. 5 in Rothstein's list but there is a notable drop off after the top three. He has Purdue (No. 1), Michigan (No. 5) and UCLA (No. 7) all in the top 10, and then next from the Big Ten is Oregon (No. 20) one spot before the Spartans. Michigan State is the reigning Big Ten champs and went the furthest of any team from the league in the NCAA Tournament by reaching the Elite Eight this past season. However, the Spartans have lost a number of key pieces off that highly-successful team, including leading scorers Jase Richardson and Jaden Akins -- so many like Rothstein anticipate a step back from the Spartans next season. As I've said during most of this offseason, I feel like anywhere from No. 15 to No. 25 is about right for the Spartans in next year's preseason poll. I would be quite surprised if they were any higher than No. 15 and shocked if they were unranked when the official preseason polls drop in a few months. 2025 BMW Championship odds, picks and PGA Tour predictions
The FedExCup Playoffs roll on with this week's 2025 BMW Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland. The top 50 players in the FedExCup standings will tee it up with the goal of being one of the 30 golfers advancing to the Tour Championship next week at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. The first round begins on Thursday and the tournament, which has no cut, will wrap up on Sunday. Below, we look at BMW Championship odds from BetMGM Sportsbook's odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions. The BMW Championship features a 49-player field with Rory McIlroy back after a week off, but Sepp Straka had to withdraw Monday due to a personal matter. Unsurprisingly, Scottie Scheffler (+225) is the favorite to win, with McIlroy (+700) second and Tommy Fleetwood (+1600) also near the top of the board. The last time this event was played at Caves Valley, Patrick Cantlay (+1800) beat out Bryson DeChambeau in a playoff in 2021. Caves Valley hosted this event in 2021, but has since undergone an extensive renovation project. It's now a par 70 after being played as a par 72, despite the fact that 60 yards were added to the overall length of the course. (7,601 yards) Every green is newly built, as well, so it will present some different challenges for players after the scores were remarkably low 4 years ago; Cantlay was 27-under at the end of the week. BMW Championship – Expert picks Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Monday at 6:59 p.m. ET. Aberg has been up and down for most of the year, but he's been trending up as of late. He finished T-8 at the Genesis Scottish Open, T-23 at the Open Championship and T-9 last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. He now comes to a course that's long and requires accuracy now that there's thicker rough, which suits his game. Schauffele didn't have a great week the last time the BMW was at Caves Valley, finishing T-49 with rounds of 75 and 71 on the weekend. However, he's now in desperation mode, needing a good week to make the Tour Championship again. Plus, he's finished T-8, T-7 and T-22 in his last 3 starts worldwide, so he's in fairly good form. BMW Championship picks – Contenders Burns lit it up on 2 of the days at Caves Valley in 2021, shooting 64 in the opening round and 65 on Saturday. He finished alone in eighth place in what was a great week for Burns, getting him into the Tour Championship. He's cooled off after a scintillating May and June, but now that he's headed to Caves Valley, he could get hot again. Bhatia jumped out in front last week with an opening round of 8-under, but he was unable to continue that solid play. Still, he finished 10-under in sixth place, only 6 shots off the lead of Justin Rose and J.J. Spaun. His game is coming together at the right time as he tries to keep things going in the playoffs. Im had a solid week in Memphis, finishing T-17 despite shooting 1-over in the final round. That got him into the next round of the playoffs and he now gets to play a course where he came in third at 23-under in 2021. It won't be quite the birdie fest it was 4 years ago, but Im is positioned to keep his season rolling this week. WATCH: PGA Tour is live on ESPN+! Get ESPN+ BMW Championship picks – Long shots With only 49 players in the field, there aren't many true long shots on the board. However, Harman is a worthy pick at +8000. He tied for 29th here 4 years ago and could have another strong week in Maryland despite not being the longest hitter on tour. Play our free daily Pick'em Challenge and win! Play now!
