Brooklyn Beckham's brutal response to dad David's knighthood

Yahoo9 hours ago

David Beckham has been adorned with praise and congratulations after being honoured with a knighthood this week. The 50-year-old Manchester United icon was given the prestigious title for his philanthropic work over years.
The move comes after reports that he had labelled the Honours Committee "unappreciative c****" for overlooking him in 2013. Beckham's family have been quick to hail him up for his achievement with both his sons Romeo and Cruz taking to social media to dedicate posts to him.
While daughter Harper does not have social media, David's eldest, Brooklyn did not mention the great honour, at least publicly.

It follows claims the 26 year old is not speaking to David and wife Victoria and he previously missed both his mum and dad's 50th birthday celebrations, according to BirminghamLive.
Romeo, 22, shared a snap with his dad from David's 50th birthday bash, writing "So so proud of you," coupled with a string of four white heart emojis after the announcement was made
Cruz, aged 20, wasn't far behind in expressing his own pride over his father's latest accolade, also using Instagram stories as his platform of choice.
Musician Cruz chose a serene photograph of his cherished father, beaming amidst a woodland scene, to announce: "I'm so proud dad I love you" and he followed it up by hinting at bigger things with: "Sir David Beckham Has a nice ring to it".
Brooklyn Beckham has remained silent on the matter online, choosing to carry on as normal.
His silence is telling, as the aspiring chef shared images of three packets of pretzel pita chips on his Instagram story following the news that David was being knighted by His Majesty.
Brooklyn later shared a photo on his Instagram story of a tin of caviar alongside a bottle of his own brand, Cloud 23, hot sauce, a bottle of wine and two drinking glasses.

David and Victoria Beckham Mention Brooklyn in Father's Day Posts Amid Feud Rumors

David Beckham took to Instagram to share a Father's Day post on Sunday, June 15. The former soccer star called out all of his kids, including son Brooklyn Beckham, in the tribute. His post comes amid rumors he and Victoria have tension with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Beckham headed to social media on Sunday, June 14 to pen a heartfelt Father's Day tribute. While reflecting on fatherhood, the former soccer star mentioned all four of his kids—including eldest son Brooklyn Beckham—amid reports of tension. David stayed mum on feud rumors as he reflected, 'My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad' in an Instagram carousel shared with his 88.1 million followers. 'I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy ( sorry boys ) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what,' he added. He leaned into a nostalgic moment for the holiday, choosing a black-and-white photo of his sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20 as kids for the main image. Brooklyn, who was seated in the middle, could be seen holding his sleeping baby sister Harper, now 13. Beckham also shared a black-and-white photo of him with a teen Brooklyn, as well as images of him with his other kids. Mixed in with numerous throwback photos of his children when they were younger, the athlete also shared a solo photo of his wife Victoria Beckham with a baby bump. David also penned a sweet note directed at the former Spice Girl, adding, 'Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad... Happy Father's Day... I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.' He tagged all three of his sons and created a hashtag for his daughter's name (she doesn't have a social media account). His younger sons were quick to share the Father's Day love, with Cruz commenting, 'You mean the world to us and inspire us every single day, Dad, I love you,' while Romeo chimed in, 'Love you always.' Victoria also included Brooklyn in her own tribute, writing, 'Happy Father's Day to the best daddy there is. You always lead with love, and our four beautiful children are a reflection of that. We all love you so so much!!' She tagged his Instagram account, as well as the accounts of her other two sons. The posts come amid longtime reports that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz are feuding with his parents. While speculation has been swirling since the couple's 2022 wedding, things appeared to escalate recently when Brooklyn and Nicola skipped David's 50th birthday party as well as his Boss underwear campaign launch party. "There are tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the family," a source recently told People. However, the insider seemed to suggest that the couple was taking some space rather than having relationship-ending beef. "The relationship is definitely not beyond repair,' they explained. 'They love and are always there for him. They're just hurt and disappointed that he's now playing no part in family life." Read the original article on InStyle

Martine Rose Spring 2026: Honey, I Shrunk the Clothes

Martine Rose moved to more elegant surroundings this season, with a set design resembling a haute couture salon decorated with wooden chairs and white curtains with ruffles that covered the walls and columns inside the St. Marylebone Jobcentre in London. 'I really wanted the models to enjoy posing and to have fun and for it to be charming because people are charming, aren't they?' said Rose, who worked with street-cast models for her show on Saturday. Somehow it was still sexy, in the vein of Mills & Boon bodice-ripper romance novels. Her characters, some of whom sported long Brian May-esque wigs, wore cropped leather jackets with biker pants; denim shorts with the pockets hanging out, and dresses with a faded tartan pattern. There were two-in-one trousers with the top half resembling jodhpurs and the bottom nodding to soccer socks, and apron skirts with ruffles that matched the set design. Rose said the collection was about inexplicable beauty. 'You don't know why you find something beautiful or sexy, but you just do,' said the designer. 'I wanted people to be sort of swept up in a bit of a dream, but [the designs] are still real. It's a sort of push and pull,' she said. As always, Rose swung the spotlight on the local community. One floor down from the show space, the designer set up a street market and invited a handful of locals to take a corner and sell their T-shirts, magazines, antiques and accessories. 'The show space was an opportunity to celebrate all of the creative people in London and everyone that contributes to the cultural life and dynamism of London — and that needs celebrating,' said Rose. After the show, guests including Romy from band The xx and Simone Rocha roamed around the market, which also had a bar and an area serving pizza. The game is being shown live on ITV1 with coverage starting at 6pm. The live show will be hosted by UNICEF UK Ambassador Dermot O'Leary, who will be joined by Alex Scott with Sam Matterface and Jason Manford commenting. The game will then kick off at 7.30pm, with half time at 8.15pm. While half-time in football is usually 15 minutes, it has lasted longer during Soccer Aid in previous years due to entertainment. This year, singer-songwriter Demot Kennedy, who is also playing in the game, will be performing during the break. In previous years the game has finished at around 10pm, the time when ITV's live coverage is due to end. Soccer Aid was created by music legend Robbie Williams in 2006 and since then has raised over £90m to aid UNICEF in helping support millions of children around the world to have healthy and happy childhoods. The money raised from this year's game could help UNICEF protect children from disease and malnutrition, support their mental health and respond in times of crisis. Soccer Aid takes place on Sunday June 15 at Old Trafford with coverage on ITV1 from 6pm.
