No, it's not the cheapest shoes on the market — forget what Amazon tells you, these often have lacklustre midsole foams, and just won't last you as long. Instead, it's usually last season's shoes that make the best deals.
Running shoe brands tweak some of their most popular shoes each year to refresh them and keep you spending (kind of like Apple with iPhones). Sometimes these changes are worth shouting about, but more often than not, they are minor, making last season's pair cheaper while still being just as good.

Best for: Easy runs, long runs, fans of On!
The On Cloudmonster 2 is a cushioned, everyday running shoe, that looks fantastic. It's a heavily cushioned daily trainer, so the aim is to protect your legs from regular impact, especially over longer distances. Best for: beginners
The Ghost 16 is one of Brooks' best-selling running shoes, and for good reason — it's seriously cushioned and comfortable, and is a fantastic running shoe for easy miles and long runs. The Brooks Ghost has a cult following, thanks to its comfort and cushioning, and the 16 is our favorite version yet. Best for: those looking for a comfortable all-rounder
If you're looking to buy one running shoe that'll cope with all of the different runs on your training plan, the Asics Novablast 4 is a good place to start. It's bouncy and lively enough to help you pick up the pace on your tempo runs and speed sessions, while still being cushioned and comfortable on long runs and easy days. It's bouncy, responsive, and the slightly firmer midsole gives the shoe a lot more versatility.

Best for: daily runs, long distance
This one is slightly more unusual, as it's Nike's current model, so you're getting a good deal! The Pegasus 41 is Nike's popular daily trainer, and the 41st version of the shoe is probably my favorite yet. The new ReactX midsole and higher stack on the Pegasus 41 gives it a softer ride that its predecessors, but it's not so squishy underfoot as to be unstable in any way. Best for: speed sessions and long runs
I've been reviewing running shoes for the past decade, and was impressed with the FuelCell Rebel V4, which I used as my tempo and long run shoe when marathon training. You don't want to wear your carbon fibre running shoes too much ahead of race day, as they typically have a shorter shelf life than most running shoes, so these are a good alternative. The shoe is bouncy and responsive underfoot, and copes well with slower miles, as well as faster sessions.

Best for: those looking to spend less than $60
I know what you're thinking, wait — Skechers make running shoes? But they do, and these are a pair of comfortable, max-cushioned shoes, best suited to easy miles and long runs. They are hailed as cheaper dupes for the Hoka Clifton 9 trainers, without the price tag. Best suited to beginners, or runners looking for a plush shoe to wear for easy miles and long walks, these are a decent option, and for less than $60, now is a good time to buy. Best for: runners looking for a max-cushioned shoe
Last, but by no means least, the Nike Invincible 3. It's my favorite Nike running shoe of all time, and it's been discontinued, so now is a great time to buy if you're looking for a super comfortable, max-cushioned running shoe. The magic in the Invincible 3 lies in the midsole foam. It has Nike's premium ZoomX foam, which you'd normally find in its faster carbon fibre racing shoes. 4 Lessons You Can Learn From Jeff Bezos' Early Amazon Stock Sales
Jeff Bezos, with an estimated net worth of $240.9 billion, is currently the fourth richest man on the planet. Most of Bezos' wealth comes from owning approximately 905 million shares in Amazon, the company he founded in 1994, took public in 1997 and helmed until 2021. But what was his Amazon stock origin story when it comes to building his wealth and shaping his fortune? Meanwhile, his wealth keeps on growing because it comes mostly from his Amazon holdings. Those holdings have appreciated far more over time than a savings account balance would have, ultimately providing Bezos with more cash than he could ever hope to spend. Lesson 3: Leverage Your Investments Instead of Spending Your Salary Bezos has sold Amazon shares fairly consistently over the years, so he always has had plenty of cash to spend and invest in other businesses despite a modest salary. But as Amazon shares have increased in value, Bezos has been able to draw increasingly more cash from fewer shares, leaving all those extra shares to continue building his wealth. Raising cash by selling shares instead of increasing his salary has had the additional benefit of saving him a fortune in taxes. Whereas the highest personal income tax bracket is 35% for 2025, the top capital gains tax rate is just 20% in most cases. What's more, he pays tax on the proceeds of his stock sales rather than his accumulated wealth. For someone who has only their salary to spend, it's the equivalent of being taxed at a low rate on what you spend versus being taxed at a higher rate on everything you earn — which is exactly how wage earners are taxed. Lesson 4: Diversify Your Portfolio Considering that the cumulative gain on Amazon stock is over an estimated 157,600% since its IPO, Bezos would've done quite well had he simply kept all of his wealth in Amazon stock. These headphones rival Sony and Bose, fans say — they're just $32 for a short time
It's no mystery why Tozo earbuds are popular — the low price and high quality make for a compelling buy. Now, the company is hitting that sweet spot again with its over-ear HT2 Headphones, on sale at Amazon. Fans compare them to higher-end options like Sony or Bose, which should tell you something: It's time to grab a pair for yourself. They're down to $32 thanks to a limited-time Lightning Deal — the lowest we've ever seen them. Why is this a good deal? 💰 Those Sony headphones we mentioned? Some of them go for nearly $400. These Tozos are less than a tenth of that price. (Even Sony's most affordable option, the WH-CH520s, are $49.) At 36% off, Tozo's HT2s are the lowest price we've seen them and, quite frankly, a no-brainer. They're also available in seven colors, though prices vary by color. Why do I need these? 🤔 Let's start with the battery life. These cans get 60 hours of playback on a single charge, which is absolutely bonkers. That's more than 700 songs or nearly 10 coast-to-coast flights. The battery life drops a bit when you use ANC (active noise cancelling), but you're still looking at about 40 hours of crisp, clear audio excellence. Don't worry, though. Even if they do manage to run out of juice, you can connect them through a wired connection to continue listening without missing a (literal) beat. The 40-millimeter drivers produce fantastic sound, including crisp high notes and clear bass. The ear cups are made of soft leather and automatically adjust to your head. The Tozo app lets you tweak the settings for different types of music. When it's time to stop listening, these fold up for easy storage and transport. What reviewers say 💬 These headphones have nearly 3,000 happy fans who vouch for their quality. Pros 👍 "These were purchased to replace a pair of Sony CH520s that got paint all over them. I think these Tozo headphones are better in every regard," one fan said. "They are comfortable (I wear glasses). The ear cups are ergonomic; each side has a range of pivot at the headpiece; the headpiece is adjustable (fits my weird head); the crown of the headpiece has nice padding. ... They sound amazing.
