Davido gifts wife $300k watch as they tie the knot in luxurious wedding
In a series of Instagram stories, Davido took his fans through the day, posting pictures and videos of the occasion.
Dressed in a dark brown suit, with Chioma draped in a white lace gown, the couple shared their vows in an emotional ceremony.
'You've been my best friend, my healer, my calm in every storm,' Davido said. 'God sent you to show me deep, unconditional love. We're still here, stronger forever. I promise to protect you with my actions.'
Chioma said: 'As a symbol of my vows to you and all that I have, all that I am, I honour you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.'
During the reception, Davido announced he was gifting Chioma a Richard Mille watch worth about $300,000 (R5.3m).
The wedding reportedly cost $3.7m (R65.7m), with more than 1,300 guests attending.
The couple share a son together and have been together for more than a decade. They got engaged in 2019 and had a secret wedding in 2023, followed by a traditional wedding last year.

CHIDIMMA Adetshina has come under fire from Mzansi and Nigerian netizens after nog 'n twist in her drama-filled storie. The controversial former Miss South Africa contestant was forced to withdraw from last year's competition after doubts about her citizenship, which led to her mother Anabela Rungo currently being on trial for identity fraud. She however was invited to compete in Miss Universe Nigeria on the back of her father's citizenship and won the competition. Now a year after the controversy, she has snubbed returning to hand over the crown to her successor. Adetshina has also reportedly cut ties with Nigeria's beauty pageant, unfollowing them on Instagram and announcing her absence from the grand finale. A TikTok fan page shared a video, expressing their excitement about seeing Adetshina crown the next beauty queen. The former Miss SA contestant commented: 'Unfortunately, I won't be there.' It is also reported that she is back in Cape Town. And mense are diep kwaad. Netizens have taken to X to call out the Home Affairs minister, Leon Schreiber, and to ask him how Adetshina entered SA. @ashseraka wrote: 'How did Chidimma Adetshina get back in the country @Leon_Schreib?' '@HomeAffairsSA @Leon_Schreib How is it possible that a person with known fake identification documents is back in the country?' @LixMiller said. And Nigerians are also targeting the 24-year-old beauty, saying she is ungrateful because the Miss Universe Nigeria organisation gave her a platform last year after she withdrew from Miss SA.
