Faisali and Wihdat aim to reach the final to have a shot at one of the season's titles after Hussein retained the Pro League crown and won Jordan Super Cup while Salt won their first ever title when they snatched the Jordan Football Association Shield.
Playing at Amman International Stadium, Hussein will be eyeing their first Jordan Cup title. They are led by Faisali'sex-coach Ahmad Hayel who was dismissed in the final weeks to join Hussein with whom he won his first title as a Pro league club coach owing their win to a last minute draw of Ramtha vs Wihdat who were leading the league by one point ahead of the final day of the competition.
On the other hand, Faisali's veteran player and coach Jamal Abu Abed will strive to snatch a title for his club with the aim of competing again regionally next season after Hussein and Wihdat exited the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Champions League (ACL) Two in the Round of 16 this year.
In the other semifinal at King Abdullah Stadium, Wihdat'sTunisian coach Qais Yacoubi also hopes to snatch a win after the Pro League crown slipped away. The coach acknowledged that defensive errors had cost his team the win, and has urged his players to put that result behind their back and focus on the coming season.

MKF Successfully Concludes 2025 'Ithra' Summer Programs for Ages 10–16
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) has successfully concluded its 2025 Ithra Summer programs, which ran from June to August and included: Ithra Buds, Ithra Young Leaders, and Ithra Youth. The programs reflect the Foundation's commitment to equipping young Bahrainis with the skills and knowledge to meet the demands of the future, while fostering personal growth and community engagement. This year's edition targeted three distinct age groups: 10–12, 13–14, and 15–16. Each track adopted a comprehensive, hands-on approach encompassing accredited workshops, field visits, interactive challenges, training camps, sports days, and artistic and community projects. The content focused on future-ready skills, artificial intelligence, self-discipline, creative thinking, entrepreneurship, arts, and financial literacy, all aimed at preparing participants for the next phase of technological and global advancement. Notably, 2025 marked the launch of Ithra Youth for participants aged 15–16, designed to develop leadership skills, build self-confidence, and strengthen understanding of artificial intelligence. The initiative achieved a participation rate exceeding 90%, reflecting its appeal and effectiveness. All program content was developed based on surveys and interviews with the target groups to ensure alignment with the actual needs of Bahraini youth. The workshops were designed to integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with activities delivered year-round during academic breaks as well as other intervals. Commenting on the occasion, H.H. Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at MKF, stated, 'The measurable impact of our Ithra programs reflects our commitment to providing an environment where young people can explore their potential and build their skills for future success. They are a core part of our summer initiatives, which also include the 'Job Shadowing' and 'Training Camp' initiatives. We are proud of this ambitious generation and remain dedicated to introducing exceptional opportunities that enrich their educational journey.' To deliver the programs, MKF partnered with more than nine prominent professional and educational entities, including the Child Protection Unit at the Ministry of Interior, the Bahrain Space Agency, the National Bank of Bahrain, Pro Boxing Ladies Studio, Vanilla Café, and Bon Coffee, owned by Ms. Najiba Bousnan. The Foundation also collaborated with a number of distinguished figures such as H.H. Shaikh Turki bin Hamad Al Khalifa, H.H. Dubai Workshop Stresses Joint Security Effort to Safeguard Stadiums Ahead of 2025–26 Season

Additional steps include segregating rival supporters in the stands with physical barriers and regulating the entry of loudspeakers, banners and tifo displays (large, choreographed fan banners).The workshop also reviewed major challenges facing the Pro League and stadium security teams and discussed remedies, with an added focus on enhancing sustainability at venues through planning and decisions aligned with government teams from Dubai Police and the Dubai Sports Council have continued joint site visits with relevant stakeholders to verify that preparations are complete for the start of the 2025–2026 season. The checks covered security planning, facility readiness and safe crowd-management mechanisms, with all logistical and technical arrangements confirmed to support a strong, high-energy kickoff. Dubai Police and the Dubai Sports Council said they will continue to convene forums and workshops with national institutions to enhance the readiness of sports bodies to host events across all disciplines. The goal, they said, is to strengthen decision-making by adopting data-driven administrative systems while adhering to the highest standards of organization and safety, and to promote community partnership and sportsmanship in a way that reflects the UAE's standing on the global stage.
