Law Roach Spilled On Zendaya And Tom Holland's Upcoming Wedding

Buzz Feed10-04-2025
Wedding bells are in the air! No, not for me and Pedro Pascal, but for Tom Holland and Zendaya.
In January, reports that the Spider-Man costars were engaged after four years of dating began swirling after Zendaya was photographed wearing a very large ring at the Golden Globes. Tom's father then confirmed the news, saying that the actor "was very incredibly well prepared" and asked his future father-in-law for his daughter's hand.
Enter Law Roach, Zendaya's long-term fashion collaborator. He was asked by E! at the Fashion Trust US Awards red carpet if he will "help out" with the wedding dress. "Of course, of course" Law replied.
"It's far away. They are both making a bunch of movies this year and there's a lot of premieres next year, so you'll see a lot of red carpets. I'm resting up for 2026," he continued.
As for the wedding, he agreed that he's "got some time." Indeed, both Tom and Zendaya are slated to appear in Christopher Nolan's adaptation of The Odyssey — as well as another Spider-Man film — so there's certainly no shortage of projects for them already.

Justin Baldoni Responds to Isabela Ferrer's Bullying Claim

Originally appeared on E! Online Justin Baldoni is rebuking Isabela Ferrer's claims. After the It Ends With Us actress accused the director of "harassing" her and drawing "her deeper into litigation and disputes that she has done her best to avoid," following his attempts to subpoena Ferrer, Baldoni's team slammed the Aug. 17 filing. "We write in response to Isabela Ferrer's opposition to the Wayfarer Parties' motion to serve her by alternative means," Baldoni's counsel wrote in the Aug. 18 letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman obtained by E! News. "The opposition is primarily an inappropriate attack upon Mr. Baldoni and his counsel … and irrelevant to whether Ms. Ferrer should be served via alternative means." The filing alleged that Ferrer—who played the younger version of Blake Lively's character Lily Bloom in the Colleen Hoover adaptation—had her attorney Sanford Michelman accept "service of the Subpoena" on her behalf when Lively had issued one in February 2025 amid her and Baldoni's ongoing legal battle. More from E! Online Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's Daughter Daisy Looks So Big in Rare Photo Michelle Williams Confirms She Welcomed Baby No. 4, 3rd With Husband Thomas Kail Jinger Duggar Has Priceless Reaction to Sister Jana Duggar's Pregnancy News "In July 2025, the Wayfarer Parties subpoenaed Ms. Ferrer for documents she either neglected to produce or were not requested by Ms. Lively's subpoena," the letter explained. "The Wayfarer Parties twice requested that Mr. Michelman accept service of their Subpoena." "Mr. Michelman ignored the Wayfarer Parties' requests," it continued. "Instead, Mr. Michelman prepared and filed a robust 'opposition' to the motion for alternative service … without explaining why he refused to accept service of the Wayfarer Parties' Subpoena or why his client is so reticent to testify." Baldoni's attorneys alleged that Ferrer's counsel told them that they should have reached out to her talent agent. Although the letter argued, "Naturally, we deemed Ms. Ferrer's counsel (and not her talent agent) as the appropriate person with whom to communicate concerning the Subpoena." After his team emphasized that it was Lively's team who "first subpoenaed" the 24-year-old, they argued that the Gossip Girl alum "should not be permitted to obtain discovery from Ms. Ferrer, while Ms. Ferrer and her counsel frustrate all effort by the Wayfarer Parties to obtain the discovery critical to the preparation of their defense." Baldoni's attorneys requested that "given the circumstances," they are "willing to stipulate that none of the parties will use any communication to, from or concerning Ms. Ferrer, or any testimony from her, in any manner." E! News has reached out to reps for Lively and Ferrer for comment and has not yet heard back. In Ferrer's opposition to being served by alternative service, which E! News obtained, her attorney accused Baldoni—whom Lively is suing for sexual harassment—and his associates of acting "inappropriately" towards her after she received her subpoena from Lively. Her counsel argued that Baldoni's Aug. 12 motion should be denied because it was brought "without conducting the diligence necessary to support a motion for leave to serve a discovery subpoena on Ms. Ferrer by means other than personal service." The filing alleged that Baldoni's team did not make efforts to "determine Ms. Ferrer's actual residential or business address." Ferrer's counsel stated that after Ferrer reached out to Baldoni's Wayfarer Studios production company to have her legal fees covered per her film contract, she was asked by the company to "relinquish control of her response to the Lively subpoena to Wayfarer before being granted compensation." "From that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer," her lawyers alleged in court documents, accusing Baldoni of harassing her after she refused to agree with his team's terms. Aubrey Plaza details ‘daily struggle' of coping with husband Jeff Baena's death

Aubrey Plaza is sharing how she's coping with grief and loss after the death of her husband, Jeff Baena. The 41-year-old actress started dating the screenwriter and director in 2011, according to People. The couple, who frequently worked together, tied the knot in 2020 and were married for five years. According to CNN, Baena was found dead in the couple's home on Jan. 3. He was 47. During the Aug. 19 episode of the 'Good Hang' podcast, Plaza opened up about her husband's tragic death with host and former 'Parks and Recreation' co-star Amy Poehler. While she said she's 'here and I'm functioning,' Plaza described coping with death as a 'daily struggle.' 'I feel really grateful to be moving through the world. I think I'm OK, but it's a daily struggle, obviously,' she told Poehler, who played Plaza's boss in the sitcom that ran from 2009 to 2015, per IMDB. Plaza went on to compare the grieving process to a scene she watched from 'The Gorge.' 'In the movie, there's like a cliff on one side and there's a cliff on the other side, then there's a gorge in between,' she said of the film, which was released Feb. 14, per IMDB. 'And it's filled with all these like monster people that are trying to get them,' she continued. 'I was like, that feels like what my grief is like — or what grief could be like — where it's like at all times there's like a giant ocean of just awfulness that's right there and I can see it,' she said of the scene. She continued: 'Sometimes I just want to dive into it, and just like be in it. Then sometimes I just look at it, and sometimes I try to get away from it. But, it's always there.' Plaza and Baena were known to keep their relationship private — despite being together for nearly 14 years. The couple worked together on the 2014 film 'Life After Beth,' which Plaza starred in and Baena directed, per IMDB. He also directed the 2022 film 'Spin Me Round,' which also featured Plaza. In May 2021, while working on 'Spin Me Round,' Plaza casually announced the couple's marriage. 'So proud of my darling husband @jeffbaena for dreaming up another film that takes us to Italia to cause some more trouble,' she wrote in an Instagram post at the time, per E! News. Plaza first opened up about her husband's death three days after the tragedy. 'This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time,' she wrote in a statement shared by E! News on Jan. 6. According to a report by the medical examiner, obtained by People in March, Plaza and Baena had separated in September — months before his death. Authorities later confirmed that the writer and director died by suicide. While speaking to police during the investigation, Plaza confirmed their separation months prior and said he had made concerning remarks in October that led to a welfare check, per People's report. Plaza told authorities that she last heard from Baena three hours before his death when he sent her a text message, according to E! News. He was pronounced dead inside his home at about 10:40 a.m. local time.

Sarah Paulson Shares Her Surprising Reaction To Having Kim Kardashian As A Co-Star

Sarah Paulson and Kim Kardashian have shared the screen together twice, and now Paulson is sharing what surprised her the most about the reality TV star. 'She's funny,' Paulson told E! News at the Television Academy Hall of Fame red carpet on Saturday. 'She had me giggling a lot. She doesn't take herself seriously. She's great, I had a great time with her.' Paulson added that not only is Kardashian 'incredibly game, incredibly professional,' but she also 'knows her lines ― she's ready to play.' 'She's respectful of the process, she's learning. She's growing. She's happy to be there. I've learned a lot from her,' she added. 'I had a really lovely, lovely time.' The Emmy winner is also a huge advocate for others to recognize Kardashian's work in the acting space. 'I think it is absolutely time for people to take Kim Kardashian seriously as an actress. She was absolutely excellent in 'American Horror Story: Delicate,'' Paulson told Yahoo Entertainment last year. 'I think the show we're about to do together is going to be a tremendous amount of fun and she's going to be glorious on it. I have absolutely no doubt about that. Zero.' Paulson also previously highlighted two huge benefits to working with Kardashian ― free Skims gear and lots of aesthetic advice. 'She's the person I just wanna ask about all things having to do with fashion and beauty, and she gives me all the answers to every question I could possibly have,' Paulson told Variety in 2024.
