Falcon-H1 language model to be offered as NVIDIA NIM Microservice

12 June 2025 19:17 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD) The Technology Innovation Institute (TII), a leading global research centre headquartered in Abu Dhabi, has announced that its next-generation open-source language model, Falcon-H1, will be available as a NVIDIA Inference Microservice (NIM), a move that significantly enhances the model's enterprise deployment in parallel with NVIDIA's GTC showcase in Paris, the initiative positions Falcon-H1 for immediate integration across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments, a statement from TII said. The availability of Falcon-H1 on NIM will enable developers to deploy it with production-grade performance, bypassing the need for complex infrastructure customisation.'Falcon-H1's availability on NVIDIA NIM reflects our ongoing leadership in shaping the future of open, sovereign, and cross-domain deployment-ready AI. It demonstrates that breakthrough innovation from our region is not only competitive on the global stage – it's setting new benchmarks for scalable, secure, and enterprise-ready AI,' said Dr. Najwa Aaraj, CEO of is built on an innovative hybrid Transformer–Mamba architecture, blending the efficiency of state space models (SSMs) with the advanced reasoning power of Transformer networks. This design supports context windows of up to 256,000 tokens, enabling long-context reasoning and high-speed inference with reduced memory overhead. Its multilingual design ensures competitive performance across both high- and low-resource to Dr. Hakim Hacid, Chief AI Researcher at TII, 'Falcon-H1's availability on NVIDIA NIM bridges the gap between cutting-edge model design and real-world operability. It combines our hybrid architecture with the performance and reliability of NVIDIA microservices. Developers can integrate Falcon-H1 optimised for long-context reasoning, multilingual versatility, and real-world applications. What once required weeks of infrastructure tuning becomes achievable in minutes at scale, with multilingual depth, and production resilience.'The integration with NVIDIA's NeMo microservices and AI Blueprints adds full lifecycle tooling for tasks such as data curation, safety guardrails, and post-deployment optimisation. This makes Falcon-H1 a fit for regulated and latency-sensitive AI deployments, further enhancing its credentials as a sovereign AI solution. With over 55 million downloads, the Falcon model family is among the most widely adopted open-source AI efforts from the Middle East. TII's alignment with NVIDIA's enterprise-grade deployment frameworks affirms Falcon-H1's status as a production-ready, sovereign AI alternative to proprietary systems.

Abu Dhabi's Khazna to build Blackwell-ready data halls for NVIDIA across MEA

Following in the footsteps of the announcement last month during President Donald Trump's official visit that a mega 5 GW UAE-US AI campus will be built in the UAE, Khazna Data Centres (Khazna) said on Wednesday that it is collaborating with NVIDIA to build AI factories in the MEA region. NVIDIA has certified the design of Khazna's next-generation facilities to support the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. Khazna's ongoing and upcoming infrastructure developments will feature NVIDIA-ready blueprints as standard, ensuring full compatibility with the latest GPU-accelerated workloads. The Abu Dhabi-based Khazna, majority-owned by G42 with MGX and Silver Lake as new minority shareholders, is a global leader in hyperscale digital infrastructure. Hassan Alnaqbi, CEO of Khazna Data Centres, commented: 'The world is entering a new era of AI-driven innovation, and the UAE is uniquely positioned to lead. Our work with NVIDIA represents a bold step forward in delivering high-performance, future-ready infrastructure at an unprecedented scale. It reinforces our support for the UAE's ambitions to become a global AI leader.' Khazna will design the majority of its future data halls with capacities of up to 50 MW, developing individual AI clusters of up to 250 MW. With many of these data halls situated in the planned UAE-US AI campus, this will place the UAE among the world's most advanced AI infrastructure hubs. Khazna is also expanding rapidly across the Middle East, Africa and Europe, with plans to scale up to 1 GW of capacity in countries such as France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye, and Kenya.

CrowdStrike Secures AI with NVIDIA LLM Integration

Home » Emerging technologies » Cyber Security » CrowdStrike Secures AI with NVIDIA LLM Integration CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) has announced the integration of Falcon® Cloud Security with NVIDIA's universal LLM NIM microservices and NeMo Safety. This collaboration delivers full lifecycle protection for artificial intelligence (AI) and over 100,000 large language models (LLMs). The company revealed that the integration expands CrowdStrike's protection for Enterprise AI Factories. With NVIDIA's support, customers can now securely run and scale various LLM applications across hybrid and multi-cloud environments from day one. According to CrowdStrike, the Falcon® platform now secures every stage of AI innovation, from build and runtime to posture management. Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, stated that the company is defining how AI is secured across the software development lifecycle. He noted that this collaboration with NVIDIA brings CrowdStrike's cybersecurity leadership to cloud-based AI environments. Justin Boitano, Vice President of Enterprise AI Software at NVIDIA, added that security must match AI's growing scale and speed. He said NVIDIA and CrowdStrike are helping enterprises protect AI workloads from development to deployment. Enterprises can now rely on the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory combined with CrowdStrike security. This includes the tools to build, deploy, and run AI and LLM applications efficiently and securely. The NVIDIA LLM NIM microservice container was reported to simplify the shift from development to production. It packages open and specialized LLMs as microservices, enabling high-performance inference across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This includes systems with AI sovereignty needs. CrowdStrike reported that as LLMs enter production, AI risks increase. These risks include data poisoning, tampering, and sensitive data leakage. The Falcon platform now integrates with NVIDIA NIM to deliver end-to-end protection. It monitors runtime behavior and provides AI-driven detection and response. These are trained on trillions of daily security events and frontline intelligence. In addition, CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security offers pre-deployment protection through several capabilities: AI-SPM and AI Model Scanning Shadow AI detection These tools identify risks before models are live and deliver threat intelligence. This intelligence integrates with NVIDIA's NeMo Safety workflows, enhancing the security of foundation models. Furthermore, services like CrowdStrike AI Red Team and Falcon® Adversary OverWatch are available to help secure every stage of AI development and deployment. Together, CrowdStrike and NVIDIA are enabling secure, scalable innovation from code to cloud.
