Iran attack latest developments: Israel strikes nuclear facility in Isfahan

Several explosions were heard in Tehran and surrounding areas Friday evening, Iranian state media reported, more than 12 hours after a massive wave of Israeli attacks on the country.
"There were reports of explosions heard in the west of Tehran province," in the cities of Shahriar and Malard and around the neighborhood of Chitgar in Tehran city, state news agency IRNA reported, while Mehr agency reported a blast in Pakdasht southeast of the capital.

The Israeli military said it struck on Friday Iran's nuclear facility in Isfahan as it pressed on with its strikes on the Islamic republic.
"I can now confirm that we struck the nuclear facility in Isfahan. The operation is still ongoing," military spokesman Brigadier General Effie Defrin told journalists.
Mehr news agency said had reported a "massive explosion" in Isfahan.

Israel's army chief on Friday said the military was keeping up "full force" to achieve its goals after launching a wave of strikes on military and nuclear sites in Iran.
"We are continuing with full force, at a high pace, in order to meet the goals we have set for ourselves," Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir said in a statement.
"There will be difficult moments, we need to be prepared for the range of scenarios we have planned for, very high readiness and discipline are required on the home front."

Israel at this point does not plan to target Iran's political leadership, Israeli national security adviser Tzachi Hanegbi said Friday after attacks on Iranian military and nuclear sites.
Hanegbi told Israel's Channel 12 that Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali "Khamenei and his people... there is currently no plan to kill them".

Israel's national security adviser Tzachi Hanegbi on Friday said it was "impossible" to destroy Iran's nuclear program using only force, after Israel launched a wave of strikes on the Islamic republic.
"It is impossible to destroy the nuclear program with force alone. The goal is to make the Iranians understand that they will have to stop the nuclear program," Hanegbi said on Israel's Channel 12.

Sayyed Houthi: Israeli Aggression on Iran Comes in Context of Targeting Its Model of Independence
Head of Yemen's Ansarullah Movement Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi indicated that the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran came within a broader Western effort that views Iran as an independent model supportive for the Palestinian cause. In a televised speech on the occasion of the Day of Wilaya, Sayyed Houthi said that the Israeli enemy, backed by the West, sees the Islamic Republic of Iran as a nation building a civilizational renaissance and an Islamic power. 'The Israeli, American, British, and their allies do not want any independent state among Muslims that does not submit to their authority. The Israeli enemy is criminal and audacious in committing such a heinous crime—an enemy with absolutely no justification for its aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.' All the fabrications, pretexts, and excuses promoted by the Israeli enemy are utterly absurd. he said, highlighting the positions of Arab and Islamic countries united in condemning the Israeli aggression against Iran, as a good and positive development. Iran names new Guards aerospace chief to replace one killed by Israel
Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei appointed a new head of the Revolutionary Guards air arm on Saturday to replace the one killed by an Israeli strike.
