How much are tickets to see Steve Martin and Martin Short on tour in 2025?
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, the trailer for season five of Hulu's hit whodunit 'Only Murders In The Building' hit the internet.
Over its brief two minute runtime, the audience is reintroduced to Lester the doorman, the latest casualty at Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora's (Selena Gomez) posh Upper West Side apartment complex, The Arconia.
We quickly learn that our heroic podcasting trio will deal with the 'a dangerous web of secrets connecting powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters and the mysterious residents of the Arconia' while trying to solve his untimely end. Notable new guest stars this time around include Christoph Waltz, Keegan-Michael Key, Dianne Wiest, Renée Zelwegger and Téa Leoni among others.
The season is slated to begin Sept. 9.
If you can't wait that long, you can catch Steve Martin and Martin Short on the road beginning Aug. 22 in Seattle, WA as part of the latest leg of their co-headlining 'Dukes of Funnytown Tour.'
They'll conclude their 26-show nationwide run with giggle-heavy gigs at Albany, NY's Palace Theatre on Thursday, Dec. 4 and Wallingford, CT's Toyota Oakdale Theatre on Friday, Dec. 5.
After doing a bit of digging, our team found that fans can expect to see the ironic pair fling insults at each other and toss out gags at 'a rapid-fire pace with little setup and big punchlines (that) mock Hollywood and the fickle nature of celebrity;' Martin will likely play the banjo while Short might revive his iconic Jiminy Glick character.
'Good-natured oneupmanship ruled the night, including a closing bit when they read eulogies for each other that were both hilarious and wickedly mean,' Inlander reported, in a glowing review of a 2019 show of theirs. '…if they came back and did a show every Sunday night, I'd be there.'
As of now, tickets are available for all upcoming Steve Martin-Martin Short shows.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for any one performance was $31.32 including fees on Vivid Seats.
Other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $96 to $452 including fees.

Steve Martin/Martin Short 'SNL50' monologue
Setting the tone for 'SNL50' was no easy task. In order to match the moment, the presenter needed to be simultaneously biting, of the old guard and relevant in today's comedy landscape. Of course, Steve Martin was the only logical choice to deliver the monologue.
In just under seven minutes, with the help of John Mulaney, Martin Short and more, the funnyman spouted off great lines about 'the Gulf of Steve Martin' and 'how a person born during the first season of 'Saturday Night Live' could be dead from natural causes.'

Piers Morgan's '90s Throwback Photo is a Who's Who of Hollywood Heavyweights
Piers Morgan's '90s Throwback Photo is a Who's Who of Hollywood Heavyweights originally appeared on Parade. Piers Morgan is looking back on the heyday of Hollywood. The controversial British talk show host, who recently caused a stir by criticizing Beyonce's Marilyn Monroe-inspired Levi's ad as "cultural appropriation," took to social media to post a throwback photo of himself alongside some of Hollywood's biggest heavyweights. Taken in 1993 when the popular chain restaurant Planet Hollywood opened, the photo shows Morgan bent down to pose for a photo alongside Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Willis, each wearing Planet Hollywood jackets. (The three were backers of the restaurant chain.) "Wow… someone randomly posted this photo on X today… it was taken in 1993 when Planet Hollywood opened in London and these three guys were the biggest movie action heroes in the world. It's so sad that Bruce is now enduring such a dreadful incurable illness (frontotemporal dementia). Had some fun times with him over the years, a great character as well as a great movie star. As are Sly and Arnie, two of my favourite stars to interview because they're always honest, funny and news-making," Morgan captioned the photo. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 No words if Morgan is still tight with that squad. However, one person we assume Morgan won't be hanging out with anytime soon is Stephen Colbert. In a recent tweet, Morgan made it clear that he won't be one of the many hosts lending his support to Colbert, whose program, The Late Show, was canceled. 'This is so damning,' Morgan wrote, posting a cover of the New York Post that referred to "The Left Show," a play on Colbert's left-leaning guests. 'Most of America's biggest late-night hosts have become nothing more than hyper-partisan activist hacks for the Democrats — a party that's rarely been more unpopular. No wonder Colbert got canned. More will follow.'Piers Morgan's '90s Throwback Photo is a Who's Who of Hollywood Heavyweights first appeared on Parade on Aug 12, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Aug 12, 2025, where it first appeared. Trey Anastasio announces 3 NYC Beacon Theatre shows. Get tickets today
Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. In fall 2020, Trey Anastasio was performing live when virtually no one else was. Rather than sit out due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Phish frontman headlined eight 'Beacon Jams 2020' concerts at NYC's Beacon Theatre for an audience of zero. The shows were live-streamed for his adoring Phans and raised 'more than $1.2 million to establish the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program,' according to Jam Bands. Five years removed from the now historic act, the jam band pioneer is headed back to the Upper West Side for three more shows at the Beacon Theatre on Friday, Nov. 28, Saturday, Nov. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 30. 'The performances will feature a range of formats, including Trey Anastasio Band and the return of The Rescue Squad Strings,' Anastasio shared via Instagram. 'Proceeds from the shows will benefit the the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program.' At the final 'Beacon Jams' show on Nov. 27, 2020, the singer-guitarist performed 19 songs, according to Set List FM. That included Phish songs like 'Carini,' 'Love Is What We Are,' 'Pebbles and Marbles,' 'Fast Enough For You' and 'First Tube.' According to Anastasio, 'The Beacon Jams shows were the most artistically satisfying thing I've ever worked on. They meant so much to everyone involved–not just the audience, but the musicians as well. Everyone was hungry for music and connection, and somehow we found a way to create community in the middle of such a messed-up, isolating moment. Even the name felt meaningful–like we were shining a searchlight into the fog and manifesting something positive out of something so negative.' Prior to the Beacon run, Phish will perform at festivals, amphitheaters and coliseums all over North America from Sept. 12-21. Fans Phans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Trey Anastasio shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the November Beacon Theatre residency is Friday, Aug. 15. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event. 'First Tube' (Phish song) 19.) 'March Party' Trey Anastasio new music On Sept. 20, 2024, Anastasio dropped 'Atriums.' Comprised of six tracks — all of which are anywhere from 14 to 16 minutes long — the record is a spacey, experimental trip, allowing the freewheeling Big Red to noodle, mess around and fiddle finding lush, feedback-heavy soundscapes along the way. To dive deep into the trippy and sometimes foreboding offering, you can find the expansive, mind-altering 'Atriums' here. More recently, Trey collaborated with Guerilla Toss and Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus on the angsty single 'Red Flag to Angry Bull.' Huge jam bands on tour in 2025 While Trey might be the face of unpredictable live rock and roll, many other artists who promise 'no two set lists are the same' will be on the road these next few months.
