Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United Europa League final live streaming
The 2024/2025 UEFA Europa League final, scheduled for May 21, 2025, at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, will feature a high-stakes showdown between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. The winner of this decisive clash won't just lift the trophy—they'll also clinch a crucial place in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League. For the runner-up, however, the season ends empty-handed and without European football next year.
This final also carries broader consequences, potentially reshaping the European qualification picture for other clubs.
Both Tottenham and Manchester United have had dismal Premier League seasons, with Spurs currently 17th and United just a place above in 16th—historic lows for both clubs. For Tottenham, this match is a chance to end a 17-year wait for silverware. Head coach Ange Postecoglou is determined to bring success to North London, leaning on his record of securing titles in his second season at previous clubs, including Celtic and the Australian national team.
Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Rúben Amorim enters the final under pressure. His side has already fallen short against Tottenham three times this season, and the Portuguese manager is keen to change that narrative. In his pre-match remarks, Amorim acknowledged that a Europa League title wouldn't erase the struggles of their campaign, but he believes it could serve as a stepping stone toward rebuilding confidence and laying a stronger foundation for the future.
Tottenham Hotspur team news
In his press conference, Ange Postecoglou confirmed that Lucas Bergvall will miss the UEFA Europa League Final, with the squad largely unchanged from last week.
He stated that Pape Matar Sarr is "fine" after being substituted early in Sunday's Premier League match against Aston Villa due to back discomfort.
Speaking from the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday afternoon, Postecoglou said: 'Team news is pretty much the same. Lucas is not available, so we're basically as we were last week.'
This means Bergvall remains sidelined along with James Maddison, who will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury in Tottenham's 3-1 win over Bodø/Glimt in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final. Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin, and Dane Scarlett are also ruled out of the final due to injuries.
Manchester United team news
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed that three players returning from injury are fit and ready to play in the upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao.
Striker Joshua Zirkzee has made a full recovery after picking up an injury during United's 4-1 loss to Newcastle. Defender Diogo Dalot, who has been out since late April with a calf issue, is also back, along with Leny Yoro, who was forced off with an injury in the game against West Ham. All three are now available for selection in this important fixture.
Tottenham vs Manchester United Europa League final starting 11 (Probables)

Tottenham interested in signing Brentford's Mbeumo
London, June 13 (UNI) Tottenham are interested in signing Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo Cameroon international Mbeumo scored 20 times for the Bees in the Premier League last season. The 25-year-old's former manager at Brentford, Thomas Frank, was named Spurs boss on Thursday. Earlier this month, Mbeumo was the subject of a bid from Manchester United of £45m and £10m in add-ons. However no agreement was reached between the two clubs with the offer falling well short of Brentford's valuation. Sources have told BBC Sport that Spurs are yet to submit a bid for Mbeumo and there has been further interest in him from other Champions League clubs on the continent. It is understood there is no release clause in Mbeumo's contract, which still has a year left to run, although there is the option to extend it by another year. Mbeumo has scored 70 goals in 242 appearances for Brentford since arriving in west London in 2019 from Ligue 2 club Troyes. UNI BM

Manipur's Suman eager to cement her place in the Indian women's hockey team
As the Indian women's hockey team begins their European leg of FIH Pro League against Australia at Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre in London on Saturday, one player who will be more than eager to showcase her skills is Manipur's Suman Devi Thoudam. After breaking into the senior team as a teenager way back in 2017 during a Test series against Belarus in Bhopal under the then coach Sjoerd Marijne, she went onto play 12 matches including the 2018 Asian Champions Trophy where India finished second behind South Korea. She played few more games after that but couldn't ever cement her place in the squad and last played during the 2022 Pro League against the Netherlands in Bhubaneswar. However, she has made a comeback into the squad after three years and made her presence felt during India's tour of Australia last month where the Harendra Singh-coached side played five matches and won one. Speaking about her return, Suman said, "During the first game, I felt a bit nervous. But I had played under Harendra sir earlier and he gave me a lot of confidence. Sushila Chanu has also supported me a lot at the camp." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo And the person who was the happiest seeing her return to the team was her father. A hockey player himself during his youth at the local club level, Thoudam Anand Singh used to wear his daughter's jersey and proudly stroll around the neighbourhood. "He stopped doing it though after I was dropped from the team. He had told me then that he would wear them after I made it to the team again," added Suman. A carpenter by profession till a few years back, Anand, hopefully, has started wearing them now and will be watching the Pro League games from Imphal home, where he resides along with his wife. However, this remarkable return wouldn't have been possible but for the coaches at National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) in Delhi, who gave Suman all the support she needed. "After I was dropped from the squad, I trained hard and worked a lot on my fitness but never did I feel that hockey was over for me. I obviously felt sad but I kept telling myself that I have enough time in my hands to make a comeback," added Suman, who also landed a job in Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) in 2022, much to the relief of her family. This struggle though wasn't anything compared to when she first came to Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy in 2014 and struggled to get accustomed. "I couldn't understand Hindi even a bit, I used to feel nervous and scared, felt like crying and wanted to go back home," recollected the defender, who also led the U-21 side in two invitational meets in 2019. Luckily she persevered and today she has another chance to prove to everybody what she is capable of. And what better opponents to do it against than Australia. Storm make first visit to short-handed Valkyries
The Golden State Valkyries are expected to be without three key players when they host the Seattle Storm on Saturday night in the continuation of the Commissioner's Cup in San Francisco. Among those expected to be away from the team at FIBA EuroBasket 2025 for potentially more than two weeks is Janelle Salaun of France. Salaun contributed 21 points for Golden State in an 89-81 overtime road victory over the Los Angeles Sparks on Monday. The win improved the Valkyries' record in Commissioner's Cup play to 2-2 with two games remaining in conference play. Julie Vanloo, who made her second start against the Sparks, will play for Belgium in the EuroBasket tournament, while Cecilia Zandalasini, who had 18 points in the Valkyries' most recent home game a 95-68 thrashing of the Las Vegas Aces will represent Italy. FIBA EuroBasket 2025, critical for European national teams attempting to qualify for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup, concludes June 29. "We have a plan. You have to be ready," said Valkyries coach Natalie Nakase, whose team added veteran free agent Aerial Powers to fill one of the roster vacancies. "Obviously we want them to go with their heart. We're supporting if they want to go to Eurobasket; we're supporting if they want to stay." The Valkyries' roster also includes England native Temi Fagbenle and Carla Leite of France. Leite is expected to remain with Golden State, while Fagbenle is on England's roster, but neither she nor the Valkyries have announced her intentions. The Storm seem to have survived the exporting of WNBA talent, with Gabby Williams and Dominique Malonga, a pair of French standouts, electing to stay with the club. Seattle gained the upper hand in the Western Conference standings of the Commissioner's Cup at 3-1 with a 94-84 home win over the previously unbeaten Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday. The win was the third in a row for Seattle . The Storm and Lynx currently are tied for the West's top spot in the Cup standings, with Seattle owning the tiebreaker edge. Each team has two games remaining, with the conference's top club earning a spot in the Cup finals on July 1. Seattle's visit to San Francisco will be its first in the Valkyries' inaugural season. It serves as a homecoming of sorts for former Stanford star Nneka Ogwumike, who had a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double in the win over Minnesota. The 14-year WNBA veteran, a Texas native, recognizes her decision to attend Stanford was life changing. "I'm from Houston, so I'm Southern, I'm officially a West Coast girl," Ogwumike said. "I've been in the Bay , I've been in L.A. , and now I'm in the PNW . The West Coast just feels good for me." Field Level Media
