Katie Price shares scathing message about 'fakery' as Peter Andre drama rages on

Metroa day ago
Katie Price has shared a lengthy message in response to Peter Andre's bombshell statement about her parenting of daughter Princess and son Junior.
In it, she admitted to her 'sins' while vowing to 'be better' after years of personal battles with addiction and mental health issues.
It comes after, in a recent Instagram post, Peter hit out at his ex-wife, making shocking comments about their kids' welfare.
Peter, who met the former glamour model on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, said he felt 'frustrated' at having to remain silent since their separation in 2009, but felt compelled to speak out now to 'set the record straight' once and for all.
He wrote that, in 2019, 'the family courts issued a legally binding order' to enforce the arrangement of Princess, now 18, and Junior, now 20, living with him and his wife, Emily Andre, 35, due to 'well-documented' reasons.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker claimed that Katie is continuing to repeat 'falsehoods' and 'lies' about him and his relationship with his kids, more of which will be addressed in the 'coming months'.
It is assumed he is referring to Katie's claims that she was 'banned' from Princess's recent birthday party, which was filmed for the budding influencer's fly-on-the-wall series with ITV.
Initially, it was speculated that there was a rift between the reality star and her daughter but after Princess firmly quashed these, Katie claimed it was her daughter's management—who also manage Peter—who dished out the order.
Now, Katie has taken to her own social media page with an essay about 'saints and sinners'.
She wrote this evening: 'Saints and sinners. As we know, in this life we are thought of as Saints and Sinners.
'I know I will always be a Sinner. That's fair, I allowed myself to fail into reliance on drugs and alcohol.
'At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, an an untrustworthy partner.
'I've self medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love.
'I've had many reasons – I was sexually abused when younger; I've had relationships that have been coercive; and my mental health issues – but I don't want to make excuses.
'I've recognised my issues and worked to put them behind me. Sometimes I tried and failed, sometimes I succeeded.
'I've pulled myself out of suicidal spiral because I love my children and want to be there for them.
'I don't pretend to be perfect by any means – but I'm trying to be the best I can.'
Katie proceeded to mention the 'Saints' who are 'genuine' and have 'helped her', before launching an attack on those who 'are not who they would have you believe they are'.
'They have a carefully managed image which must be exhausting to maintain,' she continued.
'Some Saints are fake. They play the victim and to succeed in life they need a villain… or at least a Sinner. Without the Sinner they don't get to be the Saint…
'As a Sinner – I sometimes get bored of these Saints. But maybe I should feel sorry for them, It must be such hard work having to pretend all the time.'
Katie concluded: 'Anyway, all you Sinners keep your heads up and keep trying to be better. All you Saints, it's ok not to be perfect xxx'
Her latest post comes after Katie's reps issued a statement to Metro after Peter revealed Princess and Junior had been in his care since 2018 'for their safety'.
'Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation,' they said. 'This was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly, she's dealing with this the right way, and it's now in her lawyer's hands.

'Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was…'

Maura Higgins' defiant stance as she's set for awkward Danny Jones run-in after kiss

Love Islander Maura Higgins and her I'm A Celebrity campmate Danny Jones stunned fans when they were spotted sharing a drunken kiss at a BRIT Awards afterparty earlier this year I'm A Celebrity campmates Maura Higgins and Danny Jones could be facing an awkward encounter at this year's National Television Awards, following their drunken kiss at a BRITs afterparty. Danny, 39, won the most recent series of ITV 's I'm A Celeb, and so will be showing up at the event - as will Maura. ‌ The video, which saw the two share a kiss, resulted in a dicey time for Danny's marriage to influencer and wife of 11 years, Georgia Horsley, 38. He has spent the year quietly attempting to repair their relationship after Georgia left the family home for a period of time to cool off. ‌ Danny and Georgia share their six-year-old son Cooper, and seem to have patched things up after what could have been a marriage-ending indiscretion on Danny's part. It comes after ITV makes major decision on I'm A Celebrity's future after talks with officials. ‌ While Danny attempted to win Georgia's trust back, Maura herself kept a low profile for a short time. Their National Television Awards appearance will be a test for Georgia, although a source points out they all knew their "paths were bound to cross at some point. Speaking to The Sun, they said: 'Danny is expected to attend the NTAs on September 10, as have all previous reigning jungle winners — and Maura is also going." The source added: 'There will have to be some clever choreography to ensure they don't end up next to each other when walking the red carpet, but they could both end up on stage if I'm A Celebrity wins. Maura won't be answering any questions about the kiss. She's put the incident behind her and feels she has nothing to be ashamed of." McFly star Danny has put on a united front with Georgia after the couple's testing year. The pair were all smiles as they attended the first of seven Wembley gigs for the Oasis reunion tour last month. ‌ Mum-of-one Georgia, 38, shared a black and white photo posted on her husband's Instagram Story. It showed her beaming as they made their way from Wembley Stadium. Danny was looking over at her as they shared a laugh between them, showing they've put their rocky patch behind them and have moved on. They were joined by Danny's mum, Kathy, who walked in between the pair in the candid snap. It's been a tough year for the couple, with the news of Danny's drunken BRITS kiss with Love Islander Maura sending shockwaves earlier this year. ‌ But lucky for Danny, it appears Georgia was willing to give their marriage another try, although the pair lay low on social media since the video surfaced in March this year. Meanwhile, Maura has been keeping herself busy with work, as well as buying her new house. The 34-year-old former Love Island contestant has earned an estimated £3.2 million in the years since she found fame on the ITV dating show back in 2019. And she has splashed the cash on a luxury new home - snapping up a five-bedroom property in the south east of England. The semi-detached house boasts an impressive garden and has huge, floor to ceiling windows that allow plenty of natural light to flood in.
