Awkward encounter between Katy Perry and Robert Irwin
Katy Perry stopped by Australia Zoo on the Queensland leg of her Lifetimes Tour and shared on social media a string of pictures showing her alongside a koala, kangaroo, a rhino and Robert Irwin.
The US singer posted a video to her Instagram story of her walking up to Irwin in his Australia Zoo uniform and encouraging him to practice dancing with her ahead of his upcoming appearance on US Dancing With the Stars.
'I thought that maybe we should do a practice round here at Australia Zoo' Perry announced while putting her arm around Irwin.

They then attempted to waltz together awkwardly before Perry requests a 'dip' and Irwin gently drops her on the floor.
'Maybe stick with the animals' she joked as Irwin helped her off the floor.
It seems that Perry has since deleted the video from her TikTok account.
The pop star also posted a video of her hugging a koala, feeding a kangaroo, holding a wombat on a leash and stroking a Rhino. Katy Perry and Robert Irwin at Australia Zoo. Credit: Instagram
Perry has already played to sold-out arenas in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth during her Aussie tour. She has now left Perth and is due in for her final Aussie dates on June 26, 27, and 29.
Rumours have been circling that Perry and her long-term partner, Orlando Bloom, are on the rocks.
Bloom was photographed walking through the Perth CBD on Sunday ahead of Perry's show at the RAC Arena, with their daughter on his shoulders but Perry was nowhere to be seen.

Perry's two Perth shows were largely well-received — headlined by flashy visuals, sky-high acrobatics and fan cameos on stage.
She invited 16-year-old Armadale local, Archie Richards, on to the stage to rap with her after he caught her attention with his Menu log 'Sandwich board' outfit.
After sharing the stage with his idol on Sunday night, Archie told PerthNow the experience 'didn't feel real.'

The Back Page: Fans say same thing as beloved TV show wraps up after 29-years on air
Don't miss out on the headlines from Sport. Followed categories will be added to My News. Fans are up in arms after beloved long-running sports program 'The Back Page' had its final ever episode on Tuesday night. Earlier this month it was revealed that the popular sports show had been axed after 29 years. But in that time it had become a staple of many households' Tuesday night schedules and viewers were understandably emotional after the final episode concluded just after 8.30pm AEDT. Watch the biggest Aussie sports & the best from overseas LIVE on Kayo Sports | New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited time offer. In those 29 years, Australia has had eight Prime Ministers and nine Test cricket captains, yet the iconic sports program has only ever had two hosts, Mike Gibson and Tony Squires, as the show beamed into households around the country on Tuesday nights since 1997. And on Tuesday, an emotional Squires signed off for the final time as he admitted he doesn't want the show to end but that is the decision that has been made and therefore he and the entire cast must accept. 'I am not going to lie it's going to be really hard to walk out tonight but go we must,' Squires began. 'We've been around a long time. Thank you for letting us into your lives for that stretch. 'Thank you to the more than 500 people who have taken a seat on the panel or as a guest. Thank you to sport for being the best live unscripted theatre. You can watch Squire's full The Back Page farewell in the player above. Tony Squires signs off for final time. Image: Kayo 'Thank you to anyone who has celebrated victory prematurely and five-putted and recorded it. Thank you so much for doing that. ' … And so from everyone at The Back Page goodbye.' Immediately after signing off social media was flooded with tributes for the beloved show as many fans voiced their displeasure at the decision to dump The Back Page. 'Seriously why in the hell is this show ending??' one loyal fan of the show wrote on X. 'I hate it when good TV shows end. Farewell 'The Back Page', what an incredible run,' another added. 'I can't believe Fox Sports has decided to end The Back Page. TBP is one of the all-time great sport shows,' a third wrote. While others said 'Shame Back Page is going. Why do all the good shows end' and 'One of the shows I've watched every week is the back page. I'm truly sad it's ending'. The Back Page has welcomed more than 500 special guests (pictured Gout Gout appearing on the show last month). Image: Fox Sports Announcing the news earlier this month Fox Sports boss Steve Crawley said the decision to axe 'The Back Page' was not due to cost cutting, instead, the company believed it was time to move in another direction. 'At Fox Sports, we have introduced a number of new shows in recent times and we have more in final planning,' he said. 'The Back Page has been entertaining audiences for nearly three decades; there are very few shows that can claim that. 'Entertainment programming is a tough business in that it's like life itself, how everything has a lifespan. Even the great shows like 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' and 'The Back Page'. 'In a big country with different codes of football and unique tastes, it's extremely rare for a sports show to survive, let alone for almost 30 years.' Amanda Bynes turns to Ozempic to achieve weight-loss goal
Amanda Bynes has turned to Ozempic in bid to reach her ideal weight. The 39-year-old star has revealed via social media that she's turned to the well-known weight-loss drug in a bid to reach 130 lbs. In a video shared on Instagram, Amanda explained: "I'm going on Ozempic. So excited. "I'm 173 now so I hope to get down to like 130, which would be awesome so I look better in paparazzi pictures." The Love Wrecked star - who began her career as a child actor - has promised to keep her social media followers up to date with her weight-loss journey. She said: "I will post about my Ozempic journey of course." Last year, Amanda revealed that she'd gained more than 20 lbs, after suffering with depression. The actress - who has previously battled mental health struggles and drug addiction - insisted that she was on the road to recovery, after overcoming the worst of her health issues. Appearing on Instagram in March 2024, Amanda shared: "I'm doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don't feel like working out or eating clean. "I weigh 162 lbs. right now and want to get back to 110 lbs." Amanda shot to fame as a child on Nickeldeon and went on to have a successful career in Hollywood. However, she quit the entertainment business over a decade ago after enduring a number of personal problems, including an addiction to the ADHD prescription medication Adderall. Amanda launched her own podcast in 2023, but she pulled the plug on the project after just one episode so that she could pursue a more steady job. The former child star revealed that she was quitting podcasting and was instead working towards getting her "manicurist license". At the time, she wrote on Instagram: "The 1st episode of my podcast did really well. I was actually surprised and of course was going to keep going after friends encouraged me to. 'After thinking about it, though, I would rather get my manicurist license and have a consistent job. 'I'm going to follow that path instead. Thank you for following my journey! (sic)"

Her loyal hairstylist has worked with the likes of Kim Petras, SZA, and Lucy Liu, and has been a long-time collaborator of the Roar singer through his involvement various magazine shoots and red carpet events. However, perhaps Mr Ly's most proud work would be as part of the 'glam team' for Perry's mission to outer space in her controversial Blue Origin voyage. Andrew Ly is Katy Perry's hairstylist.
