Naomi Campbell dons electric stimulation suit for gruelling Pilates session
In a video posted to her Instagram on Wednesday (20 August), the supermodel can be seen wearing a black suit while on an exercise machine alongside a personal trainer.
EMS suits like these use electrical impulses to stimulate muscles you might not normally activate, causing them to contract and relax, essentially mimicking the effects of exercise — which provides a more intense workout in a shorter period of time.
Campbell has been training with PT Rafael Ferreira in Brazil.

Rivers of Fate – Episode 4 Recap, Review & Ending Explained
Not Fear – Anger The season finale of Rivers of Fate starts with Phillipe and the driver of the car escaping Janalice's chokehold. He threatens to shoot the girls but the car reaches the dock as Philippe's men check on the boat to depart from Pera. What happens at the dock? Jonas shows up though and asks to buy Janalice. He threatens to kill Phillipe with a gun, who agrees to let Janalice go. Meanwhile, Mariangel and Zé Do Boi, as well as Gigante and his men, are still on their way. Janalice refuses to go without the other three girls. Jonas hits Phillipe with the gun and asks his men to let all the girls go. However, Gigante shows up and attacks Jonas. Gunfire rains down as Jonas flees with Janalice, and the other three girls try to run away. Phillipe and his men chase after Jonas and Janalice. Mariangel and Zé Do Boi though, save the three girls from Phillipe's men. What happens to Gigante? Gigante manages to escape his car after it tumbles over during the crossfire. At the same time, Janalice and Jonas try to escape onto a boat. Gigante kills Phillipe's men, asking Phillipe to stay out. He claims to want to kill Jonas himself. While Gigante and Jonas fight, Janalice tries to escape on her own, but is captured by Phillipe. Gigante kills Zé De Boi but is killed by Mariangel. Mariangel blames herself for Zé Do Boi's death, but continues to look for Jonas, her final target. Does Mariangel kill Jonas? Jonas watches helplessly as Phillipe takes Janalice away in a small boat. When Mariangel finds Jonas, he begs her to let him go so that he can save Janalice. He tells Mariangel that he did not kill her husband and her son, but it was Gigante. Jonas manages to convince Mariangel to let him go, as he wants to save Janalice. Does Miltinho find his sister? What happens to Janalice? The episode moves to Miltinho and Luzia, who managed to get on a boat after fleeing from the party. Luzia talks to her little brother about Janalice, referring to her as the girl who helped her. Meanwhile, Phillipe manages to brainwash Janalice into becoming a performer at his club in French Guiana. Janalice (now Jane), cuts her hair short and performs in front of rich men and is auctioned for sex work. On the other hand, Mariangel goes back to her friend and tries to look for Janalice. How does Mariangel help Janalice? Mariangel meets one of her friends from the army, named Cristóbal, in French Guiana. She tries to look for the club that Jonas had mentioned. She asks Cristóbal to try to find a way to sneak in and out of the club where Janalice is held hostage. Mariangel asks Cristóbal to help her get Janalice to flee like they did once during their military days. Mariangel and Christóbal proceed with the execution of their plan. What does Janalice do to escape? Meanwhile, Janalice also tries to find a way out of the club while keeping up appearances. She starts sneaking cash and other items for her escape. One night, Christóbal enters the club as a guest to help Janalice escape. Mariangel sneaks inside the premises as per their plan and sets up for the escape. Christóbal bids for Janalice, but Jonas shows up as a guest. He tries to win the auction by increasing the bid. Christóbal somehow manages to take Janalice away, winning the bet. Meanwhile, the owner of the club attacks Mariangel, who's setting up the exit. What happens on the night of Janalice's escape? In the room, Janalice drugs Christóbal before he can help her escape. On the other hand, Phillipe asks to see Jonas in private. Jonas agrees to pay whatever it takes to buy Janalice. Phillipe asks to take Tabaco's gold ring, which Jonas unwillingly hands over to Phillipe. Jonas attacks Phillipe and his guard and escapes the room with his father's ring. By the time Mariangel makes it to the room Christóbal is in, Janalice disguises herself as a man and tries to escape the club. Janalice meets Jonas and asks him to help her distract the guard so she can escape. Phillipe manages to get away and tries to stop Jonas. Janalice uses Christóbal's gun, which causes a stampede in the club with people trying to exit. Most of the girls make it out, while Jonas and Janalice escape, too. Does Janalice go with Jonas? Jonas tries to kiss Janalice, but she refuses, claiming that she does not want him or any man, for that matter. Phillipe shows up though, trying to take Janalice away. Jonas shoots Phillipe, killing him, whiule Mariangel kills Jonas at the same time. How does Rivers of Fate end? Mariangel takes Janalice with her, leaving Jonas to die in the middle of the street as he dreams of her. The episode ends with Mariangel bringing Janalice home to her mother. Janalice refuses to go home but asks to join Mariangel instead. The Episode Review Out of all things happening in this show, I did not expect Janalice to be planning her exit on the same night as Mariangel planned to help her flee. This was the most chaotic 45-minute episode among the four in this season. From what we see, this show sheds light on the sexual violence that occurs in the small community of Pera, Brazil. The episode was entertaining to watch, and I did sympathise with Jonas, aka Preá, a little because he did everything in his power to help Janalice, even if it was to marry her without her consent. I am also satisfied with the end where Janalice asks to be with Mariangel, the only sensible parent on this show. While I do wish some of the characters did not have to die, Gigante and Phillip's deaths are some that I am not sad about at all. I wish Mariangel would go and kill Brazão and Zé Elídio, too. Considering that this is a limited series and the makers have no intention of renewing this for another season, I hope to see a spin-off series and the adventures of Mariangel and Janalice if there will be one. Otherwise though, this was a solid series and a decent ending. Previous Episode Expect A Full Season Write-Up When This Season Concludes!

Rivers of Fate – Episode 1 'The Video' Recap & Review
The Video Episode 1 of Rivers of Fate starts with a young couple making out by the beach. The boy begins filming a video of them, while the girl performs oral sex on him. While on her way to school the following day, the girl (Janalice) realises that her boyfriend has shared their intimate video with his friends and with everyone in their school. Janalice confronts the boy about this, but she is met with the mocking eyes of all her schoolmates. At the same time, the video has now reached kids from other schools. Janalice's father ends up seeing the video and informs his wife about it. Lizete, the girl's mother, beats Janalice up and punishes her by taking her phone away. Elsewhere, a gang of thieves attack a passenger boat and starts stealing from them. One of the guys starts filming Preá, the leader of the gang, beating the passengers up. The thieves take the phone though and start attacking him. That night, another man named João Mauro catches his son making out with another boy. He tells his wife, Mariangel, about it but she tells her husband to ignore their son, claiming that things would be much better for them once they finally move to a more progressive town, Sao Paulo. João Mauro claims that their son is not man enough and offers to teach him to use a gun, but Mariangel gets defensive and asks her husband to back down. The episode moves to a Colombian man visiting Pará to meet his boss, the Ambassador. Ambassador tells the man that he needs to find light-skinned women to work as strippers and dancers at his bar. Lizete and her family go to church, where the preacher talks about the effects of social media on young children. After the service, Lizete and Pedro take their daughter to Balem, Pará, to visit Lizete's sister, Daiane. Lizete asks Daiane to look after her daughter, and she goes back to Colombia. At Daiane's house, she introduces Janalice to her boyfriend Romiro, who seems to have taken an interest in her. When Daiane leaves the two alone, Romiro brings up the video, which makes Janalice upset. She decides to take a walk outside, where she meets Dionete. Janalice becomes friends with Dionete, and the two hang out with a young boy called Miltinho, who is looking for his sister. Dinette tells Janalice that Miltiniho's sister could be a sex worker, and Janalice sympathises with Miltiniho when she notices how Dionete guilt-trips him into stealing for her. Meanwhile, Mariangel's son tries to learn how to use a gun with his friend but fails to fire a shot. Preá and the other thieves try to store their loot in their boss' boat when Gigante asks Preá about having a shot at hooking up with one of the girls they abducted. Their boss and Preá tease Gigante, which pisses him off further. Coincidentally, Dionete's boyfriend, Mário, is working for Preá, who is smuggling women to be used for sex work. Unbeknownst to them, Janalice asks Dionete to borrow Mários phone so they can look for Miltinho's sister. Mário takes a look at Janalice and realises that she is the perfect candidate for sex trafficking, given her beauty. At Diane's house, Janalice is growing tired of hearing her have sex with Romiro. She tries to sleep, but Romiro shows up in the middle of the night and starts touching her. Janalice tells Dionete about this, who, surprisingly, offers to kill Romiro. Janalice borrows a phone and tries to talk to her father about it. Pedro worries that his daughter might be in danger and asks Lizete to get her back. Lizete argues that they are punishing Janalice for what she's done and asks him to be stern with her. That night, Mário asks Dionete to bring Janalice to their house. That same night, Gigante and Preá have a fight when the former undermines Preá's authority. They decide to go get a drink and end up at Mariangel and João Mauro's store. There, they kill João Mauro and try to attack his son. Mariangel shows up and kills some of Preás's men. Gigante gets upset and takes the boy hostage before leaving with him. Mários men try to kidnap Janalice. and after a chase, Janalice is captured and transported to be collected by Preá's men. Mariangel chases after Preá's men in her boat and asks them to let her son go. Gigante kills Mariangel's son and leaves his dead body in the river. Mariangel puts her son's body in her boat and wails for him. Meanwhile, Pedro shows up to pick Janalice up to take her home. Daiane tells Pedro that she does not know where Janalice was. Pedro calls a friend and tells him that Janalice is in danger, asking them to help find her. The episode ends with Janalice being captured by Preá. The Episode Review This is an interesting show which highlights the crimes that take place in Pará, Brazil and the gang violence that is still prevalent there despite the advancement in science and technology. We see instances of assault, murder and rape happening quite casually which shows how crimes are dealt with in developing countries compared to first world countries. Given that the show has many characters, it would have more sense for the makers to share the names of each of the characters to help viewers follow the show better. We don't even know the name of the main character, Janalice, until the middle of the episode! From what we have seen here though, Preá likes Janalice but it does not change the fact that he has no power to save her. He is also a gangster so I do not have any sympathy for him. Additionally, she is a teenager which makes the idea of their romance absurd. Lizete is an awful parent and no God would forgive her for abandoning her own child. Mariangel's husband also has no business claiming that learning to use a gun could save their son's life because look where that got him. This beautiful Chicago bakery was just shortlisted at the 2025 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards
We're not saying bigger is better. But in the case of Umaga Bakehouse, it doesn't hurt. At nearly 4,000 square feet, it's one of the largest Filipino bakeries in the U.S., and Aida Napoles of AGN Design turned that space into a sun-dappled, modern refuge for sweet-toothed Chicagoans. Think warm earth tones, bronze tile accents, floor-to-ceiling windows and a bespoke S-shaped wooden table that curves through the space, doubling as seating and display. Umaga has earned buzz for its Filipino staples, from fluffy ensaymada to hot pandesal, ube-infused treats and even halo-halo. Now, Napoles' work has been named to the shortlist for the 2025 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, founded in 2008 in the U.K., sees over 14,000 entries from 100 countries judged by big names from the worlds of interior design, architecture and gastronomy. Umaga's inclusion sends a clear signal that Chicago's design-forward hospitality game is earning some serious international cred. "We're beyond thrilled to share that Umaga Bakehouse has been shortlisted for the 2025 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards in the Americas – Café category!" the Umaga team wrote on the bakeshop's Instagram page. "Endless thanks to Aida @design_agn for creating a space truly worthy of celebrating Filipino culture. Also another huge thanks to @dylan_martin_furniture for the incredible millwork and his exceptional craftsmanship. @jcoursework for sharing your beautiful artistry with us that truly honors our Filipino roots and allows everyone to be connected and proud of our heritage. We're honored to stand alongside so many incredible projects and can't wait for the awards ceremony this October in Dubai." The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards feature five categories each for the Americas, Asia, Australia & the Pacific, Europe and the Middle East & Africa, as well as 14 global categories that are not region specific. Those five categories are Cafe, Hotel, In Another Space (hospitality spaces located in anything from airports to cinemas), Standalone and Surface Interiors, which celebrates "how surfaces such as walls, ceilings and floors come together in creating a food and beverage space." Of course, reaching the shortlist is just the first step. The awards ceremony will be held later this fall in Dubai, so eyes from Miami to Manila will be watching to see if Umaga Bakehouse can take home the award. That would be a really sweet treat!
