
Guelph Police trying to find missing 35-year-old woman
Guelph Police are trying to locate a missing 35-year-old woman.
They said Rhonda was reported missing on June 25.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, she was last seen in downtown Kitchener on June 9.
Rhonda is described as white, 5'5' and 100 lbs., with dyed red/orange hair and tattoos on her shoulder blades and forearms.

A 44-year-old woman from Elliot Lake, Ont., has been charged following a disturbance at a clinic in the city last week in which threats were made to harm children. (File) A 44-year-old woman from Elliot Lake, Ont., has been charged following a disturbance at a clinic in the city last week in which threats were made to harm children. Police were called around 11 a.m. Aug. 7 to respond to an incident at the clinic, located on Ontario Avenue. 'Upon arrival, officers learned that an individual had become verbally abusive toward staff and refused to leave the premises when directed to do so,' Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release. Threatened children 'During their interaction with police, the individual made threatening comments, indicating intent to harm the complainant and the complainant's children.' A brief struggle ensued when police tried to take her into custody. She has since been charged with uttering threats, resisting arrest and refusing to leave a premises when directed. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on Sept. 11.

18-year-old from Gatineau, Que. killed in motorcycle crash near Luskville
Police in western Quebec say a young man has died following a late-night motorcycle crash near Luskville. MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais police said officers were called to a section of Highway 148 near Chemin de la Montagne at around 11:45 p.m. Monday, where an eastbound motorcycle driver had crashed. The victim is an 18-year-old man from Gatineau, police said. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation and no other details were made available.

Unlicenced Sault woman charged with impaired driving following crash

(File photo) A 34-year-old woman has been charged with multiple offences, including impaired driving and dangerous operation of a vehicle, following a single-vehicle crash in Sault Ste. Marie last week. Sault police say officers responded to a 911 call reporting the crash near Landslide Road and Fourth Line East around 4:40 p.m. on Saturday. 'Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle in a ditch and the driver sitting outside,' the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service said in a news release. After speaking with the driver, investigators determined she was impaired by alcohol. Breath tests confirm alcohol levels above legal limit The accused was taken to the Police Services Building, where breath samples confirmed her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) exceeded the legal limit. The local woman faces six charges in total, dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving without a licence, failing to surrender a motor vehicle permit and failing to surrender an insurance card along with impaired driving offences – including having a BAC over 80. The woman was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 8.
