The winger's £10million price tag has put off Rangers but may be OK for the Old Gold.
Wolves have just cashed in on Cunha by selling the Brazil star to Manchester United for £62.5m.
Rak-Sakyi came through the ranks at Crystal Palace, winning the club's Young Player of the Year award and being tipped to replace Wilfried Zaha, who enjoyed a similar trajectory.
But as is often the case in football, five years down the line, the forward is yet to make his mark at Selhurst.
Those who know him say his potential is limitless, but he just needs a manager who will trust him with consistent minutes in the Premier League.
Palace are reportedly willing to part ways with him, as the club looks to rebuild ahead of their European adventure after winning the FA Cup.
The Eagles are set to play in the UEFA Europa Conference League next season, after being booted out of the Europa League due to a complicated multi-club ownership situation involving Lyon.
Palace have stated they will fight the decision with the club's ultra fans planning a protest and accusing UEFA of only thinking about money.
SunSport understands they will be heading to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to try to overturn UEFA's verdict.
Eberechi Eze to Tottenham LATEST | Transfers Exposed
This means the club is now battling on two fronts, challenging their European demotion while also trying to strengthen the squad for next season.
Any potential incomings or exits will likely take longer than the club would have hoped.
But given the circumstances, this summer is shaping up to be a tough one for everyone associated with the club.
Rak-Sakyi, though, will be hoping for clarity on his future so he can focus on playing football, whether that be at Palace or Wolves.
The Eagles are also anticipating bids for both Eberechi Eze, who has suitors at Arsenal, and Marc Guehi, who has long been linked with Liverpool.

No one can afford to buy Alexander Isak, says ex-Newcastle player John Anderson
That is the view of former Magpies defender John Anderson amid frenzied speculation over the Sweden international's future on Tyneside following his absence from the club's first pre-season friendly at Celtic on Saturday. The 25-year-old striker hit the headlines once again last week when Premier League champions Liverpool indicated they would be prepared to offer £120million – around £30m shy of Newcastle's hands-off valuation – for him should he become available. However, Anderson told the PA news agency: 'Once you've got good players and you've got very, very good players, they're always going to be linked with other teams. That's always been the nature of the game and that's never, ever going to go away. 'I just don't think anybody at this moment in time can afford Isak and that's the truth of it. 'There's a lot of speculation about whether he's going to sign a new contract and have the club offered him a new contract – I don't think the boy is in any hurry to sign a new contract because he's got three years left on his present deal. 'Why would he be?' Head coach Eddie Howe revealed after the 4-0 defeat at Celtic Park that Isak had been sent home from Glasgow after a pre-season training camp in Austria because he was never going to play any part in the game as he manages his return from a groin injury. Howe did not want him sitting in the stands as the rumours gathered pace, despite his club's insistence that he is simply not for sale. Anderson said: 'It's a high-profile game, the champions of Scotland against a side that's qualified for the Champions League, but I think all the speculation would have been about Isak sitting in the stand rather than being focused on the game.' The former Republic of Ireland defender, who now covers the Magpies' games as a co-commentator for BBC Radio Newcastle, has witnessed Isak's meteoric rise since his £63m arrival from Real Sociedad during the summer of 2022 and knows how vital his retention is. He said: 'Oh God, he's huge. It's okay getting whatever you get for him, but how do you replace a player like that? That's the bottom line. 'You've got all the money in the world, yes, but can you get a player in who can do what he does?' Anderson played alongside Kevin Keegan and Peter Beardsley at St James' Park and watched Alan Shearer scored a record 206 goals for the club and he believes Isak is a special talent. He said: 'Shearer was a great out-and-out goalscorer, but this boy has got everything. Not only does he score goals, but he creates goals, he makes space for other people, he frightens the life out of defenders with his movement. 'And at the age that he's at, he's still got his prime years ahead of him. He's only going to get better.'

Liverpool FC agree fee of up to £79million for striker Hugo Ekitike
Liverpool FC have agreed a deal worth up to £79million for striker Hugo Ekitike. The Reds have agreed to pay a guaranteed £69m to sign the France Under-21 international, with a further £10m possible in add-ons. Ekitike has been given permission by club Eintracht Frankfurt to travel to Merseyside to complete the deal, with the Reds hoping he can join the squad on their pre-season tour in Asia. Manchester United and Newcastle United have been among the interested parties but Premier League champions Liverpool look set to sign the striker. The 23-year-old scored 22 goals in all competitions for the German club after making his loan move from Paris St Germain permanent last summer. It would be the second time this year that Eintracht Frankfurt have sold one of their key players to an English club, after Egyptian Omar Marmoush joined Manchester City in January. Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes and some medical staff did not travel with the Reds to Hong Kong on Sunday in order to complete the signing. The Reds are looking to build on manager Arne Slot's successful first season at the club, where they won the Premier League title. Ekitike would become Liverpool's seventh signing of the summer, taking their spending to nearly £300 million. The striker would join new recruits Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Armin Pecsi and Freddie Woodman.

Dundee United have discovered who they will face in the next round of UEFA Conference League qualifying if they defeat UNA Strassen. Jim Goodwin's side face the minnows from Luxembourg in the second qualifying round with the away first leg taking place on Thursday followed by the return leg at Tannadice Park seven days later. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The draw for the third qualifying round was made at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday with United among the unseeded clubs. Dundee United are battling to qualify for the UEFA Conference League. | AFP via Getty Images There were various possibilities for United which included potential trips to Turkey, Netherlands, Bulgaria and Moldova, among others. However, they have been handed a tough draw with the winner of their tie against UNA Strassen set to face the winner of the tie between Rapid Vienna of Austria and Montenegrin outfit FK Dečić. Rapid Vienna qualified for the Conference League after finishing fifth in last season's Austrian Bundesliga before defeating LASK in a play-off for the last European place on offer. They reached the quarter-finals of the Conference League last term before succumbing to Djurgården of Sweden. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad FK Dečić, meanwhile, finished fourth in the Montenegrin top flight last season and reached the third qualifying round of the Conference League before exiting at the hands of HJK Helsinki. Rapid Vienna are big favourites to progress through that tie so United will be anticipating a trip to Austria if they avoid what would be a humiliating defeat to UNA Strassen. The tie would stir memories of United's famous run to the European Cup semi-finals in 1984 with Rapid Vienna defeated in the quarter-finals on the away goals rule after a 2-2 draw on aggregate. The Conference League third qualifying round ties take place on August 7 and August 14, with the draw for the play-off round being held on Monday, August 4.
